Chapter 513: Righteous Man

Looking down from above, Ace, expressionless, leaped down lightly. The Heart Fire gathered in his right hand. With a palm strike piercing the heart, he punched through the heart of one of the organization members, who clearly wouldn’t survive.

Immediately following up with a spinning back kick, he sent the two beside him flying. The two survivors instantly lost their combat capability, lying on the ground unable to move.

Ace picked up a dagger. A jackdaw of the night flew by, cawing. He raised the dagger high and stabbed down forcefully.

Early the next morning, Old Pete, who got up early to carry manure, pushed his manure cart into the alley. Surprisingly, he saw the few active members and the young man lying on the ground, the ground covered in dark red blood.

“Murder! Another murder…”

…

Bang!

In the West Alley of the Old Street, a burly man smashed a hole in the table angrily. He looked around at the dozen or so people, all strong northern barbarians.

They pressed an old man to kneel on the ground. The old man was trembling; it was none other than the manure-carrying Pete.

“The reason why our Maine Gang can gain a foothold in the Old Street is that we are ruthless enough. We dare to kill anyone, and we dare to do any business. That’s why we can monopolize the order here and let the northerners gain a foothold in the Royal Capital.

“But today, someone actually dared to kill our brothers. I, Ring-Eyed Dunn, swear in the name of Big Brother Violent Bear Maine as his sworn brother, I will definitely tear the guy who killed our men into pieces. First, chop off this old thing’s hands and gouge out his eyes. Let’s see who else dares to disrespect us.”

Pete, who had long been paralyzed on the ground, struggled and shouted: “I didn’t offend the Maine Gang! I didn’t offend anyone! I’m innocent! Don’t chop off my hands! Don’t gouge…” Ah!

Before he could finish, his eyes were gouged out alive. Northern barbarians were just that crude and decisive.

Miserable screams rang out in the courtyard. Passers-by nearby walked away quickly. Ace, wearing a cloak, had bright eyes. Resting in the shadows, his pupils suddenly constricted slightly, his breathing becoming rapid for an instant.

It turned out that Old Pete, with his hands severed and eyes gouged out, had been thrown out. His eyes were tightly closed, and his hands were gone. Two lines of blood tears flowed out. He tried to cover his face with his handless arms, resulting in more blood flowing.

A barbarian walked out and shouted loudly: “Scum who hurts people in the dark, our Maine Gang is the sky in the Old Street. No one can escape after killing our people. This old man is a declaration! don’t get caught by me!”

After speaking, he walked back aggressively. Old Pete was still rolling on the ground, and no one dared to step forward to help.

Ace clenched his fists, then relaxed them. His strength during the day was insufficient, and the target would be too obvious if he acted now. He still had to wait until night.

This Maine Gang was indeed too hateful. It just so happened that he was very short of money. Without money, he couldn’t buy those rare treasures full of vitality. If possible, wouldn’t it be better to eliminate this Maine Gang and seize their wealth?

Although thinking this, Ace did not rush to act.

He hadn’t investigated this organization clearly yet. If the people in this organization possessed supernatural powers, it would be very difficult for him to handle.

“It’s also because of me that this old man suffered this undeserved calamity. No, it’s mainly because of this lawless Maine Gang.”

Ace walked out of the shadows. The sunlight made his skin somewhat hot. He wrapped himself tighter and walked towards Old Pete.

Ace could feel the gazes of people peeping in the dark, but he couldn’t let such a pitiful person wail here. Just then, a fragrant breeze hit.

A young girl wearing a long dress different from the style of the Old Street, with her golden hair tied up, ran over like the wind and helped the blood-stained Old Pete up.

Old Pete’s blood instantly stained the girl’s white dress red. The girl didn’t care about the stains on her dress at all. Instead, she supported the old man firmly and comforted him softly.

Ace stopped. He had already noticed several barbarians following. He snorted coldly and hid in the dark.

After a while, Ace stepped on the rubble like a cat. From somewhere, he got a white-faced smiling cat mask and put it on, following the dozen or so people from the Maine Gang.

The girl was still talking to Pete. She looked about fifteen or sixteen years old, with exquisite features, a high and small nose bridge, rosy cherry lips, and fair skin. She was truly a beauty.

The following gang members discussed in low voices.

“This little chick doesn’t look like the person who killed our brothers.”

“Who cares if she looks like it or not? Have you seen such beauty?”

“Hehehe…”

Bang!

The sound of a fist hitting a head rang out. Ring-Eyed Dunn said angrily in a low voice: “Is such beauty something you can think about? Hehehe.. she should be given to Big Brother Maine.”

Several people nodded hurriedly in agreement. A somewhat thin barbarian praised: “Big Brother, you are smart. Giving such a beauty to boss, maybe he will be happy and pass the Berserker cultivation method to you.”

Dunn nodded, then scolded angrily: “What nonsense are you talking about? I’m doing this out of brotherly sincerity. As for whether I can become a Berserker, is it up to you or me to decide?”

While speaking, the girl had already helped Pete walk through two alleys. Just as Dunn and the others were about to chase, they suddenly saw the girl carry Pete on her back, walking as fast as flying anddisappearing in a flash.

Ace, who was following, nodded. This girl seemed not only kind-hearted but also quick-witted. Crouching and hugging the rubble on the roof, he memorized the appearances of those gang members one by one.

Dunn glared with his ring eyes, looking around, and said furiously: “That Old Pete’s home is nearby. That little chick can’t run far. Even if she runs away, we have to kill Pete to let everyone know the consequences of opposing us.”

Ace frowned upon hearing this. He originally wanted to act at night, but hearing this, he had to act now.

To catch bandits, first catch the ringleader. He leaped down from the roof, Heart Fire burning his right arm. falling from the sky, he hit Ring-Eyed Dunn directly.

Dunn suddenly heard the sound of piercing the air and rolled instinctively to dodge. He actually avoided Ace’s vital attack, leaving a bloody wound on his arm.

Ace was also slightly surprised that his first strike missed. The barbarians swarmed up holding machetes and clubs. Ace leaped out of the encirclement, snatched a machete with a backhand, infused it with Heart Fire, and slashed immediately.

This slash was infused with almost all of Ace’s Heart Fire power. The Heart Fire power turned into sharp and scorching blade energy, spreading instantly into an extremely thin wave, cutting the barbarians present in half.

The bodies of these dozen people slid down neatly. The barbarians who lost their lower bodies did not die immediately. They struggled on the ground for a long time, wailing in pain.

Dunn looked panicked, murmuring: “Radiant Knight….”

Ace’s Heart Fire in his chest was basically exhausted, leaving only a trace of tinder, impossible to continue.

His blood energy was also almost used up, but his steps were solid and his aura pressing. Dunn was almost scared out of his wits and dared not resist at all, allowing Ace to slash down, separating his head from his body.

A female exclamation rang out. Ace turned his head abruptly. It was the girl who had just helped Pete.

The girl held a long sword, her white dress stained with blood, looking quite unique. Seeing her, Ace didn’t speak. With a forceful leap, he jumped onto the roof, running on the tiles, and disappeared.
