Chapter 615: The Dream Realm

On the three-dimensional level, Betty watched with a somewhat complex state of mind as the wizards lined up the Pseudonymous Ones and stuffed them one by one into her Heat Death Ring hollow demi-plane.

“Congratulations, Betty. The Heat Death Ring is indeed an extremely powerful Legendary Immortal magical item; our efforts were not in vain. This is simply the best imprisonment chamber, and a True God-level imprisonment chamber at that.”

Bayen said to Betty with a chuckle.

Betty’s eyes were complex. Just as she was about to say something, a newly advanced Legendary Immortal Wizard walked over.

“Your Excellency Betty, if you manufacture more of these prisons, even if the quality is a bit lower, it’s fine. I estimate that besides Legendary Immortal Wizards, Mythical Wizards definitely have similar needs as well.”

Just as everyone was chatting comfortably, those thirty-four bizarre sub-planes suddenly flickered and actually disappeared without a trace.

“What is going on?”

“There seems to be a very intense spatial vibration and mana rhythm?”

“It should be Lord Ace doing something in four-dimensional space-time. Did He destroy all the sub-planes in an instant?”

While they were speaking, mana swirled, and Ace appeared among the crowd.

Bayen flew to Ace’s side, bowed, and asked: “Lord Ace, did You destroy the sub-planes of the otherworldly gods?”

Ace shook His head and said: “That would be too wasteful. They have already turned into nutrients and been absorbed by our Wizard World. You all clean up the battlefield first. Betty will be responsible for organizing personnel to interrogate the enemies in the cage. Within a month, I want to know the basic situation of the True Name World!”

After speaking, Ace disappeared without a trace.

He returned to the rule layer of the Wizard World, merged into the core of the Magic Net, and continued to meditate.

Only Ace could open and effectively manipulate over a hundred thousand high-dimensional rifts. His sub-plane had already reached its limit, or rather, the limit of a four-dimensional micro-particle. Even with more energy, it was difficult to enhance it further.

At such a time, improving a single four-dimensional micro-particle was not as good as improving the entire particle cluster. But Ace was ultimately not Level 6. He only had one four-dimensional particle, while the Wizard Multiverse was a particle cluster. Enhancing the three-dimensional depth of the Wizard Multiverse was more appropriate.

“If I use an analogy, every four-dimensional particle is like an empty bottle, and the mana gurgling out from the high-dimensional rifts is continuously filling this empty bottle—the four-dimensional particle.

“And mana filling the empty bottle is like a story from my past life: first filling it with rocks, then filling it with fine sand, and finally filling it with water. The purest mana is no more than equivalent to Source Power. Based on the current situation, my galactic universe can at most add another three hundred thousand stars, but the effort required is too great.

“Rather than expanding my sub-plane, it’s better to use it all to enhance the foundation of the inner side of the Wizard World!”

The massive amount of energy released by the high-dimensional disintegration from the high-dimensional rifts then filled the third dimension, allowing the three-dimensional level to have more energy and matter, while simultaneously making the four-dimensional particle cluster more solid.

In the Prime Material Plane of the Wizard World, stars began to appear by the hundreds and thousands. In just half a month’s time, nearly ten thousand stars were added.

Outside the world, the wizards had already finished cleaning up the battlefield. Betty placed the Heat Death Ring in the Sea of the Illussion and Reality on the outer side of the world.

The demi-plane of the Heat Death Ring generated seventeen mutually isolated alternate dimensions, completely isolating the seventeen Named Ones. However, regarding how to research these seventeen Named Ones, they hadn’t yet formed a consensus.

“I think we must make Them weaker, and then drag Them onto the experimental table to directly dissect Them, analyzing the similarities and differences in Their composition compared to the Kaya Gods.”

The Lich Witte said grimly.

“But our task is to obtain information about the True Name World, to obtain as much as possible. I fear that will be difficult to achieve through dissection. It’s best to use mind-type magic, mind-type magic of the Ninth Ring or above.”

Daina, who hadn’t appeared for a long time, said in a low voice.

“We only have one Ninth Ring magic so far, which is Legendary Mind Blast. If we want to control the opponent, we probably need Lord Ace’s help. The Dream Domain is the best path to silently invade others’ memories.”

Betty sat on a delicate silver spherical mechanical chair and said with certainty.

Bayen nodded and stroked his beard: “That is indeed the case. Almost none of us are proficient in Legendary-level mind-type magic. Up to now, we only know the opponent is the so-called ‘Named Ones,’ and we only found that out by intimidating the Pseudonymous Ones.

