The two firm desires—Greed for Knowledge and Pride in the Path—were Ace’s most fundamental Will. The moment he extracted these two wills, other desires vanished.
The two desires intertwined, collided fiercely, and sparks flew, finally winding into a raging, strange flame.
“Greed and Arrogance, truly beautiful flames.”
Ace’s True Spirit held this flame high. The flame gradually turned into phantom images of burning books and a path. This flame was his Will. The True Spirit threw the flame out of the soul sanctuary, landing it on the surging Blood Qi in his chest. Instantly, the flame burned.
A miraculous reaction occurred between the tinder of Will and the Blood Qi. Ace’s Mind Fire—his Heart Fire—was born.
“Then, the next step is to replace the fuel of the Heart Fire with Foreign Mana!”
Ace used his Mental Power to guide the Heart Fire, slowly leading it into the Mental Sanctuary Space. This was the world of the True-Illusion Dream, which also contained Ace’s vigorous vitality.
Blood Qi flooded into the True-Illusion Dream. A torrential rain of blood fell in the entire dream world, almost submerging all the land. The downpour lasted for a long time, and the Blood Qi surged. A flame that seemed capable of calcining everything, with phantom images of books and a path, floated above the ocean of Blood Qi.
