I Can See Through Everything – Chapter 724

Chapter 724: The Stellar Grand Array, One After Another

Lu Qing’s consciousness entered the Sea of Laws. The moment he did, he immediately sensed the Great Dao that corresponded to his Minor Divine Ability, Phantasm.

Back then, the two Minor Divine Abilities Lu Qing had obtained were Great Strength, which belonged to the fleshly body, and Phantasm, which belonged to the divine soul.

And the Great Dao to which Phantasm belonged—was precisely the Dao of Illusion.

As Lu Qing sank into the deepest state of meditation, the jade-like walls of the Jade Transformation Chamber grew silent once more.

…

In the Heaven-Shattering Sword Sect, a white-robed youth stood at the bow of a massive flying vessel, leading a group of exceptionally talented Nascent Soul Realm disciples through the starry void.

“Senior Brother, on this trip to the Gui Xu Secret Realm, did the Sword Master give any specific instructions about what opportunity we’re supposed to seize?” one disciple asked curiously.

“The Sword Master did not specify,” the white-robed youth shook his head. “He only told us to act according to the situation. He said that the Gui Xu Secret Realm is profoundly mysterious—it only appears once every hundred thousand years. During its previous appearances, the major sects and factions only managed to explore the outer regions, never reaching the true core.

“As for those outer regions, I’ll record the known information onto jade slips and distribute them to you later.

“The Sword Master’s command is simple—if we can seize a fortune, we must do so. But if we cannot, we must at least ensure it doesn’t fall into the hands of the Black-and-White Temple or the Netherworld Palace. Understood?”

“Understood!”

The disciples of the Heaven-Shattering Sword Sect responded in unison.

The white-robed youth nodded slightly at their firm replies.

With his hands clasped behind his back, he gazed into the vast expanse of the stars ahead, his heart stirring with unease.

He didn’t know why, but for some reason, this expedition filled him with a vague sense of foreboding.

Moreover, before their departure, the Sword Master’s occasional expressions of deep worry had left him even more unsettled.

For even the Sword Master—a peerless existence beyond the Nascent Soul Realm—had shown concern. What kind of earth-shattering event could possibly trouble someone like that?

And now, as he thought about the upcoming emergence of the Gui Xu Secret Realm and the movements of the many great powers, the white-robed youth couldn’t shake the feeling that a storm was brewing.

The massive flying vessel glided silently at great speed through the void, heading toward the Sea of Annihilation, where the Gui Xu Secret Realm was said to appear.

Although every disciple on board was a formidable Nascent Soul cultivator—none below the fifth tribulation—and all were capable of Spatial Transference, such divine abilities were still insignificant in the face of the boundless stars.

Hence, even the white-robed youth, with his cultivation, relied on the flying vessel for long-distance travel. Spatial techniques were reserved for emergencies.

The journey was long. By the time the Heaven-Shattering Sword Sect’s group arrived, two full years had already passed.

“So this is the Sea of Annihilation?”

Standing at the bow, the disciples looked upon the vast expanse ahead with awe.

The resplendent sea of stars stretched endlessly before them, the most magnificent sight any of them had ever seen.

But beneath its beauty lay deathly silence. Black spatial whirlwinds occasionally appeared between the stars, radiating a sense of lethal danger.

At a single glance, everyone knew—those black spatial whirlwinds were deadly. Once drawn in, even they, as Nascent Soul cultivators, would likely perish.

“The Sea of Annihilation truly lives up to its name,” the white-robed youth murmured as the aura of destruction surged from the void ahead.

“It’s said that these countless stars were moved here from the cosmos by an Daoist of Transcendence, refined into array nodes, and arranged into this forbidden stellar sea of annihilation,” one disciple said reverently, recounting what he had read in the sect’s ancient texts.

The others drew in sharp breaths.
To relocate stars from the heavens and forge them into a Grand Array—that was a feat beyond imagination.

The Daoist of Transcendence was indeed a terrifying existence.

No wonder even the strongest factions dared not break into the Sea of Annihilation by force. They could only wait for the Gui Xu Secret Realm to appear on its own.

After all, the Daoist’s power was beyond mortal comprehension—no one dared to defy such might.

“Hahaha… Yu Jian, so it really is you leading your sect’s team. I knew it! The Heaven-Shattering Sword Sect’s first disciple himself—how delightful!”

A loud laugh, carried by divine soul transmission, echoed through the stars.

A black streak of light flashed in the distance and stopped before them, revealing a dark flying vessel. Upon it stood figures clad in black robes and masks—each unique and eerie.

The one at the front wore a completely black mask, with only two narrow slits for the eyes.

“It’s the Netherworld Palace!” someone from the Heaven-Shattering Sword Sect whispered warily.

The disciples tensed. The Heaven-Shattering Sword Sect and Netherworld Palace were notorious rivals—and these masked killers were infamous for their ruthlessness.

The white-robed youth, however, remained calm. “Hei Ming, don’t call me ‘brother.’ You and I are not that close.”

