Chapter 582: Advancing to Sovereign
“A world impact on the three-dimensional level can actually affect the fourth dimension?”
Ace entered His own four-dimensional particle, striving to steer it away from the impact’s influence, and then added, “That’s not quite right either. An unimaginable shockwave destroyed the alternate dimensions, demi-planes, and sub-planes orbiting the Kaya Divine Mountain with the force of crushing dry weeds and smashing rotten wood.
The energy unleashed by this shockwave was absolutely destructive. At least two-thirds of the True Gods in the entire Kaya Pantheon lost their sub-planes in an instant, and countless Demi-gods perished directly on the spot.
Even ordinary Main Gods, the Sovereigns of Laws, suffered heavy losses. The unlucky Titan Main God, the Sun God Annuosen, took the shockwave head-on. Fortunately, He was a Level 6 existence and His state was extremely stable. Although His quasi-plane was dilapidated, it did not perish because of it.
“This is a conspiracy! Absolutely a conspiracy!”
Annuosen roared, wanting to fight the United Gods to the death right then and there. But the other Titan Main Gods stopped Him.
The Lady of the Night even slapped Him directly, shouting, “What we need now is calm! First clean up the mess and guard against the enemy’s attacks. The good news is that apart from you, our Titan Main Gods suffered almost no losses. The bad news is that at least more than half of the True Gods might perish; the immortal brands in the Great Source have loosened!”
“What!”
The other deities were all greatly shocked. The reason they could be immortal was that they turned their Fruits of Immortality into brands and engraved them deep within the Great Source.
Now the immortal brands had loosened. This had only existed in extremely ancient times. Some deities seemed to recall past memories: the fall of deities, mortals slaughtering gods… it all happened in that absurd era.
That era was called the Long Night of the Gods’ Fall!
A deity asked in terror, “The Long Night is approaching?”
The Lady of the Night said solemnly, “Yes. This impact caused the sub-planes of at least two-thirds of the deities to be destroyed on the spot. But it doesn’t stop there. Except for the Titan Main Gods, the terrifying storm caused by the world collision will sweep across the entire outer side of the world. Almost no deity’s sub-plane can withstand this kind of storm!”
A deity gulped and asked, “Then what should we do?”
Artemis seemed to fall into memory, Her voice sounding as if waking from a dream. She said softly, “Perhaps you need to proactively descend, taking your Fruits of Immortality and sub-planes, and plunge into the inner side of the world together.”
“What?”
The gods were exceptionally puzzled, seemingly waiting for Artemis to explain. But Arte did not explain. She simply turned and left, leaving behind ethereal words: “The immortality of deities is only relative. Unless one becomes a Level 6 existence, in this Godfall Storm, even a Level 5 Immortal will wither.”
In a place the gods didn’t notice, a sub-plane flashed and disappeared, actually vanishing from the center of the terrifying Godfall Storm caused by the shockwave of the world impact.
This was almost an impossible feat. Under this kind of impact, space was completely sealed off. It was virtually impossible for True Gods to jump, and the same was true for Their sub-planes.
No deity knew that this was Ace’s sub-plane. He had entered the four-dimensional domain. Things impossible in the third dimension could indeed be done in the fourth dimension.
Ace’s sub-plane reached a location temporarily unaffected by the storm, and He felt somewhat shaken. If He hadn’t happened to be in the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm, He feared He wouldn’t have had the time to enter the fourth dimension at all, let alone steer the corresponding four-dimensional microparticle of His sub-plane away from the core area of the impact shockwave.
He flew out of His sub-plane and looked at that terrifying storm, His eyes flashing with white light. Comprehend!
The world suddenly changed in His eyes. Ace’s pupils contracted slightly, seemingly in disbelief, murmuring: “This kind of energy, this kind of chaos and disorder… it seems a sub-plane simply cannot withstand it.
“This is of higher quality and even more disordered than the energy generated when I opened the high-dimensional rift. This high-quality energy seems extremely difficult to degrade instantly; instead, it has formed an entrenched storm that is slowly diffusing, and will ultimately spread across the entire outer side of the world.
“Surrounded by this disordered energy, I will be unable to open the High-Dimensional Door, unable to enter the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm, and unable to obtain the energy of dimensional collapse from the fourth dimension. As for absorbing this storm, it is not something a Level 5 existence like me can do.
“I fear only a Level 6 existence can absorb this storm. In other words, ultimately, no existence other than the Level 6 Titan Gods will be able to survive on the outer side of the world.”
Ace couldn’t help but cast His gaze towards the inner side of the world. He now had two choices. One was to flee the world before the storm swept over, letting the sub-plane drift alone. As for entering the Wizard World Cluster, that was unfeasible. Unless the Wizard World Cluster ascended to a higher level, He, a True God, could not go there under any circumstances.
The other method was the inner side of the world. This storm and impact had thoroughly disrupted everything, including the Great Source. Ace also sensed the chaos of the Great Source. The vow that deities could not enter the inner side of the world would likely become invalid soon.
“Descending to the inner side of the world along with the sub-plane? It really feels a bit like raising Gu [1]. With so many deities descending, some Fruits of Immortality lost, some carried by themselves… this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Godslaying. And not only can one slay gods, one can steal the authority of deities and seize their domains.”
A trace of strange brilliance flashed in Ace’s eyes. This was indeed an excellent opportunity for rising, though also extremely chaotic. Perhaps this was exactly what the Outer Gods desired. Their deities had not been impacted and could prepare fully for the descent.
Having a sub-plane and not having a sub-plane were entirely different concepts. Even if a sub-plane entered the inner side of the world, it could become a folded space like the Reflection World, waiting for the storm to subside before ascending to heaven again.
“While there is still time to prepare, I must become a Sovereign of Dreams!”
Ace’s gaze revealed a sense of urgency. He had collected enough laws, and His Dream Realm was already incredibly expansive. With over a thousand laws, it touched almost every domain imaginable.
He didn’t even cleanse His detrimental state, risking entering the High-Dimensional “Door” once more. He did not plan to upgrade His foundation in three-dimensional space, but to control the corresponding four-dimensional microparticle of His sub-plane within four-dimensional space, and advance to Sovereign right there.
“Although a Sovereign is just an ordinary Main God and will similarly be unable to resist the storm, similarly falling into the inner side of the world, this is exactly my excellent opportunity!
“I shall become the Sovereign of Dreams. I shall elevate the Magic Net to a law at this time. I shall be the unblocker of chaotic energy, the Lord of Spellcasters. The storm will be a godsend opportunity!”
The Law of Dreams diffused in the fourth dimension. Assisted by the Book of Records and scanned by the Law of Comprehension… past, present, and future, fragments of the Law of Dreams on countless timelines, various possibilities were all picked up by Ace. His Law of Dreams began to deepen bit by bit.
The breadth was already sufficient, and the depth was continuing. This was an indescribable scene. On the four-dimensional space-time scale, Ace’s Law of Dreams achieved convergence, integrating the past.
“So that’s how it is. The so-called Sovereign is making a law achieve three-dimensional immortality. The law constructs something similar to a Fruit of Immortality, thereby possessing power far stronger than an ordinary True God, and one can bestow their own path upon others—that is, creating subordinate gods.