“The information we obtained from the Named Ones is even less than what we obtained from the Pseudonymous Ones. We must have Lord Ace personally take action and use great dream magic to unravel everything.”

In the Celestial Realm, the Central High Tower, the group found Ace’s projection and informed Him of this matter.

The projection nodded and smiled, saying: “That is indeed true. If the true body takes action, there is a high probability of unraveling and obtaining the information. However, the true body is currently enhancing the foundation for our Wizard World. How about this: you send the Heat Death Ring to my sub-plane. I will use the blessing of the sub-plane’s laws to see if I can see through the memories of these Named Ones.”

After speaking, Ace’s projection turned into a shooting star, accompanied by spatial fluctuations, and disappeared without a trace.

Betty and the others also jumped along the curvature, pulling the Heat Death Ring imprisoning the seventeen Named Ones near Ace’s sub-plane. A five-colored vortex emerged in the sub-plane, from which Ace’s voice transmitted, ethereal and dream-like.

“Push the Heat Death Ring into the vortex, and leave the rest to me.”

Betty and the others exchanged glances, nodded, and their mana rapidly pulsed. A super-giant Hand of Magic emerged, forcefully stuffing the Heat Death Ring into the five-colored vortex.

As soon as the Heat Death Ring entered the vortex, it was immediately shrouded by a layer of swirling dream mist. As if losing its weight, it rapidly drifted to the center of the galactic center.

Two million stars throbbed together, providing the magical environment. Ace’s Sovereign-level Law of Dreams transformed into a dream illusion and was mastered by the projection.

“The first step is to use the periphery of the Dream Realm to construct a dream crystal wall, simulating this place into a Dream Realm approaching the sub-plane level, wrapping the Heat Death Ring and forming an isolated system separate from the outside world.”

Mist swirled. Ace’s projection held the Law of Dreams high, gradually creating a Dream Realm sub-plane, nesting the Heat Death Ring inside like a Matryoshka doll.

In this isolated Dream Ring, Ace’s figure gradually disappeared. He was omnipresent; all dreams were Him.

Meanwhile, one of the partitioned alternate dimensions of the originally isolated Heat Death Ring was infiltrated by swirling dream mist.

The Angel of Holy Light had already flown in this bizarre space of dark chaos for an unknown amount of time. The temperature here was getting hotter and hotter. If a mortal came here, they would probably instantly turn to ash.

“This place is too strange. The distance I’ve flown is already enough to circle the True Name Continent twice back and forth, yet I actually haven’t found a way out here. Am I going in circles? Is there some weirdness I don’t know about that keeps making me get lost? What should I do!”

He was very anxious. If He couldn’t return to the True Name World, His Majesty Radiant Sun probably wouldn’t get suspicious within ten years. But when His Majesty Radiant Sun came to investigate ten years later, things might be completely different.

If the other party produced powerhouses equivalent to the Lords of Time, they might just obscure their dynamic coordinates, making it difficult to find the Wizard World again. But the other party had captured us, and would very likely find the True Name World. If left unchecked, perhaps in a thousand years, it would be the True Name World that faced destruction!

The more He thought like this, the hotter and more agitated He became. The Angel of Holy Light stopped, closed His eyes, and began to earnestly adjust His state. If the opponent planned to keep Him locked up forever, there might truly be nothing He could do. If the opponent planned to interrogate or torture Him, there might be a way.

He didn’t realize that this alternate dimension had unknowingly been infiltrated by swirling dream mist, and He Himself was unknowingly being influenced.

This dream mist carried a trace of the implication of fate, seemingly guiding something.

After a long while, the Angel of Holy Light opened His eyes. A Feather of Heaven drifted down from His back and just quietly floated in mid-air.

“I will use the Feather of Heaven to determine exactly how large this prison-like space is, and walk it again!”

This time, He didn’t seem to be deceived by His perception anymore. The Feather of Heaven indeed positioned this space. Having used up more than half of His feathers, turning from a beautiful and holy sixteen-winged angel into a bald, fleshy-winged creature, the Angel of Holy Light also felt somewhat uncomfortable.

“I found the crystal wall! Next is to attempt to break it open from the inside. Judge!”

Raising the holy sword high, a milky-white halo flickered. The Feathers of Heaven moved with the wind, returning to the Angel of Holy Light’s back. He once again turned into a holy sixteen-winged angel. Holy power gathered, ultimately concentrating the milky-white halo into the holy sword, making the holy sword look incomparably dazzling.

