Chapter 564: World-Breaking War

Tuoba Lin nodded and walked straight into the Guangding Holy Land. As a Legendary Warrior, his strength was on par with a Qi Ancestor, and his specific combat power was even superior.

For no other reason than that Heart Fire is the most powerful strange flame. Among all the strange flames in the world, none possesses greater potential than Heart Fire; Heart Fire represents infinite possibilities.

He walked into Guangding City just like that, blending into the crowd like an ordinary young man, and very quickly got close to Ming Yan. If not for the mysterious spells he learned from Bayen, approaching Ming Yan wouldn’t have been so easy.

But regardless, he did get close to Ming Yan and observed this man from up close.

This man acted very steadily, handled matters generally fairly, loved to support the younger generation, and was very loyal to his friends. He possessed a stubbornness like an unyielding spear piercing the sky.

If they had met under different circumstances, Tuoba Lin even felt he could become sworn brothers with him, because Tuoba Lin himself was also like a long spear: dignity was the spearhead, and an unyielding spirit was the shaft.

At this moment, Tuoba Lin felt as if he saw a kindred spirit. Meanwhile, in the distance outside Guangding City, starlight flickered in Bayen’s eyes. In his field of vision, he saw a different world.

Tuoba Lin’s fate converged into a bizarre-looking “dragon.” As for the term “dragon,” it was Lord Ace who coined it. To Bayen, it looked perhaps like a four-clawed horned snake.

In short, the symbol of Tuoba Lin’s fate status was a “dragon.” This dragon had prominent horns and a majestic head, looking very extraordinary. Ming Yan’s fate status symbol was also a “dragon,” except this dragon was very decadent, seemingly having lost a massive amount of vitality.

The fate statuses of the two dragons converged, intertwining and interacting with each other. Tuoba Lin’s dragon was full of vitality but seemed slightly hesitant.

Time passed day by day like this. Tuoba Lin and Ming Yan gradually became acquainted. Thanks to Bayen’s disguise magic, Ming Yan didn’t discover Tuoba Lin’s true identity.

Through multiple conversations, Tuoba Lin finally confirmed that Ming Yan considered Demon Venerable Great Sun his benefactor and saw no reason to oppose him.

Tuoba Lin tore off his disguise, revealing that similar face under Ming Yan’s shocked gaze.

Looking at Tuoba Lin, Ming Yan shouted loudly, “Who exactly are you?”

Tuoba Lin laughed heartily: “Do you still remember Tuoba Yanran, who left a letter and departed thirty years ago?”

Ming Yan fell into memory. Tuoba Yanran, that maverick woman, was also his first woman and always remained in his memory.

His voice softened slightly: “Naturally, I remember. She is my fiancée. Although I have taken several concubines, the position of the principal wife has always remained empty, reserved precisely for her.”

Tuoba Lin’s expression improved slightly, but he still said coldly: “Tuoba Yanran is my mother, and you are my biological father. My name is Tuoba Lin. Demon Venerable Great Sun first exterminated my mother’s sect, then exterminated her family. This blood debt is irreconcilable. My mother and I must avenge this. I came today just to ask for your decision.”

Ming Yan let out a long sigh. Even his dragon of fate became much more illusory. He said in a low voice: “Regarding this matter, I can only refuse. I have received profound grace from Venerable Great Sun. He bestowed upon me Heaven-tier cultivation methods and combat techniques. I claim to be his disciple and act under his title. Today, it is truly impossible for me to rebel against Venerable Great Sun.”

Although Tuoba Lin knew this would be the case, he still harbored some hope after all. Seeing this, he said coldly: “Then you intend to stand on the side of Demon Venerable Great Sun and be my enemy?”

Ming Yan shook his head and said: “You are my son, and Yanran is my wife. To kill my wife and son—I still cannot do it. Please allow me to stay behind closed doors.”

In Tuoba Lin’s eyes, Ming Yan’s spine, which had been like a spear piercing the sky, suddenly bent, as if he had aged overnight.

He took a step forward and said loudly: “I, Tuoba Lin, challenge you right now. If you win, my mother and I will never mention the word revenge again. If you lose, I also agree to let you stay behind closed doors. How about it?”

This was an open scheme Bayen taught him, telling him it must be done this way. Seeing that he didn’t have to commit patricide with his own hands, Tuoba Lin felt it was acceptable. His Master, Bayen, had always been mysterious, and he was already used to it.

Ming Yan felt as if he had fallen into some kind of crisis. Actually, ever since Tuoba Yanran left the message “Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west of the river,” he had often had a dream.

In the dream, his engagement was broken off by Yanran, and he shouted, “Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west of the river, do not bully a youth for being poor.”

Dreams are the opposite of reality. He took out the ring left by his mother and rubbed it gently. The ring was completely normal; it was just an antique iron ring, without the “Medicine Elder” from his dream.

In fact, what Ming Yan didn’t know was that a soul had once existed in this ring, but it was directly “eaten” by Ace when He descended.

