Chapter 585: The Gods of Salia

Ace’s Law of the Magic Net actually became a Sovereign Law without Him realizing it, or rather, it was inherently a Sovereign Law.

“After all, it took over three thousand laws blended together to form the complete Law of the Magic Net. It inherently possesses enough depth and breadth, and…”

Ace observed carefully. He had already discovered that the Dream Gods, transformed from the pseudo-complete laws within the Dream Realm, had developed a wondrous connection with the Magic Net, seemingly able to share and use it in common.

“Did I borrow the accumulation of the Dream Realm? Although it’s taking a shortcut, it indeed achieved a Sovereign Law. And this law possesses Level 6 potential. If I can untangle this high-dimensional energy storm raging on the outer side of the world, perhaps I truly can advance to Level 6.”

While murmuring to Himself, Ace continued to let the Magic Net spread throughout His sub-plane.

Because of Ace’s influence, the high-dimensional collapse accelerated. About a month later, all existences at the True God level and above felt it: the vow that had ruled for nearly ten thousand years completely disappeared. At the same time, the Great Source expelled the deities’ Fruits of Immortality, scattering them to every corner of the inner side of the world.

A scene rarely seen even in a hundred thousand years began. The deities who had lost their sub-planes voluntarily plummeted to the inner side of the world like shooting stars. Their primary task was to retrieve their own Fruits of Immortality.

Scattered sub-planes also fell into the inner side of the world. Ace fell along with them, not attracting any particular attention.

The inner side of the world was actually also an infinitely vast world. According to the descriptions of the Outer Gods, it was their first time seeing a world with a structure like Kaya’s—like an egg wrapped inside an egg. Although not entirely appropriate, that was the general idea.

Unlike the tragic True Gods who were streaking naked, having lost their sub-planes and Fruits of Immortality, Ace’s sub-plane was powerful and sturdy. His Fruit of Immortality was even hidden deep within the galactic center; as long as His sub-plane remained intact, no one could steal it.

Therefore, while the other gods were like refugees fleeing a famine, Ace was bringing a large army to open up colonies; they could not be mentioned in the same breath.

The sub-plane slowly sank into the crystal wall of the inner side of the world. The sturdiness of this crystal wall was even greater than that of the outer crystal wall. The reason Ace’s sub-plane could enter was not because the sub-plane was so sturdy, but because the crystal wall proactively created a hollow.

It was extremely wondrous. When the sub-plane approached the crystal wall of the inner world, the crystal wall proactively formed a cavity. After Ace’s sub-plane slowly sank in, the cavity also disappeared.

This was the inner side of the world. An incomparably massive earth core rotated right in the center, miraculously maintaining an equal gravity. Countless stars orbited the earth core. After Ace’s sub-plane arrived on the inner side of the world, it unconsciously began to collapse.

This collapse was a spatial folding. From the outside, the sub-plane quickly turned into a bright new star. From the inside, the sub-plane remained a galactic universe.

This raised a trace of doubt in Ace’s mind: among these numerous stars, how many were like His own?

Could those so-called Star Gods be the rebirth of former sub-plane masters who had perished? For a moment, His thoughts swirled, and He was somewhat spellbound.

Not long after, Ace dispatched His True God projection to garrison Salia; the tool-man for converting high-dimensional energy was no longer needed.

“Sure enough. With the diffusion of this high-dimensional storm, it’s fundamentally impossible to normally open high-dimensional rifts. Even if forcibly opened, what is obtained is tyrannical energy that cannot be converted, and one careless move will even cause injury.

“The only thing to be thankful for is probably the Magic Net.”

Within the galactic universe, Ace looked at the invisible Magic Net deep in the galactic center. This tyrannical high-dimensional storm did not stop the Magic Net from drawing energy from the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm. Although objectively the efficiency of drawing energy was greatly reduced, the Magic Net could still stably draw energy and convert it into Divine Power Essence.

This was no easy feat. One must know that right now, besides Level 6 existences, no one could draw energy from higher dimensions. Ace’s Magic Net could do it; although it was only equivalent to opening nine high-dimensional rifts, it was already extremely difficult.

“Therefore, there are three tasks right now: First, spread the Magic Net to every corner of the inner side of the world, including the Reflection World; Second, form the Salia Alliance—I must display my strength to the gods of Salia and establish a temporary alliance of deities; Third, find the God of Knowledge and the God of Sleep.”

Ace’s goals were very clear. The God of Knowledge was a massive tonic for the ahoge on His head, and the domain of the God of Sleep was very suitable as a supplement to the Dream Realm. Perhaps it was time to let the father and his three sons serve the same lord.

