Chapter 338: The Third Possibility

This time, Ace chose to stay in the Pocket World for a while. He could already sense the difference between himself here and in the Prime Material Plane.

Every flower and leaf felt incredibly real. In the Pocket World, Ace had no issues with his speech or perception. He spoke in a thoughtful tone:

“This kind of precognition from the River of Fate feels incredibly real in the Pocket World, but in the Prime Material Plane, it’s always like looking at flowers through fog.

“Is it because I’m close to having complete control over the Pocket World? In the Prime Material Plane, forget about control—I haven’t even touched the surface of its rules.

“Perhaps I can try some terrifying ideas.”

As Ace’s words fell, the entire Pocket World seemed to shake violently. The reserve origin power of the Pocket World was nearly exhausted, but there was still a massive amount of origin power supporting the world’s operation that Ace hadn’t consumed!

“What if I disregard the survival of the Pocket World and forcibly devour all of its World Origin?”

Ace’s eyes flashed with an extremely cold light. He stood in the center of the Pocket World, raising both hands high. As the thought crossed his mind, the entire world struggled, but it was powerless to resist him, its supreme ruler.

Boom!

The humans and even ordinary creatures of the Pocket World seemed to sense the arrival of doomsday. They ran in panic, cursing helplessly.

At this moment, the human racial aura betrayed Ace—or rather, Ace betrayed the human race of the Pocket World. In this instant, they became mortal enemies.

The six elemental rings floated up from behind Ace, expanding rapidly. Giving the human racial aura no chance to resist, the rings swept across the Eastern and Western Continents in a single instant. An elemental storm composed of six elements wiped out almost every living creature on the continents.

The human racial aura vanished before it could even act. Countless black vapors of sin emerged. The human racial aura, reduced to its final resentment, merged with the black vapors of sin and attacked Ace.

“Since I chose to destroy the entire world, how could I let other life exist? I, the Outer God Ace, am the source of all sin, the King of World Destruction. All sins return to me!

“Since there is sin, there must be fire. Let the raging fire burn away this sin!”

Boom!

The glazed Heart Fire within Ace’s Mental Imagery World expanded instantly. Ace transformed entirely into fire. The glazed Heart Fire, carrying terrifying burning power, chased down the endless black vapors of sin, completely eradicating them in just three months.

“So-called sin, so-called evil—it’s all relative. If one has enough power, ten thousand sins cannot touch my body. Since this is world destruction, I shall become the Doomsday Fire, burning this world and severing this realm.”

His words became law. The entire world was controlled by the order formed from Ace’s Law of Command. At this moment, the world couldn’t resist; it could only stretch out its neck and wait for the slaughter.

The monstrous fire, vast as an ocean, spread rapidly inside the Pocket World. This fire, which the former World’s Subconscious had exhausted all its efforts to deduce, had now become the source of the world’s destruction.

In the Pocket World, the fire burned everything. Nothing was spared—even the rules were burned by it, reverting to their original state and becoming blood-stained origin power.

Refining a world was a long process. It took Ace nearly thirty years to finally refine the entire surface layer of the Pocket World. The reason it took so long was to remove the bloodstain from the origin power.

Ace devoured and absorbed the pure, colorless origin power. His mental and physical strength climbed rapidly, almost instantly rising above 500 units.

Feeling the massive boost in his body and mind, Ace pushed on, burning the entire inner layer of the world back into origin. His mental strength rose to 800 unit, and his physical strength to 700 unit.

“Even at the level of a Great Hero, I belong to the relatively powerful tier. Add to that the Mental Imagery World, which only peak Great Heroes possess, and I think I can compete with a Golden Hero.”

Feeling a bit stuffed, Ace absorbed his clone into his main body. With a surge of confidence, he quickly left the soon-to-be-destroyed Pocket World. This time, he would definitely find the perfect ending!

Returning to the Prime Material Plane, Ace clearly felt the difference. His perception had increased significantly, and he could even express some simple words.

“Is it because my mental and physical strength increased? Could the Strong Observer Hypothesis be valid in this world?”

For a moment, several thoughts tumbled through Ace’s mind.

Daina and the others quickly rushed to the West Tower to see Ace.

Everyone tried to speak at once, but Ace stopped them with a wave of his hand.

“No need to say more. I already know the situation. Daina, take people immediately to the northern mining area to set up magic traps. Caruso, you are responsible for contacting the regional Magic Councils across the entire Salia region; ensure the information is accurate.

“Arno, go south to Mt. Baal to support Ancestar. Betty, you are in charge of upgrading and modifying the Magic Ships. Organize personnel to transport our people to the various regional Magic Councils in Salia and the city-states on the New and Old Continents first. Prioritize the evacuation of the population.

“The rest of you, hold the fort here!

“Even if the High Tower is destroyed, as long as Wizards still exist and grimore still exist, the Magic Council organization will exist!

“As long as the fireseed remains, the High Tower will eventually be revived!”

After assigning tasks to everyone, Ace looked at Daina with a complex expression. “After setting up the traps, you and Betty will coordinate the evacuation together.”

Daina, not understanding the reason, smiled faintly and said, “I obey your will, Teacher Ace.”

Ace moved quickly, traveling rapidly to the northern part of the Larr Mountains to preemptively attack the invading Punishers.

“If I had known, I should have deduced a spatial teleportation spell in the Pocket World before destroying it. Flying at subsonic speeds is still too slow!”

Ace muttered to himself, somewhat annoyed. Since his physical strength increased to over 700 units, both his speed and spatial range when flying using basic wind elements had greatly improved.

Not only that, but Ace had promoted the relevant transformation runes for Shadowification and Dreamification, successfully achieving Elementalization. He could now transform his body into any of the four elements: earth, fire, wind, or water.

Ace was extremely patient this time. He observed the female craftsman with the strange items and miraculous effects for a long time. She was unique among the Punishers—the only one not wearing a black robe.

Everyone else called her the Descendant of the God of Craftsmanship, Aleias.

Late at night, Ace used three spells—Invisibility, Concealment, and Shadowification—and had his cowlick activate its rule-like shielding ability, successfully getting close to Aleias.

He brushed Aleias with the 3-Ring Spell “Elemental Disjunction” five times in a row. After successfully disarming her, the shadows swallowed her and the strange bow and arrow, disappearing rapidly.

Karim was furious. He hadn’t expected such a thing to happen right under his nose. He wanted to give chase but feared a night attack, leaving him in a dilemma.

Ace’s idea was clear: he wanted to obtain more intelligence. This Aleias couldn’t simply be killed; he had to maximize her value in this exploration of fate’s possibilities.