“Still so cold, Yu Jian.”
The masked man, Hei Ming, shook his head. “I told you before—whatever enmity our sects hold doesn’t affect the debt I owe you. You saved my life once. That kindness won’t be forgotten.”

“That was before I knew who you really were. Had I known you were the Netherworld Palace’s Young Lord, I’d have let that killing formation devour you without hesitation,” Yu Jian said indifferently.

The disciples on both sides exchanged surprised looks.
They hadn’t expected their leaders to know each other—and to share such a tangled past.

“Regardless, I still owe you my life,” Hei Ming replied evenly. “So I have a proposal. Why don’t our sects join forces to explore the Gui Xu Secret Realm together? Whatever treasures we obtain, we split sixty-forty—you take the larger share, and you get first pick.”

Yu Jian’s eyes narrowed. “Sixty-forty, is it? Can you even speak for your entire Palace?”

“Of course,” Hei Ming said calmly. “For this operation, I have full authority.”

The black-robed figures behind him stood silently, confirming his words.

“Unfortunately, I don’t trust you,” Yu Jian sneered. “To cooperate with you would be the same as bargaining with a venomous beast. The moment we find a treasure, you’d strike us in the back.”

Hei Ming sighed softly. “Yu Jian, must you always—”

Before he could finish, another booming laugh cut through the void.

“Hei Ming, since he’s turned you down, why not ally with us instead? Our Black-and-White Temple has far more interesting terms!”

A stream of black-and-white light shot through the stars, revealing a vessel half dark and half pale. On it stood several cultivators in black-and-white Daoist robes.

At their front was a burly man, bare-chested despite his robe, with a string of shrunken skulls hanging around his neck. His very presence radiated savagery.

“The Black-and-White Temple!” someone gasped.

If the Netherworld Palace was feared, the Black-and-White Temple was loathed. Their cultivators were madmen—murderers who killed for pleasure.

While the Netherworld Palace at least had rules—never killing without commission or reward—the Black-and-White Temple had none. If one offended them in the slightest, death was certain.

And when they killed, it was in the bloodiest ways imaginable.

“Mo Tushan,” Yu Jian said coldly, his aura sharpening like a blade. His gaze fell on the string of baby skulls around the man’s neck, and his killing intent flared. The rumors were true—those were the skulls of infants, refined into a grisly necklace.

“What’s wrong, Yu Jian?” Mo Tushan grinned wickedly. “Do you want to fight me?”

“‘Fight you’? Slaughtering filth like you would be a mercy,” Yu Jian replied icily.

“Hah! Then do it! Let’s see if your Heaven-Shattering Sword Sect’s ‘righteous sword’ can pierce me today!”

Yu Jian’s sword intent erupted like a storm, but before he could strike, a sweet, lilting voice filled the void.

“Fufufu~ all these handsome brothers gathered here so quickly… and not one of you waited for me?”

The voice dripped with charm, tugging at the hearts of everyone present. A pink beam of light appeared, revealing a rosy flying vessel.

On its deck stood a group of impossibly beautiful men and women, their auras filled with seductive energy.

At their front was a barefoot woman draped in a gauzy peach-colored veil. Every movement, every smile of hers exuded allure so powerful that even these Nascent Soul experts felt their hearts waver.

For a moment, many nearly lost themselves—kneeling before her, offering their will and body alike.

Fortunately, their powerful cultivation allowed them to recover quickly, suppressing their impulses. Still, cold sweat ran down several foreheads.

With her arrival, Yu Jian and Mo Tushan’s confrontation naturally ceased.

For everyone recognized the newcomer—the Holy Maiden of the Enchantress Pavilion, Tao Fairy.

The Enchantress Pavilion’s techniques were infamous for their ability to control hearts and minds without a sound.

“Brothers,” Tao Fairy said sweetly, “the Gui Xu Secret Realm hasn’t even appeared yet, and already you’re ready to fight? What if your clash disturbs the Sea of Annihilation’s Grand Array? If tempers must be eased, why not allow me to host a banquet? We can share wine and laughter instead of bloodshed.”

Her voice wound around their hearts like silk, soothing and seductive. Even Yu Jian felt his killing intent fade.

As for Mo Tushan, his eyes gleamed with naked lust as he stared at her exposed skin.
“Hahaha! If the fairy herself is inviting, how could I refuse? Name the time, and I’ll be there first!”

“Indeed,” Hei Ming added with a small smile. “It would be my honor.”

“Your kindness is appreciated,” Yu Jian said coolly, “but my Heaven-Shattering Sword Sect walks alone. We will not attend.”

“Hmph, what a hypocrite,” Mo Tushan spat. “Typical of your so-called righteous sects.”

“Senior Brother Yu Jian truly lives up to his reputation,” came another voice—calm, clear, and like jade.

A green light flew in from the distance, revealing a vessel of pure bamboo, carrying a group of cultivators whose very presence radiated clarity.

At their front stood a young woman in a simple azure dress, her beauty ethereal and untainted.

“The Kongming Sect has arrived as well,” someone murmured as all turned to look.