…

On the Salia Peninsula, it was golden autumn. Wave after wave of wheat rolled in the City-State of Thoth, and golems were tirelessly harvesting the wheat. About a hundred kayas east of the City-State of Thoth, a giant floating city was preparing to take off.

This was the floating city created under the direction of the Mythical Wizard Betty. Originally, it had always existed in the Dream World, in the Wizard World in the lower layer. Ever since the wizards recalled their power, Betty simply organized the wizards to build this miraculous city.

“Although it cannot compare to the mega-structures built by Lord Ace in the Wizard World Cluster, this can also be considered a landmark creation. How can the territory of wizards lack a floating city?”

Looking at this floating city integrating war, daily life, and research, Betty was filled with a sense of happiness. If there was any regret, the only regret was that the core motive power of the floating city wasn’t all that powerful. Generating mana based on electromagnetic conversion caused massive energy waste and produced a large amount of useless waste heat, which made her somewhat dispirited.

“Perhaps Lord Ace can manufacture a superior energy core?”

She whispered uncertainly. This city was currently still an empty city; everyone hoped to wait for Ace’s arrival to personally cut the ribbon.

Just at this moment, Ace’s True God projection had already quietly arrived. He looked at the floating city, a trace of a smile appearing at the corner of His mouth. Wizards indeed needed a floating city; in fact, one wasn’t enough, there should be many. This was the concentrated manifestation of magical civilization.

“You have done very well, gathering your power and using such a short time to manufacture a floating city.”

Betty smiled in embarrassment: “The production of this city was still too rushed and a bit rough. I hope Lord Ace can check it over and make our first floating city in Kaya more perfect. Furthermore, the energy source of the floating city is a big problem. Initially, we wanted to draw energy from the Sea of Illusion and Reality, but we found it was flooded by some kind of berserk energy flow that couldn’t be processed, so we couldn’t draw from it at all. We turned to using electromagnetism to derive mana, but the conversion efficiency is too low.”

Ace nodded and said: “A few minor flaws cannot conceal the greatness of this project. Don’t worry about the energy issue; I have already thought of a solution. We’ll take it step by step. As long as the Magic Net exists, we won’t have to worry about the source of mana.”

After speaking, under Betty’s pleasantly surprised gaze, Ace gently waved His hand, repairing the minor flaws and making the entire floating city even sturdier.

The next day, a large number of the magical populace began to migrate to the floating city. This was no ordinary floating city; it was even more an alternate dimension, possessing a massive space far exceeding its exterior, almost a self-sufficient small planet.

Entering it, one would find they had entered a spherical metropolis planet, or rather, a complete ecological sphere.

Though small, the sparrow has all its vital organs: demi-plane-level crystal wall protection, thirty-three fixed Demi-god-level electromagnetic railguns, thousands of Legendary-level hovering electromagnetic coilguns, and tens of thousands of various defensive magics.

A curvature navigation magic engine that distorted gravity; the disadvantage was that it left a fixed gravitational wake, while the advantage was capable of high-speed, ultra-long-distance leaps. There was also a traditional short-distance spatial leap magic engine.

Except for the insufficient core energy, everything else was readily available.

After Ace embedded an infinite energy core capable of communicating with the Magic Net with maximum authority at all times, the energy issue was no longer a problem.

In this city, the surprises of magical craftsmanship were displayed at all times. Industrialized magical products had already begun mass production. This was the highest crystallization of magical civilization.

The true body of the God of Arithmetic, Thoth, had already descended. He was very unlucky; His sub-plane happened to be among the first batch destroyed. And these short few months were fundamentally insufficient to draw energy and reconstruct a sub-plane. He had no choice but to descend naked.

As soon as He arrived at the City-State of Thoth, He noticed the anomaly: the wizards seemed to have all disappeared. Immediately after, He discovered that floating city.

Inside the alternate dimension of the floating city, on the academic planet established imitating the Celestial Realm, Thoth and Ace’s True God projection strolled around with great interest.

“I truly didn’t expect this. Other deities all descended naked, yet not only is your sub-plane basically intact, but you even broke through the shackles of laws and became a Main God. I suddenly feel like I’ve lived all these years in vain.”

After learning that the True God in front of Him was only Ace’s projection, Thoth couldn’t help but sigh with emotion.

His ambition was still there, but His confidence had been shattered. This Ace in front of Him was very familiar, yet also very strange. To actually be able to advance His own laws and become a Main God standing at the pinnacle of Level 5 in such a short time… this made Him feel a tremendous sense of frustration.

Ace smiled slightly and laughed it off: “I was just relatively lucky. It just so happened that when the impact occurred, I was roaming the Divine Secret Realm. Not only did I save my own sub-plane, but by observing the truth of this higher-level impact, I thoroughly comprehended the true essence of dreams.”