While Ming Yan was reminiscing, Tuoba Lin had already attacked. Ming Yan parried somewhat flusteredly. After blocking a few moves, he seized an opportunity to jump away and shouted to Tuoba Lin: “Let’s fight outside the city. Don’t involve innocent civilians.”

Tuoba Lin nodded and stopped. Recalling his mother’s description of Tuoba City’s annihilation, he didn’t want that kind of situation to happen either.

The two fought with some restraint on a piece of wasteland. They were evenly matched, actually fighting for three days and three nights without a victor emerging. Bayen and Tuoba Yanran unknowingly appeared at the edge of the battlefield.

Looking at the two fighting, Tuoba Yanran’s expression was complex. She only wanted her son to beat up his old man severely, but didn’t want either of them to die. For a moment, she was burning with anxiety and couldn’t help feeling some regret.

A sliver of a smile appeared at the corner of Bayen’s mouth, cold glints flashing in his eyes as he thought to himself.

“The time to make a resolution has come. This matter involves not only my personal advancement but also a life-and-death struggle between two worlds. It leaves no room for the slightest hesitation from me!”

Bayen’s most proficient magic was astrological prophecy. After asking Ace how to manipulate fate, he further sublimated this magic into the Astrological Fate Spell.

This was an Epic magic capable of largely altering the trajectory of fate, as long as a cause could be planted.

Through Ace, Bayen learned of Ming Yan’s experiences and finally found the reason why he lost his power of fate. Tuoba Yanran was pregnant with a baby boy. Things were just so miraculous: when Ming Yan lost his primal yang, he also lost his fate, the majority of which went to his son.

Now, Bayen quietly operated his magic, pulling the astrology once again. A meteor flashed across Ming Yan’s star of destiny. The Authority power of the entire Guangding City suddenly boiled and burned. Ming Yan, who had been showing signs of decline, suddenly became excited and powerful, fighting Tuoba Lin to a standstill.

The battle between the two constantly escalated, their power continuously consumed. Both actually broke through the Qi Ancestor realm, reaching Half-Step Qi Venerate, equivalent to the Epic realm.

The two flew up into the sky, fighting until the earth shook and mountains swayed. If the sky had a spine, perhaps they would have broken the sky’s spine as well.

Seeming to have drawn out true fire, the two no longer held back; every move was lethal. Tuoba Yanran could barely stand it anymore. She flew up, wanting to make the two stop, but was bounced away by the astral winds of the battle.

Bayen continuously manipulated astrology and the power of fate, intensifying all of this.

The consumption of the battle between the two grew greater and greater. Even the Heavenly Dao was alarmed, and dense tribulation clouds gathered. Ming Yan transformed his Battle Qi into a horse, wanting to ride the horse and flee quickly. Who knew Tuoba Lin was different; he actually transformed his Heart Fire into wings. His speed was so fast that it far surpassed Battle Qi Transforming into a Horse.

They fought ceaselessly, vastly consuming their origins. Although they were Half-Step Supremes, they were not Supremes after all; human strength has its limits.

In the secret realm of the World of Qi, the three Supremes watched the battle between these two with solemn expressions.

“This is abnormal,” the Primogenitor Supreme said slowly.

“Indeed. Someone is interfering in this great struggle for destiny, and interfering very deeply. It is necessary to send someone over.” The Azure Dragon Supreme tugged at his beard and said fiercely.

The Western Supreme let out a long sigh but didn’t speak, not knowing what he was thinking in his heart.

The three exchanged glances and finally nodded. They summoned seven Half-Step Supremes to go to the battlefield to stop the death match.

Shifting the line of sight upwards, leaving the entire world. In the Astral Void, the Wizard World Cluster was rapidly approaching the World of Qi. The powerful mouthpart hooks constructed by the Magic Net already numbered as many as thirteen. Three world-class magical battleships were already in position. Every battleship was controlled by a Legendary Wizard of electromagnetic magic.

The three pseudo-status Demi-gods of the Underworld, Elf Realm, and Celestial Realm also stood beside the Eye of the World. They surrounded one person: exactly Ace Himself.

“Once Bayen successfully seizes the fate, we will immediately accelerate, hook onto the World of Qi, help Bayen achieve Demigod, and tear apart the World Crystal Wall. Before the opponent’s Heavenly Dao is finished, do not penetrate deep into the world’s interior to fight. Otherwise, with their three Qi Venerates having the world’s blessing, I fear your lives will be in danger.”

Everyone nodded. Holding the Scepter of Heaven, Betty said with a solemn yet excited expression: “For this world-breaking war, our requirements are speed, hit-and-run tactics, and attrition! As long as the two worlds are connected, we can use the hooks in the shape of the World-Devouring Bug’s mouthparts to continuously tear at the other world and digest its fragments.

“The main goal of our Demigod level combat power is active defense. The same goes for the rest of you. Until the final moment, absolutely do not let your main bodies penetrate deep into their world.”

The Wizard World Cluster was like a fully armed ferocious beast in the astral ocean, gradually closing in on the World of Qi.

