He started playing with his car keys again, and after hearing this, Qin Mu’s expression wasn’t great either. Her eyes drifted to the car keys in his hand; he really killed her vibe.

When Qin Mu looked up again, Mu Yichen was already holding his car keys and walking away without looking back.
Qin Mu watched his stubborn back and couldn’t help but purse her lips, thinking, you’re huffing with me? I’ll huff right back!
By the time she finished up, it was already past four. Qin Mu checked her watch, tidied up, found her phone and bag, and then got ready to head out.
Suddenly, she remembered something and stopped. She took out her small makeup mirror from her bag, checked her appearance, and then dug out lipstick to apply before heading downstairs.
Thinking he had left, she slowed her steps down the stairs when she saw him sitting on the sofa in the guest area.
He was actually reading a magazine, one that was over a year old, which he’d probably read before. Outdated stuff, and he was into it?
Qin Mu walked down slowly, stood beside him with her hands in the pockets of her trousers. Her coat was slightly pulled back, yet she looked stylish.
Mu Yichen tossed the magazine aside gently, “Can we leave now?”
“Yeah!”
Qin Mu uttered faintly.
He was waiting for her!
He was still so accustomed to waiting for her!
Qin Mu watched him stand up from the sofa; she couldn’t see his face at once. She lifted her eyes absently but couldn’t see clearly due to the light shining on his face.
Later, as they were about to leave, when Qin Mu was locking the door, she still had to stand on tiptoe to reach the zipper above. Mu Yichen stood behind her, casually raised his hand to help her pull it down.
Just like before, he was very familiar with this task!
Qin Mu didn’t thank him, feeling butterflies in her stomach, she turned around, pursed her lips, and walked away.
Mu Yichen followed, and then they each got into a car.
Qin Mu reversed her car out, drove to Xiang Hang, then opened the window to say to Xiang Hang, “Mu is here, don’t follow me, go and keep Lijie company early!”
Xiang Hang smiled without saying a word, considering it as agreement.
Mu Yichen didn’t need to open the window; he knew what Qin Mu said to Xiang Hang, so he slowly followed behind her.
On the road, Qin Mu called Qin Mingzhu, “Where are you guys? I’ll pick them up for dinner with Mu Yichen.”
“Dinner with Mu Yichen? You go yourself. We’ve already left the city!”
“What?”
“Oh! There’s a children’s fun activity in Lin City tomorrow, and Huanhuan wants to go, so Mu Qingxin and I brought the kids along.”
Qin Mu was almost angry enough to have a stomachache, “Such a big thing, and you didn’t discuss it with me? Where did you go?”
“Feng City! You two have dinner; we’ll be back tomorrow night!”
After Qin Mingzhu finished speaking, she hung up while Qin Mu was so annoyed her stomach felt dry. A few minutes later, the car slowly stopped by the roadside.
Everything around was quiet, the trees were bare and there was nothing to look at. Qin Mu got out of the car, crossed her arms, stood leaning against the front, and unconsciously lowered her eyes, feeling a headache.
Mu Yichen’s car stopped behind hers, and after getting out, he walked toward her with long strides, seeing her distressed face, “What’s wrong?”
“Qin Mingzhu and Mu Qingxin took the siblings to Feng City!”
Qin Mu was sulky and felt blocked in her heart, silently vowing never to let that unreliable woman look after her kids again.
Mu Yichen’s sharp eyes were still on her and then he casually said, “Then I’ll cancel!”
Qin Mu didn’t expect him to be so straightforward, she glanced at him, and he was already making a call.
Qin Mu lowered her head again, thinking those siblings really ruined her plan, despite her good intentions, before she turned around to get back in her car.
Mu Yichen suddenly grabbed her, “Helian Hao and Jing Feng are having dinner at the hotel tonight, want to join?”
Qin Mu turned her eyes, in the evening she changed clothes and appeared in the private room that had been booked at the hotel.
Helian Hao and Jing Feng were already inside, and just two minutes after they sat down, the waiter began serving dishes.
Qin Mu sat next to Helian Hao, looking listless. Helian Hao gave her a glance and then looked at Mu Yichen, his eyes showing a definite teasing hint and ended with a helpless smile.
“Why are you so unhappy? Does having dinner with me make you sick?”
