Chapter 447: Primal Fire

The sun and the moon were undoubtedly the two most important celestial bodies in the World of Kaya, aside from the Earth core. Like the Earth core, each was associated with a great Titan Ancient God.

Ace keenly perceived that if he wanted to refine the “Sun” of his dream world into a Noble Phantasm, it would undoubtedly establish a mysterious connection with the real sun of Kaya. To refine the Noble Phantasm well enough, the best way was to harvest the Primal Fire of the sun.

This was very difficult. Even having achieved Level 3 and becoming a powerful existence comparable to a Legendary Hero, Ace still could not approach the sun or the moon. That was the taboo of the great Titan Main Gods.

“If I don’t use the sun’s Primal Fire and the moon’s Primal Essence, I can only absorb the flowing light radiated by the sun and the moonlight radiated by the moon. This is essentially a kind of mana radiation. I’m afraid that although the Sun Noble Phantasm and Moon Noble Phantasm created this way would be tyrannical in power, they absolutely cannot compare to those made with Primal Fire and Primal Essence.”

Ace’s True Spirit pondered for a while and stopped the refinement of the Noble Phantasm. He slowly extracted the aura of the Great Source from the sun and moon of the dream world, lingering at his fingertips, condensing into a fingernail-sized wisp of Great Source Essence.

“Rather than refining Sun and Moon Noble Phantasms that aren’t the strongest, it is better to choose a group of stars unrelated to Deities and harvest their Stellar Essence. The Noble Phantasm refined this way will inevitably be more powerful.”

Inside the West Tower, Ace opened his eyes. With a flash, he appeared in the sky above Nightlight City. It was around eleven o’clock at night. Tonight, clouds and mist swirled, and no stars could be seen.

Ace didn’t mind. His magic robe flapped loudly in the wind. The Blink Teleportation spell was activated, passing through the thick cloud layer and appearing in the sky above the clouds.

The air here was obviously thin, about four thousand meters from the ground (Earth core). Ace’s Eye of Truth flickered. At the same time, a telescope-style magic crystal structure was also being constructed. He hovered quietly here, observing the stars outside the Earth core.

According to the Law of Universal Gravitation and the Three Laws of Motion, Ace easily calculated the elliptical orbits of the stars and located a group of stars.

Observed from the ground, it was a star group located in the center of the southern sky. According to the description of old astrology, it was the “Calamity Sword Constellation,” composed of thirteen stars. Ominous stars gathered there, governing calamity, hardship, and misfortune.

Ace’s eyes revealed excitement. He observed the “Calamity Sword Constellation” carefully: three stars represented the sword hilt, three stars represented the guard, and seven stars represented the blade.

Ace activated the spell Dimensional Mastery, constructing a closed Sub-space Barrier for himself. Then, using Ultra-Long Distance Teleportation, following the calculated positioning and correcting the data several times, he successfully arrived at the “Calamity Sword Constellation” star group after nearly an hour of continuous jumping.

Here, Ace clearly perceived the difference between the supernatural world and his past life. Undoubtedly, these scorching, massive fireballs should be the stars (suns) of his past life.

But unlike stars, although these thirteen stars emitted light and heat, and although they were circular fireballs as a whole, their individual sizes were much smaller.

Although compared to Ace, they were like humans to ants, such small “stars” were still vastly different from his past life.

Besides that, Ace could feel very dense and intense mana—very distinct mana.

“This kind of mana seems very similar to the kind invoked by Betty’s father, Leon, but even more extreme: Calamity, Ominousness, and Slaughter.”

Ace perceived with a solemn expression. Thanks to the Sub-space Barrier, he wasn’t burned to dregs by the thirteen scorching stars. This kind of mana was also the biggest difference from his past life; the stars seemed to genuinely represent certain domains.

“This feeling… if someone could truly unify these thirteen stars and completely refine the Calamity Sword Constellation, they might not necessarily fail to become a Deity!

“Calamity, Ominousness, and Slaughter… perhaps a traditional divine domain can be condensed from this.”

Inside the Sub-space Barrier, Ace looked up at the boundless stars beside him and sighed solemnly.

As a Level 3 existence, Ace could call himself a Legendary Wizard. His body and soul had become inhuman to a certain extent, able to exist for a long time in a vacuum and survive in the Outer World.

But coming into close contact with the stars, Ace felt that he was still too small. Legends said that every star nurtured a Deity. In ancient times, many Titan Main Gods, Main Gods, and ordinary Deities were born from stars. Even in recent times, there were legends of stars giving birth to Demigods.

“These thirteen great stars, each one is equivalent to a Demigod. If unified, that would be a True God. Fortunately, I didn’t continue to create the Starry Universe Noble Phantasm; otherwise, I’m afraid I would have alarmed all the stars closely related to Deities, bringing immeasurable disaster.

“Even if constructing a Mechanics Noble Phantasm, I can only construct a Universal Gravitation Noble Phantasm and must not touch the stars that have birthed Deities.”

Ace murmured with some lingering fear. He gradually had an idea for his Noble Phantasm: construct a Quasi-Rule Noble Phantasm based on Universal Gravitation and the Three Laws of Motion, and use the Primal Fire of the thirteen stars of the “Calamity Sword Constellation” as the base to create a Celestial Noble Phantasm.

“Current resources are insufficient to create a Quasi-Rule Noble Phantasm. Such a Noble Phantasm is too powerful; it must be at the peak of Legend or even capable of slaying a Demigod. I will construct a Celestial Noble Phantasm first, then accumulate resources slowly.”

Ace’s eyes flickered. He needed to obtain more resources. Neither the gift of the Great Source aura nor the Power of Status of the City-State was enough for him to construct the Gravity Noble Phantasm. He needed to find a great existence; perhaps he could obtain an opportunity from it.

Ace recalled the scene when he advanced to Level 1. On the verge of physical collapse, thanks to that stern great existence, he obtained precious Life Source and a large amount of Void Solute, stabilizing his Level 1 state.

“That existence came to the World of Kaya from outside. He must have a way to go to other worlds. Perhaps…”

Ace pondered the possibility of obtaining future resources for a while, then smiled bitterly: “I don’t even know where that existence is. Let’s not think about these things for now.”

He stared at the magnificent stars in front of him and slowly extended his hands. Glazed Heart Fire emerged. As the fire formed from the fusion of Ace’s desires and blood energy, it naturally advanced to a Mystery Level 3 magical item after he advanced to Level 3. It could be said that this Heart Fire itself was an extremely powerful Noble Phantasm.

Using the Glazed Heart Fire as a bridge, Ace achieved communication with the stars in front of him, penetrating deep into the core of the stars day by day to extract the Primal Fire within.

That fire was the essence of the star and the source of its vitality. Even as a Legendary existence, Ace himself dared not go deep into the star’s core. The temperature there was too high; even a Level 3 Life could not survive there.

What was more terrifying was that it contained extremely violent mana, which would turn Ace’s True Spirit into ashes.

Therefore, Ace chose to use the Glazed Heart Fire as a bridge, piercing deep into the star core like a needle to extract the Primal Fire.
