Chapter 441: Report
Outside the Netherfire Hall in the Immortal Realm.
The immortal palace had collapsed, leaving broken walls and ruins scattered everywhere. Occasional explosions echoed through the air—residual effects of the battles fought among immortals during the civil war nine thousand years ago.
Many immortals were killed before they could even cast their spells. These lingering spells have persisted until now, detonating intermittently.
Countless Earthly Immortal-level monsters roamed outside, roaring meaningless sounds that sometimes resembled weeping, other times laughter.
The Immortal Realm was not inhabited by immortals alone. Originally, mortals made up the largest population—from Qi Refining Stage to Tribulation Transcendence Stage.
Although immortals were numerous, the Immortal Domain was vast. Spread out, immortals were actually quite few. Earthly Immortals were extremely rare beings in the Immortal Realm, able to swagger and act recklessly.
However, after the Heavenly Dao gained sentience nine thousand years ago, all mortals perished. Earthly Immortals fell into confusion, devoured each other, and mutated into incomprehensible monsters of various forms.
The once lofty Earthly Immortals now differed little from beasts.
Earthly Immortals did not require food or survival needs. Their meaningless activities made them appear even more pitiful and ridiculous.
Suddenly, the Earthly Immortal monsters sensed danger and scattered. Some slower ones were crushed underfoot by the newcomers.
“Annoying monsters, they really dirty my shoes,” the Executor of Honghu glanced disdainfully at the Earthly Immortal monster crushed beneath his foot.
“Executor of Honghu, what are you doing!” the Executor of Karma grew slightly angry; the crushed monster was under his jurisdiction.
“Executor of Karma, mind your subordinates. Just because they come out to scavenge doesn’t mean they can block my way,” Executor of Honghu sneered, ignoring the other’s anger.
The other Executors were used to Executor of Honghu’s behavior; they often killed a few Earthly Immortal monsters for fun.
Now, Earthly Immortal monsters were the lowest existence in the Immortal Realm. If they didn’t vent on these monsters, who else could they?
Moreover, once Earthly Immortal monsters turned into monsters, their souls dissipated. What remained was just rotting flesh—walking corpses.
Originally, Earthly Immortals could resist Celestial Immortals without fear, but now they could not use immortal spells or divine powers, only retaining strong physical bodies. Naturally, they were easily controlled by Celestial Immortals.
“Do you still call yourself a cultivator of the righteous path?”
“Righteous path? I used to save people to earn merit points. Now, saving people gives no merit; killing people does. So why bother distinguishing between the righteous and the demonic paths?” Executor of Honghu did not expect Executor of Karma to ask such a foolish question, despite him being a Bai Ze.
“The righteous path seeks peace of mind. How can it be about pursuing merit points?”
Executor of Honghu lazily said, “Peace of mind? I have peace of mind now, so I’m still righteous.”
The immortal bell rang, signaling meeting time. Dozens of Celestial Immortals gathered at the Netherfire Hall. Executor of Karma and Executor of Honghu ceased their quarrel.
In front of the Netherfire Hall stood a massive statue of the Divine Vault Sovereign. The Celestial Immortals bowed.
“Respect to the Divine Vault Sovereign, respect to the Netherfire Immortal Lord.”
The Netherfire Immortal Lord appeared at the feet of the statue and bowed to the Divine Vault Sovereign as well.
“Come in.”
The Netherfire Immortal Lord tossed out a phrase and entered the immortal palace. In his presence, the Celestial Immortals dared not even breathe heavily, silently following inside.
The Netherfire Immortal Lord was an untouchable Golden Immortal.
Inside the palace, the Netherfire Immortal Lord lay lazily on a ball of pitch-black flames. The Celestial Immortals knelt on the ground, not daring to slack off for a moment.
“Report on your progress in destroying worlds.”
“Reporting to the Immortal Lord, I am responsible for nine thousand four hundred worlds. So far, six thousand one hundred and twenty have been completely destroyed. Three thousand two hundred and eighty are currently being destroyed, with three thousand to be completely destroyed within a century.”
“Good work, next.”
“Reporting to the Immortal Lord, out of the ten thousand and twelve worlds I am responsible for, more than nine thousand have been completely destroyed, and over nine hundred are being destroyed.” That Celestial Immortal was secretly proud; his number of destroyed worlds ranked near the top.
“More than nine thousand? Exactly how many?” the Netherfire Immortal Lord asked calmly.
That Celestial Immortal broke out in a cold sweat and suddenly kowtowed, “I will recount carefully immediately, Immortal Lord.”
“No need to rush. Recount after the meeting and report back to me once you have the results.”
“Yes.”
“Reporting to the Immortal Lord, out of the eight thousand two hundred worlds I am responsible for, two thousand three hundred and nine have been completely destroyed, and the rest are being destroyed,” Executor of Karma respectfully reported.
“Haha, Karma, what’s going on? Only this many worlds completely destroyed? Is that acceptable? If not, give me the worlds not destroyed yet. I guarantee, within three hundred years, I will completely destroy half of them.” Executor of Honghu laughed heartily, finding Executor of Karma’s results laughably poor.
The other Celestial Immortals were also chuckling secretly, wondering where Executor of Karma got the nerve. If it were them, they wouldn’t dare claim such results.
“Right, I just remembered. Is it because the worlds you’re responsible for include the strongest Nine Provinces World?”
“The Nine Provinces World is something else. It has over twenty Tribulation Transcendence Stage cultivators. Destroying it must be very difficult,” Executor of Honghu mocked.
Executor of Karma feigned ignorance of the sarcasm, “The Nine Provinces World is indeed hard to destroy. Executor of Honghu, if you are interested, I can give you the Nine Provinces World. It would also let me see your methods.”
“Really?” Executor of Honghu was tempted. If he destroyed the Nine Provinces World, when the Heavenly Dao assessed merits, this one world would earn him a lot of points.
Executor of Karma sneered, “If you have the ability, go ahead and try. Let’s see if you come back alive. I’ve even prepared a death reason for you.”

This was the Netherfire Immortal Lord’s main concern.
Executor of Karma dared not reveal the truth, “No.”
“Good. I trust you with this task. You are the calmest among Celestial Immortals. It doesn’t matter if the number of destroyed worlds is low; we still have plenty of time. Don’t be like that fool Bai Ye Immortal, rushing recklessly to destroy worlds, causing an embryonic Heavenly Dao to appear in one of his worlds.”
“He tried to cover it up. If I hadn’t randomly inspected, it would have been concealed and caused a great disaster. Fortunately, we discovered it in time. The Celestial Immortals were shocked. They didn’t expect Executor of Karma to have silently become a half-step Golden Immortal.
“Thank you for your grace, Immortal Lord.”