There seemed to be a massive suction force in the surroundings. The more power He released, the more abnormally fast His power was consumed.

“This place is too bizarre, constantly absorbing my power at every moment. I must increase the output, concentrate!”

The holy power on the holy sword gradually faded, or rather concentrated at the tip of the sword. Unimaginable brilliance bloomed on that glint of cold light. The angel swung the holy sword, and the holy light turned into a ray, piercing straight at the crystal wall. He exerted great effort to draw a circle, actually breaking the crystal wall open, and escaped.

Vacuum, a desolate universe, an elliptical galaxy. There were a hundred thousand stars distributed just like this in this desolate universe, making the Angel of Holy Light dizzy for a moment.

“Before the Wizard World ascended, it only had a few hundred suns. Now it has actually expanded to nearly a hundred thousand! It’s simply inconceivable! How did they achieve this step? Could it be they really had the help of an upper-layer world?”

This reminded Holy Light of the scene back in the Blue Blood World, when the wizards overthrew His faith and inadvertently helped Him escape the control of the Vice-Regent.

At that time, Holy Light used Holy Flames to directly burn the Vice-Regent who betrayed Him to ashes; not even the soul remained.

But in His weakened state, He had already discovered the anomaly in the Underworld: the opponent had already dealt with the vengeful spirit of the Blue Blood Progenitor Giant. Holy Light had finally managed to advance to a Pseudonymous One; He didn’t want to take any more risks, and decisively returned to His own world.

After that, He caught the eye of the Radiant Sun in the True Name World, advanced to a Named One in the shortest amount of time, and became the Radiant Sun’s Vice-Regent. Everything was like a dream. After becoming a Named One, personally overseeing the invasion of lower-layer worlds greatly increased the Angel of Holy Light’s experience.

After conquering His fifth lower-layer world alone, He decided to return to that world He had hastily fled from originally, and take back everything that belonged to Him.

He just didn’t expect that this time it would turn into a quagmire. It was clearly just a lower-layer world, yet it actually grew stronger with every battle. In the end, it actually ascended to the same layer, and developed so powerfully in such a short time.

“Behind the opponent, there is definitely a powerful world. Perhaps a powerful world on our layer, perhaps on an even higher layer?”

He tilted His head up, fear in His eyes; there seemed to be a terrifying doomsday judgment.

“Regardless, such a world with growth potential, such a terrifying civilization, is an immense threat. I must find a way to wipe them out! Otherwise, we will never have a day of peace.”

The Angel of Holy Light, with a complex state of mind, didn’t linger long before discovering that several powerful wizards had spotted Him. He fled in a sorry state, ultimately plunging into that galaxy composed of stars.

This was a period of hiding here and there. The Angel of Holy Light was ultimately extremely lucky to evade layer after layer of searches. He possessed a Mythical Wizard, took back His own sub-plane, turned into a stream of light, and fled from here.

Navigating at sub-light speed for nearly half a year, He finally found the True Name World and reported everything to His Majesty Radiant Sun.

Looking at the sleeping Angel of Holy Light, a hint of a smile appeared at the corners of Ace’s mouth.

“Just let Him continue to sleep in a beautiful dream. Perhaps to Him, this is a happy world; reality is too cruel.”

With a swirl of dream mist, the outer Dream Realm disappeared, surging into the isolated alternate dimension, completely wrapping the Angel of Holy Light, plunging Him into an endless dream world.

“Using the Angel of Holy Light’s method, I can find the location of the opponent’s world. This is the greatest piece of information. By pinpointing the other world, I have already grasped the initiative in this dark Astral Plane.

“As for the rest, this world is indeed quite interesting. The strongest deities are called Lords of Time, twenty-six in total. Among them, the Lords of True Time number twenty in total, called True Lords of Time. The remaining six represent non-existent time, called Outer Lords of Time.

“A day in the True Name World is twenty hours. The extra six are in the Outer Realm of Time, often opposing the True Lords of Time.

“The Outer Lords of Time exist in a smaller world outside the True Name World. The two worlds seem to orbit and entangle each other. This current state of opposition and orbiting seems to have originated from an indescribable Dark War.

“The reason the True Name World is called the True Name World is because the most important thing here is a true name. For example, the Lords of Time: Their true name is Time. Named Ones also possess Their own true names, and can bestow a part of Their true name to others, thus They are also called Name Bestowers.

