Chapter 382: Action

The young woman’s face flushed crimson. Though reluctant, she dared not refuse and shuffled forward, dragging her feet as she approached.

Xu Sanyan, impatient, seized her arm and pulled her into his embrace. The girl’s unique fragrance filled his senses, its delicate aroma seeping into his nostrils.

Holding her felt like holding nothing at all. Her body was as light as cotton, her skin soft and tender. Perched on his lap, her small feet dangled in the air, barely touching the ground.

“Heh heh…”

Yang An chuckled, drawing everyone’s attention. He reached into his robe and produced a storage pouch, presenting it with both hands. “I only recently learned of the young master’s wedding. Please accept this humble token of my sincerity.”

Xu Sanyan glanced at the pouch with a raised eyebrow before turning back to play with the girl in his arms. His thin lips parted slightly as he murmured, “Your thoughtfulness is appreciated.”

Yang An breathed a sigh of relief. He accepted it.

Seeing Xu Sanyan’s disinterest, Yang An wisely rose to his feet. “Then I’ll take my leave. I entrust my younger sister, Shuang’er, to your care, young master.”

Xu Sanyan tilted the girl’s chin, scrutinizing her face. “You’re called Shuang’er?”

The girl’s eyes were half-closed, her cheeks flushed as she nodded gently. “This servant is Yang Shuang’er.”

“A fine name,” Xu Sanyan praised, though he couldn’t quite explain why it was good—it just sounded right.

Yang An, realizing he was overstaying his welcome, simply bowed. “Farewell.”

Yang Shuang’er watched Yang An’s retreating figure, her heart pounding with anxiety. Though she had served Young Master Lin at the Yang Family estate—her own territory where she felt somewhat secure—this was Thousand Autumns City, his home. If he had… unconventional tastes, what would become of her?

Her fate couldn’t possibly be good.

As her fear grew, Yang Shuang’er gazed at Yang An with a pitiful expression, her small hands clutching the hem of her silk gown so tightly that the fine fabric crumpled. She desperately hoped he would return to take her away.

But she was destined for disappointment. She herself was part of the gift, a plaything the Yang Family had offered to appease Xu Sanyan.

In Yang An’s eyes, Yang Shuang’er held even greater value than the spirit stones in the storage pouch.

Everyone knew Young Master Lin’s fondness for beauty. Just look at his earlier expression: when presented with spirit stones, his face remained impassive, like a still, ancient well. But when offered women, his face lit up with joy, his grin nearly stretching to the back of his head.

After Yang An left, the Wang brothers also took their leave, leaving only two women and one man in the stone pavilion.

Xu Sanyan leaned close to Yang Shuang’er’s neck, greedily inhaling her fragrant scent. He traced his tongue across her pale skin, causing the young woman’s delicate body to tremble.

Then, lifting her skirt, he stroked Yang Shuang’er’s bare calf before gently removing her shoe, revealing a pair of pristine silk stockings.

With her shoe gone, Yang Shuang’er grew visibly uneasy, her small feet fidgeting restlessly, as if desperately trying to endure something.

The silk stockings, lacking elasticity, hung loosely on her feet. Xu Sanyan slipped his fingers beneath the stocking’s edge and lightly tickled the soles of her feet.

“Mmm~”

Yang Shuang’er instinctively let out a soft moan, then clamped her mouth shut, determined not to make another sound.

“Adorable…”

Xu Sanyan’s eyes gleamed with amusement as he continued to tease her, watching her reactions with great interest.

Wang Zixuan pursed her lips, her face clouded with displeasure.

Since their marriage, they had shared a bed fewer times than she could count on one hand. It was as if her husband had lost interest in her after the wedding, sometimes preferring Chunmei’s company to hers.

Wang Zixuan couldn’t understand why, assuming he had simply grown tired of her.

“Husband, do you remember what happened last time?”

“What happened?” Xu Sanyan asked, turning his head.

“The First Madam’s eldest daughter…”

Xu Sanyan nodded. “Oh, you mean her? What about her?”

“Father wants to complete the wedding before the Mist Tide. What do you think?”

Xu Sanyan tilted his head in thought for a moment, his hands still wandering restlessly over her body. “Fine.”

Last time, the First Madam had proposed marrying her daughter, Wang Mingxin, to him as a secondary wife. The Wang Clan Head had agreed, and Xu Sanyan had no objections either.

Marriage? Just another wife. No big deal. He wouldn’t have to support her anyway. The more wives, the better.

Wang Zixuan turned to leave. “Very well, then. I’ll go now. Please take care of yourself, Husband.”

“Hmm?”

Xu Sanyan immediately bristled at her last remark. Take care of himself? Was she looking down on him? Didn’t she know how robust his constitution was?

“You stay too. Tonight, I’ll take on one dragon against two phoenixes!”

“Mmm~”

A flicker of delight flashed through Wang Zixuan’s eyes. She seemed to have found a way.

That night, pleas for mercy and agonized screams echoed through the night, never ceasing. By the latter half of the night, Chunmei and Xiazhu had also been summoned to the room…

The next morning,

Xu Sanyan pushed open the door. The rising sun flooded the room with light, revealing torn and disheveled clothes strewn across the floor, white socks draped over the table, shoes kicked under the bed, and several pale bodies sprawled haphazardly across the bed.

If not for the faint rise and fall of their chests, one might have mistaken them for corpses.

Xu Sanyan straightened his robes, glancing disdainfully at the bed. A sneer flickered across his lips.

Hmph, not a single one could put up a fight!

He strode out of the room.

In the stone pavilion, the storage pouch Yang An had given him yesterday still lay untouched. Xu Sanyan had forgotten to retrieve it, and no one dared touch it.

With a casual wave, the pouch flew into his hand. He opened it to find over a thousand spirit stones inside—not a fortune, but a token of the Yang Family’s goodwill.

“Summon the Wang brothers.”

“At once.”

Moments later, Wang Ying and Wang Yu arrived. “Brother Lin, what urgent matter calls for us?”

Xu Sanyan remained silent, his Heart Thought activating. Two Demonic Seeds materialized in the void and instantly imprinted themselves onto the brothers’ foreheads.

“Uh…”

Wang Ying and Wang Yu froze in place, their once-clear eyes dimming as if they had become unconscious puppets.

After a long moment, they snapped out of their trance, their eyes regaining their clarity, but their demeanor had become unusually respectful.

“Greetings, Brother Lin.”

As cultivators in the Foundation Establishment Realm, they had no resistance to the Demonic Seed and were instantly brought under Xu Sanyan’s control.

Xu Sanyan lacked capable subordinates and urgently needed someone to carry out his plans. The Wang brothers were the perfect candidates.

“Do you know the First Madam’s cultivation level?”

The brothers exchanged hesitant glances before replying, “It’s likely either the Dao Seeking Realm or the Soul Refining Realm. The First Madam has never shown her full power, so we can’t be certain.”

Xu Sanyan frowned. He had intended to control the First Madam with the Demonic Seed, but now it seemed he needed to proceed more cautiously. He instructed Wang Yu,

“Find out the First Madam’s exact cultivation level. Make sure it’s accurate. Also, investigate the other three Madams as well.”

“Yes, sir.”

Turning to Wang Ying, he ordered, “Go to the Chang Family and summon Chang Yulian. Remember, don’t mention that I sent for her. Have her wait outside the city gates, and I’ll meet her there.”

“Yes, sir.”

The brothers turned and departed.

Xu Sanyan tilted his head back and gazed at the sky. His plans were nearly complete. Now it was time to put them into action!