Hearing Ace say this, Thoth felt even more bitter. His voice was low: “I used to think you choosing the Path of Dreams was a mistake. Now it seems you were correct, and I was the one who was wrong. To be honest, with the Gods’ Fall, unable to draw mystical power from the Divine Secret Realm, and having lost our Fruits of Immortality, we True Gods are already unworthy of the name.”

Ace said with a solemn expression: “Not so. A True God is a True God, Level 5 Immortal. As long as one can retrieve their Fruit of Immortality, they can naturally guard their own immortality. If you trust me, you can also store your Fruit of Immortality in My sub-plane.”

Thoth smiled: “Does this count as you recruiting me?”

Ace smiled: “No, this is an alliance.”

He enunciated every word: “If agreed upon, it won’t just be you. I will help all the True Gods of Salia—except the Son of the Ocean—retrieve their Fruits of Immortality. We will also establish a temporary pantheon alliance for the duration of the mystical storm, with Me as the head!”

Thoth raised His head and looked at Ace. The young man He once looked down upon had now grown to the point of being able to look down upon Him and shelter Him. Thoth smiled brightly: “I have no problem with that; it just depends on the other few.”

Seven days later, Ace invited the deities of the five northern states of Salia and the Goddess of Elegance from the south. He announced His stance on the spot: either accept and form an alliance, or withdraw from the Salia Peninsula. Without a doubt, the deities ultimately chose the alliance.

At a time when the Titan Main Gods could not descend, Ace, this newly ascended Main God, was undoubtedly a top-tier powerhouse. Their city-states were in His vicinity; if they could not serve Him, they could only leave.

Afterwards, one Main God and seven True Gods descended upon Tsimali together, “persuading” the Son of the Ocean, the newly ascended True God Pontus, to withdraw from the peninsula. Looking at the one Main God and seven True Gods opposite Him, Pontus only felt He might perish on the spot. Belonging to a different faction, staying here was simply courting death.

Hearing that Ace could let Him leave, He didn’t even dare utter a single harsh word. He respectfully performed the grand ceremony of an audience with a Main God to Ace, saying earnestly: “Respected Main God, Your Holiness Ace, I hope I can take my believers away. They are all merfolk and half-merfolk ; leaving them here would be of no use to you either.”

Ace hadn’t intended to fight for anything, but the Goddess of Elegance, Medea, had already taken a step forward first, shouting loudly: “Audacious! Your father betrayed the Kaya Gods. Today, it is already a blessing that His Holiness the Main God is magnanimous enough to release you. Yet you dare to bargain? Do you truly think the Domain of Elegance cannot do anything to you?”

Seeing this, the God of Great Strength, Norton, raised his eyebrows slightly. This Medea was too shameless, actually unable to wait to flatter the new master. He clearly had a bond of witnessing with His Holiness Ace from back then; he couldn’t let this Goddess seize the initiative.

He also leaped up, shouting explosively: “Disrespecting the Main God! Fight me!”

The Son of the Ocean, Pontus, instantly trembled in both legs. Although He was a True God, His domain couldn’t even be considered a law; it was a divine authority that many deities looked down upon: God of the Pontus Sea Region, God of Merfolk and Half-Merfolk.

No wonder He wanted to take His believers away. If He left the sea region and lost His believers, He would probably immediately fall from Level 5.

Ace held up a hand, stopping the performance of the Salia Gods. He said calmly: “Giving you the believers is not impossible. Everything stresses fairness. What price can you offer?”

Pontus hesitated for a long time, saying with somewhat insufficient confidence: “I discovered a secret treasure of the Outer Gods, and am willing to offer it to Your Holiness the Main God.”

After speaking, He slowly took out an object. It was an emerald green leaf, with complex textures and seemingly some hidden profound mystery within.

“I obtained this object by chance from the Reflection World. I observed it for a long time but gained nothing, but Your Holiness only needs to take one look to know this object must be a rare treasure. Its mystery level is absolutely above Level 5.”

Ace beckoned with His hand, and the leaf floated from Pontus’s hand into His. With just a grasp, He felt His whole body jolt, and the ahoge on top of His head twitched violently with joy.

Fortunately, Ace was wearing a tall top hat, so the others didn’t notice.

“The lucky baby is the God of Comprehension, the God of Records. Anything that can attract Its attention must hold profound mysteries.”

Thinking of this, Ace said coldly: “I cannot see anything special about this leaf either. For the sake that your father was once a Titan Main God, I will allow you to take away ten thousand believers. The rest, say no more.”
