The High Priest of the Yinsai Temple brought a few guards, while Prince Weishi had over a dozen subordinates ready for battle.

Meanwhile, the market guards rushed out to assist the High Priest of the temple, but a patrol unit that happened to be passing by sided with Prince Weishi, raising their weapons against the Yinsai Temple priest’s faction.

Chaos erupted as the two sides clashed, turning the market into a bloody battlefield.

Both sides engaged in a brutal fight within the market, their ferocity turning it into a river of blood.

The two high-level priests fought with all their might, their destructive power astonishing.

Their power swept through the streets like a whirlwind, able to control and wield various weapons. Whether it was stones or anything else, even a pot of water could become a deadly weapon in their hands.

In the blink of an eye, more than twenty corpses lay on the ground.

This scene terrified Stan, who sat paralyzed on the ground, constantly retreating. He curled up in a corner, hugging his head with his hands, still clutching the bone tablet tightly.

A simple act of picking up a seemingly unremarkable bone tablet had plunged him into this nightmare.

The High Priest of the Yinsai Temple showed no signs of weakness and fought with increasing ferocity.

His thunderous voice echoed throughout the street.

“Prince Weishi!”

“This is the God-Descended City, the Xilong family’s God-Descended City, not your Hosen family’s Volcano Kingdom.”

“Was it you who ordered the massacre of the Tito family? What drove you to commit such an unforgivable crime?”

“What was it?”

“What made a noble prince raise a butcher’s knife against the descendants of the great poet?”

“Can you tell me, Your Highness?” the High Priest demanded.

Prince Weishi remained silent, unwilling to explain or respond to the other’s words.

He now only wanted to reclaim the “Final Chapter” that belonged to him.

At this moment, a large group of armed regular troops arrived at the market.

Seeing this, the prince of the Volcano Kingdom retreated, but it was clearly not a defeated withdrawal. Rather, it was a temporary retreat to gather more powerful forces.

The regular army gave chase but was stopped by the High Priest of the Yinsai Temple.

“We can’t catch him.”

“There are more important matters now.”

The High Priest of the Yinsai Temple and the soldiers protected the bewildered Stan, quickly advancing along the main road.

At the same time, the High Priest used his wisdom power to read Stan’s mind, learning everything he wanted to know.

In the administrative mansion beside Yesael’s palace, the governor anxiously waited until the priest arrived before him.

“We found it!”

“You really found it?”

“How did you find it?”

After hearing the entire process, the governor of the God-Descended City looked at the young craftsman with delight, and then at the bone tablet in his hand.

“You’re from the Tito family?”

Stan nodded, not daring to say a word more.

The governor’s eyes glimmered with a mix of awe and apprehension as he gazed at the bone tablet in Stan’s hands. His fingers, which initially moved to touch the tablet, quickly withdrew just before making contact.

He immediately realized that this was not only a supreme treasure left by the great poet but also a source of disaster capable of killing everyone in the God-Descended City.

Keeping such an item in the God-Descended City was like burying a volcano about to erupt beneath the ground.

A palpable tension gripped the governor as the weight of the situation bore down on him.

He couldn’t imagine how far the people from other kingdoms would go in their pursuit of the great poet’s final chapter and the secret to reaching the realm of the gods.

Looking at this young craftsman who inherited the saint’s bloodline, and the final chapter left by the great poet in his hands, the governor’s mind raced through several thoughts before making a decision.

He said to the High Priest of the Yinsai Temple, “Immediately!”

“Send him and the great poet’s final chapter to the Sky Temple to see Her Majesty the Queen right now.”

“Allow no delays.”

He also instructed, “You must protect him well. This is the Tito family’s gift to Her Majesty the Queen.”

“At the same time, it’s also God’s blessing to the Star Luo Kingdom…”

Before he could finish speaking, a huge explosion erupted nearby.

“Boom!”

A terrifying burrowing demon worm tore through the earth, opening its horrifying mouth towards the sky and emitting a wailing sound.

“Woo woo!”

Standing on its head was a familiar figure.

Prince Weishi, who had just left, had returned with incredible speed.

The governor reacted quickly, but his speed was no match for Prince Weishi’s desperate desire to seize the “Final Chapter.”

The moment the governor saw the monster, he blurted out, “Ruhe beast!”

He never imagined that Prince Weishi had brought a Ruhe beast with him, which completely shattered all his plans.

Everyone present changed color upon seeing the burrowing demon worm. Fear and trembling involuntarily crept into their hearts.

Even though the beast was still hundreds of meters away, they couldn’t help but retreat in fear and terror.

It was a fear etched into their bloodline, a side interpretation of the invincible-like power of the beast over hundreds of years.

No one was spared from this terror—be they ordinary citizens, soldiers, or even priests.

Even the High Priest of the Yinsai Temple, who possessed great power, was like an ant before this beast, without any courage to resist or struggle.

Prince Weishi looked towards Yesael’s palace, his gaze cold.

“Mortals, tremble before the mythical beast!”

“If you don’t want to die, then hand over what belongs to me.”

“Hand it over. Now.” Prince Weishi commanded.

The beast roared and pounced towards Yesael’s palace. The streets along its path were crushed into a trench, and the stone buildings on both sides collapsed with just a brush.

Many Trilobite Men who couldn’t escape in time were crushed into a pile of bone fragments and flesh on the main road.

Just as it seemed the beast would attack Yesael’s palace, the sky suddenly darkened.

The bright sunlight seemed to be blocked by something immensely huge, and at the same time, transparent, slender tentacles extended down from high above.

“Whoosh! Whoosh!”

Fierce winds swept across the entire God-Descended City.

Everyone looked up and saw a jellyfish-like giant creature appear in the sky, its huge umbrella-like body covering Yesael’s palace.

The Sky Beast and the Burrowing Demon Worm collided violently, causing the entire God-Descended City to tremble.

“Boom~”

Many unstable buildings in the city instantly collapsed.

The clash between the Volcano Kingdom and the Star Luo Kingdom shook the very foundations of the city, as the powers of sky and earth battled for supremacy.

The voice of Her Majesty the Queen of the Star Luo Kingdom emanated from within the Sky Beast, spreading throughout the God-Descended City.

“Weishi Hosen.”

“Who gave you the courage to act so recklessly in my kingdom?”

The prince of the Volcano Kingdom showed no reverence for the Queen: “Courage?”

“For the secret left by Saint Tito, for the path to the realm of the gods—what is courage compared to that?” Prince Weishi retorted.

“What does any price matter, no matter how great?”

Weishi Hosen roared, driving the Burrowing Demon Worm to challenge the Sky Beast.

For this single bone tablet, they were willing to shatter the balance that had been maintained for hundreds of years.

Even if it meant starting a war.

They would stop at nothing.