Returning to the World of Qi, the seven Half-Step Supremes quickly appeared, attempting to terminate this battle. However, they found that at some unknown time, Ace and other wizards whose clones had descended upon this world had long gathered here. They constructed a complex isolation spatial barrier, “locking” Bayen, Tuoba Yanran, Ming Yan, and Tuoba Lin all inside.

Even the attacks of Half-Step Supremes could not break open the defense.

The seven of them engaged in battle with Ace and the others, but were manipulated by Ace’s mysterious gravitational force field. Just Ace’s clones alone pinned the seven of them down. The three Supremes were greatly shocked and tried to communicate with the Heavenly Dao. But the Heavenly Dao was coy and unwilling to release its restrictions on them.

The battle dragged on longer and longer. One day, two days, a month, two months. A whole year passed.

The gravity of the entire battlefield became increasingly bizarre and distorted. The various Battle Qi techniques of the Half-Step Supremes were distorted beyond recognition; they were already at a loss as to what to do.

The three Supremes of Qi finally reached an agreement with the Heavenly Dao and broke out of their realm. They arrived at the battlefield in an instant. The Primogenitor Supreme circulated his power to the absolute limit. A giant palm of Battle Qi that blotted out the sky emerged. With one palm strike down, that complex and bizarre gravitational force field shook violently but actually didn’t collapse.

The three Supremes exchanged glances. Not daring to delay, they joined forces for a single strike.

Terrifying Battle Qi surged, the world trembled, and a pure golden giant fist swept past slowly. The gravitational force field disintegrated like glass. All the wizard clones present died. The bodies of those seven Half-Step Supremes were annihilated instantly; their souls had to detach and flee back to the secret realm.

Ace’s clones slowly disappeared, leaving the three Supremes a mysterious smile.

Their hearts couldn’t help but skip a beat. They saw that the spatial barrier had already shattered, and the battle inside had already ended.

Bayen sat high in the sky. Ming Yan’s family of three, embracing each other, were already dead. The massive power of fate of two dragons and one phoenix was swallowed whole by Bayen like a whale. His body was brewing a mutation. His entire physical body had already completed sanctification, but his soul wasn’t that fast. After all, transformation is not an overnight matter.

The Azure Dragon Supreme stomped his foot and shouted loudly: “Too late! As matters stand now, we can only eliminate this scoundrel. Pity the destiny accumulated over a million years. The fourth Supreme was snatched away by an extraterrestrial demon just like that.”

Outside the world, in the Wizard World which was still a distance away from the World of Qi, the crowd standing on the Eye of the World suddenly jolted, and then revealed smiles.

Ace raised His right hand high, brought it down fiercely, and roared: “Full speed ahead! Target: World of Qi. World Hooks, prepare! Battleships, prepare!”

Boom!

The tail of the Wizard World Cluster ejected a massive amount of impurities, rapidly pushing the entire world forward, approaching the World of Qi at extreme speed. The thirteen mouthpart hooks struck out swiftly. The three world-class battleships took off, approaching the World of Qi ahead of time. The main cannons right at the front, accelerated by the super-large magical electromagnetic railguns, flung out extremely heavy matter at extreme speed under the operation of the Legendary Wizards.

A silent, massive tremor. Three gaps instantly broke open in the crystal wall of the World of Qi. The battleships continued to charge energy and reload. The Wizard World had already arrived in the blink of an eye. The thirteen mouthpart hooks rushed into the gaps, swallowing everything unbridled. Ace manipulated the Magic Net, slowly spreading the Magic Net across the entire crystal wall of the World of Qi, and attempted to invade inward, locking the two worlds together.

The energy charging of the three battleships continued unceasingly. Another three terrifying railgun shots pierced through the World Crystal Wall. However, this interval lasted for nearly a day. Such a long charging time made it only suitable for striking fixed objects, not for individual combat.

Bayen had already escaped from the World of Qi. His body was twisted and covered in blood. The blood flowing out shimmered with gold, indicating his extraordinariness. The three Supremes struck out a supreme Battle Qi from afar, wanting to obliterate Bayen. A brilliant nebula abruptly emerged and simply swept it up.

This supreme Battle Qi instantly vanished into thin air, ceasing to exist.

The Western Supreme said in great shock: “What is this thing, to be so formidable?”

The other two Supremes exchanged glances. The Primogenitor Supreme said: “Let us go out from the gap together to investigate. Remember not to detach from the world. We must absolutely stay within the range of the Heavenly Dao’s favor.”

They slowly emerged, propping up Battle Qi barriers. Suddenly, a terrifying electromagnetic railgun flung out matter at an extremely horrifying speed. With a boom, it shattered the barriers of the three Supremes, leaving them battered and exhausted.

Ace said to the people beside Him: “These three Supremes have some skills. Taking a hit from a world-class weapon head-on and actually being fine.”

On the other side, the three Supremes were also greatly shocked. The Western Supreme almost blurted out: “The opponent is actually so powerful. If every strike is like this, perhaps it would be better for us to just kneel and surrender!”