If an existence entered it, even a Demigod might be permanently confined within by Ace. As long as Ace didn’t wish it, the Demigod would be unable to perceive any existence outside this Dream World. In other words, Ace now had the ability to down-dimension a Demigod into a dream existence.
Sensing those thousands of laws—clearly just incomplete laws, but within the Dream World they had all become complete laws—Ace smiled and said:
“From now on, I can call Myself the Main God of Dreams. But there’s no need to let others know. At a time like this, the information gap is an advantage. With the influence of the storm, I fear even the Titan Main Gods cannot judge my situation without seeing me.”
He sank His mind to the foundational layer of His mental imagery world. The Law of Dreams almost spread across the entire Ocean of Rules, with the Law of Comprehension and the Law of Manifestation floating above it. Ace slowly pressed the two laws into the Sovereign Law of Dreams, actually generating a strange interaction.
“Can I only integrate one complete law? Then there’s no choice. I will integrate the complete Law of Manifestation into the Dream!”
Ace tossed the Law of Comprehension high up, transforming it into a crystal vertical eye hovering above the mental imagery. The Law of Manifestation disappeared into the Sovereign Law of Dreams like melting snow. He felt His whole body tremble; this was ultimate ecstasy.
It could not be expressed or described. It was a hundred times, a thousand times, or a ten thousand times more joyful than any pleasure a human could experience. Even with Ace’s self-control, it took Him a long time to break free from this blissed-out state.
“No wonder there is a rumor among the gods that before the Goddess of Desire and Love advanced to a Main God, She was only the Goddess of Love. But after She integrated Desire into Love, She indulged Herself for nearly ten thousand years, going somewhat mad.
“Most of Her descendants were born during that stage, including the Goddess of Elegance, Medea.”
Ace talked to Himself, actually amusing Himself. He slowly withdrew His mind from the foundational layer of His mental imagery world and opened His eyes: “From now on, I can call Myself the Main God of Dreams and Manifestation, the Comprehender of All Things.”
His eyes gazed at the storm, feeling slightly at ease.
“If the speed remains unchanged, it will take at least another half a year for the storm to spread to me. I must construct a complete Law of the Magic Net within this period. This will be a completely new law, but it also has a past. As long as it is a law related to energy, it can become my target for retrieval.”
Ace’s figure swayed, actually separating out another projection. As an ordinary Main God, an existence at the pinnacle of Level 5, He could project one True God-level projection at minimum strength, and one Demi-god projection whose strength reached the limit of a Demi-god.

“Time is very tight. The True God-level projection is responsible for opening high-dimensional rifts and converting Divine Power Essence. My true body will delve deep into the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm to complete these two tasks.
“Fortunately, after becoming an ordinary Main God, the detrimental state can be eliminated very quickly. That’s a piece of good news.”
Ace’s projection bowed slightly to Him, then opened a high-dimensional rift, using the Immortal Heart Fire to digest the energy generated by high-dimensional collapse bit by bit into Divine Power Essence that He could absorb.
Ace also ignored this tool-man. Mobilizing the over six thousand stars to palpitate together, He rapidly cleansed His detrimental state and barged into the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm once again.
Skillfully steering His four-dimensional microparticle to avoid the influence of the world impact on the four-dimensional level, Ace also began attempting to observe this anomaly. This was absolutely an unimaginable picture, and also an indescribable phenomenon.
In the third dimension, one could only observe the impact, but in the fourth dimension, one could “see” a more precise reality. As He observed, Ace felt His understanding of gravity, electromagnetic force, and thermodynamics deepening. His world of cognition nested within the Dream World sublimated at this moment.

I always feel that if the Astral Plane continues like this, it’s going to be finished sooner or later.”
On the four-dimensional level, Ace’s true body no longer paid attention to the impact process. The two worlds had already begun to merge. What He needed was to pick up the trajectories related to the Law of the Magic Net left in the past of the two worlds.
