Chapter 480: The Shelter

“In case some irresistible disaster really happens in the Inner World, we can also take refuge here. Usually, it can also serve as the High Tower’s secret warehouse and base.”

Ace became more satisfied the more he looked. He activated the 5-Ring Spell “Dimensional Grasp” from the deep layers of his mental imagery world. The mana in the Sea of Reality and Illusion was mobilized by him, actually forming a mana vortex. The mana vortex grew larger and larger. At the same time, “Dimensional Grasp” formed runes one by one, gradually wrapping the mana vortex.

Ace looked focused, holding his hands high and slowly approaching the mana vortex. More and more runes wrapped the vortex, forming a Rune Spell Orb. Ace held the spell orb high and threw it forcefully into the void.

Boom!

The violent spatial explosion made him extremely bedraggled. The creation of the alien dimension failed. This place turned into a terrifying Spatial Rift Turbulence Zone. There were spatial cracks everywhere; a moment of carelessness would result in being swept to an unknown spatial location.

“It seems too much mana was gathered. This thing is quite dangerous; it seems to have formed some kind of permanent natural phenomenon.”

Ace rubbed his nose, seeming to think of something, and his eyes lit up.

He tried a few more times and gradually found the method to manufacture Spatial Rift Turbulence Zones.

“I’ll use rift turbulence to cover the periphery of this area, making it difficult for outsiders to enter, serving as the first defensive barrier.”

Ace stood in the void, looking at the dangerous rift turbulence with an excited expression.

In the following period, he continuously manufactured Spatial Rift Turbulence. In the blink of an eye, three months passed. The periphery of this vicinity was full of terrible spatial turbulence. Ace also lived in this void for nearly three months. He observed the surrounding spatial turbulence with the “Eye of True Knowledge” with great satisfaction, nodding continuously.

“Even an ordinary Legend probably wouldn’t want to approach this kind of spatial turbulence zone. Amidst the large area of turbulence, I’ll create another string of Dimension Mazes. I guarantee anyone who comes will regret it deeply.”

After more than three months of spellcasting training, Ace could use the 5-Ring Spell “Dimensional Grasp” very proficiently. His hands glowed slightly, and a compact high-energy mana vortex condensed in his hands. Runes wrapped the mana vortex into a Rune Spell Orb, and then Ace threw it gently.

The void seemed to vibrate slightly. A unique spatial fluctuation began to ripple. The spell orb collapsed violently, then expanded, and an alien dimension slowly formed.

This was just an empty shell of an alien dimension, desolate inside. If one wanted to endow it with characteristics, it was best to inject matter into it.

Ace didn’t mind and continued constructing. Occasionally, he injected water based on the Phlogiston Theory, earth with three characteristics, air, etc., into it. Sometimes he injected pure vitality, death, or shadow.

In a flash, nearly half a year passed. Ace had manufactured nearly ten thousand small alien dimensions of various shapes. He had accumulated extremely rich experience in manufacturing alien dimensions, whether it was an alien dimension the size of a grain of rice, a small space like a giant island, an extremely unstable alien dimension, or a super-stable space with added protection.

Today, Ace was constructing the shelter in his plan. Ace called it the “High Tower Shelter.”

“The entire shelter is divided into three parts. The outermost layers of Spatial Rift Turbulence Zones have been formed. The Dimension Maze within the turbulence zone has also been preliminarily constructed; this is also the future defense zone. What needs to be constructed now is the main body of the shelter—a real space where wizards can live!”

The white light in Ace’s eyes shone brightly. The alien dimension he wanted to construct was not an ordinary one, but a shelter that truly allowed wizards to live in it. He gradually had a plan in his heart.

“First, there must be a large enough internal space and a sufficiently sturdy external Spatial Crystal Wall.”

While thinking, Ace manifested what he had prepared long ago. It was a huge mass of Void Solute, with Level 3 Mystery. It was the harvest Ace gained by killing a Legendary Void Worm that intruded into the Spatial Rift Turbulence Zone with a one-hit kill using the “Calamity Sword” formed by thirteen Star Noble Phantasms.

That Legendary Void Worm was nearly three thousand meters long, majestic as a mountain range. When Ace saw it, he didn’t hesitate at all. He instantly manifested thirteen Star Noble Phantasms, raised his strength to Eternal Epic, and unleashed his strongest strike. Slaughter, calamity, ominousness—with one sword strike, starlight exploded, space shattered, and the Legendary Void Worm burst, forming a larger range of spatial turbulence and leaving behind this large mass of Level 3 Void Solute.

“Thanks to this clumsy guy. If it hadn’t dived in headfirst, I don’t think it would have been so easy to find a Level 3 Void Creature.”

As Ace spoke, his mind sank into the mental imagery world. In the surface layer of his mental imagery world, the space near the Earth Center was real and true, and the shelter he wanted to construct was also based on this architecture.

Hundreds of mana vortexes emerged, surrounding the Void Solute and slowly approaching. Ace slowly mobilized the surrounding mana. Behind him, Level 3 Star Magic Stones manifested one by one, shining brightly.

In the entire void environment, mana began to ripple, and space fluctuated constantly. Runes emerged quietly—ten, a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand—crystal clear. Under Ace’s manipulation, they slowly formed widely different spell models.

As a Legendary Wizard, Ace, who would never sweat, actually had drops of “sweat” running down his forehead. He waved his hands forcefully.

Hundreds of mana vortexes and thousands of Star Magic Stones surged towards the Level 3 Void Solute in the middle together. Suddenly receiving so much mana, the Void Solute changed from a transparent color to being multicolored, reflecting a colorful patch across the entire void.

Rune structures also surged up, clinging to the Void Solute, condensing it into a multicolored sphere.

Ace’s figure approached slowly, gradually touching the multicolored sphere with his hand. His eyes burst with pure white light. Mana surged, and countless rune structures were inscribed into the Void Solute. The Void Solute gradually liquefied and boiled.

Because it was wrapped by rune structures, it did not spill over.

Ace’s silver hair stood on end, and the white light in his eyes grew more intense. Mana was like waves; though turbulent, it had a rhythm. Under the tidal rise and fall of mana, this multicolored sphere expanded bit by bit. Time was also slowly passing. In the blink of an eye, nearly another month passed. The sphere had almost occupied all the surrounding space.

Ace suddenly shouted loudly. The sphere shrank abruptly, actually turning into a multicolored crystal ball only as tall as a person. Ace’s figure tipped into it, slowly sinking inside, disappearing without a trace.

This was a hazy, gelatinous space. It turned out the space of the shelter had been successfully opened. Its breadth was actually larger than the entire Thoth City-State.

Ace stepped into it. The entire space was cheering and jumping for joy, like children to parents. That somewhat immature and ignorant Space Will was congratulating its father.