“Lords of Time and Named Ones are the power sources for others. As for other supernaturals, they are called the Bestowed.

“There is also a hierarchy here. The full title of a Pseudonymous One is a Venerable One who borrows a Divine Name. Some borrow the names of Named Ones, some borrow from Lords of Time, and their power is even comparable to Named Ones.

“Truly an interesting world. Perhaps I can explore and scout it out first.”

Ace’s projection pushed the ring out of His sub-plane, called Betty and the others over, and told Them they could dispose of these Named Ones as they saw fit.

“Except for killing them, you can do any experiments you want to do. But remember, you must not kill them. Because we haven’t found Their Fruits of Immortality, this means once we kill Them, They might resurrect in the True Name World.

“I suggest you conduct your research in a Heat Death environment. This kind of environment can isolate external interference and prevent accidents.”

After giving everyone some instructions, Ace’s projection achieved spiritual resonance with His true body. Ace, in the world’s rule layer, instantly gained insight into everything.

“It is not easy for my true body to leave. Firstly, the Wizard World still needs me to enhance its foundation. Based on the distance between the two worlds, I estimate the opponent will need at least ten years to realize something is wrong and chase the Wizard World again. As long as I reasonably make the Wizard World flee, I estimate we have at least ten or even twenty years.

“In other words, during this period, I can use high-dimensional rifts to enhance the foundation of the Wizard World to hundreds of thousands or even tens of millions of stars.

“Secondly, my power is too overwhelming for the True Name World. It’s impossible to enter silently. In that case, sneaking in would turn into an invasion. A single person invading and conquering a world is almost impossible to succeed.

“Even if it’s a projection, I shouldn’t dispatch a True God-level projection. It’s best to use an ordinary clone with hardly any strength to minimize the possibility of being discovered as much as possible.”

Thinking of this, Ace simply had His True God projection escort a clone formed of a wisp of dream thought, heading toward the dynamic coordinates of the True Name World.

Ace had a total of two True God-level projections. One projection used curvature jumps to head to the True Name World, while the other organized a portion of the Mythical Wizards to go to the surface of the crystal wall outside the world to carry out a massive project.

At the convergence points of the three hundred million flagellum-like Magic Net threads on the surface of the Wizard World’s crystal wall, three hundred million controllable nuclear fusion thrusters were deployed.

According to Ace’s mathematical model estimates, as long as one-tenth of this project was completed, the Wizard World could navigate at one-tenth the speed of light. If fully completed, it was estimated it could navigate at twenty-seven percent of the speed of light, and could even briefly accelerate to thirty percent of the speed of light.

Such a movement speed was sufficient to play hide-and-seek with the True Name World for a very long time.

As for world-class curvature jumping, it was basically difficult to achieve. The volume of the Wizard World was simply too massive. The four-dimensional state was a particle cluster, not a single four-dimensional micro-particle. And Ace’s power could at most make a four-dimensional micro-particle jump. The richer the three-dimensional foundation of a four-dimensional micro-particle, the harder it is to jump.

Because three-dimensional richness is actually an increase in “mass” in the fourth dimension. The greater the mass, the harder it is to jump.

The over five hundred Legendary Immortal Wizards didn’t have time to do this low-level work. They were busy improving their own strength, heading to four-dimensional space-time to observe and record the dynamic curvature data of the fluctuating four-dimensional ocean, using this data and the naturally formed Level 6 runes to exchange for secret treasury exchange points.

On the one hand, to pay off their loans; on the other hand, to exchange for more spells and magical items.

Secret treasury exchange points had also unknowingly become the most valuable hard currency in the Wizard World, and the Legendary Immortal Wizards were also growing rapidly.

Time flew by. Three months passed in the blink of an eye. Ace’s True God projection finally arrived at the True Name World under the alternation of curvature jumps and sub-light-speed flight. Looking from afar, the True Name World looked like a binary star system.

One large and one small world orbited each other. In the middle of the two worlds was a long tube, firmly locking the two worlds together.

“Long-distance navigation in the Astral Plane is truly not easy. The deities of the True Name World haven’t mastered the profound mysteries of curvature jumping, merely relying on sub-light-speed navigation. In fact, their range of influence has a limit. But even I haven’t truly mastered curvature navigation. Being able to use curvature jumping like an instinct is probably something only Level 6 existences can achieve.”

Ace’s True God projection sighed while taking out a brilliant crystal. That was the crystal hiding the clone formed of a wisp of Ace’s dream thought.
