Chapter 598: Chapter 369: Hierarchy and Order_2
Pamom looked at Su Jie, a hint of a smile in his eyes.
On the surface, he seemed to be saving Pupeng, but in fact, he was showing off his influence in Siam to Su Jie through this act.
“Haha!”
Su Jie merely scoffed and said to those in front, “Anyone who dares to disrupt the order again, shall be killed without mercy.”
At the scene, the soldiers of the Jieke Group responsible for the security pulled their gun bolts and aimed forward.
The Genetic Warriors from Steel Camp also stepped forward, their cold eyes peering down from beneath their Biological Armor.
That forbidding gaze and the array of high-powered Heavy Weapons instilled fear in the previously jostling crowd.
These Genetic Warriors, each with their hands stained with fresh blood and human lives, bore a gaze that made the civilians immediately realize that those standing before them were not ordinary Siamese military police but ruthless killers who wouldn’t hesitate to take a life.
Suddenly, the previously wave-like pushing crowd came to a halt, and the scene turned calm.
The people in the front began to move back, and the police, upon seeing the Jieke Group’s serious manner, immediately shut their mouths, knowing full well the fearsomeness of the Steel Camp Soldiers.
“Bald donkey, seems like your prestige isn’t enough to make them rush to their deaths willingly, huh!”
Su Jie spoke in a frivolous tone, and Pamom’s facial expression stiffened slightly.
Behind him, the High Monks also felt embarrassed, having originally wanted to cause some commotion, only to be suppressed in an instant.
“Proceed with the execution.”
Baiya, seeing the situation clearly, no longer hesitated and sternly gave the order.
But the executioner was also a Buddhist, and he did not comply with Baiya’s order immediately.
Seeing this, Baiya strode forward, took the remote control from the bewildered executioner’s hand, and pressed it down hard, executing the sentence himself.
Suddenly, the electrically controlled guillotine was activated, and the sharp, massive guillotine started to rise under hydraulic pressure.
“Monk King, save me, Monk King!”
Upon seeing the scene, Pupeng cried out in horror.
He had thought that the appearance of the Monk King was his savior, but the guillotine had still been activated.
Pamom wanted to say something, but Baiya had already pressed the final button, not wishing to create unnecessary trouble.
As the safety valve closed, the hefty guillotine at the top, influenced by gravity, slashed down toward Pupeng’s fragile human neck below.
With a cringe-inducing snap, a copious amount of blood spurted from the neck.
Pupeng’s head tumbled to the ground like a ball, his eyes still filled with unwillingness, seemingly unable to believe that even with the Monk King’s intervention, he would meet with a beheading.
“Amitabha!”
Pamom closed his eyes, chanting in Sanskrit, seemingly performing a ritual to guide Pupeng’s departed soul to salvation.
His solemn and respectful chanting involuntarily invoked a sense of awe in listeners; even those who did not understand could feel an inexplicable sense of peace.
As Pamom chanted, the crowd below spontaneously began to follow and pray along, filling the air with a powerful chorus of transcendent Sanskrit hymns.
Su Jie, however, watched Pamom with a smirk that was not quite a smile, seeing through his pretense.
For Pupeng’s soul had already flown into the Ten Thousand Soul Banner he held, evidently, Pamom’s guiding was for naught but loneliness.
If he truly had the power, he wouldn’t have let the soul enter Su Jie’s Soul Banner.
It could only be said that Pamom, this charlatan, had a not so shoddy professional conduct, at least capable of fooling those Buddhist believers to some degree, but facing Su Jie, one who knew the ropes, was nothing more than child’s play.
After all, Su Jie had encountered Buddhist monks from the Secret Realm with supernatural powers, those from the Righteous sect’s Lingfa Temple, who were in a league of their own compared to Pamom, this utterly powerless counterfeit.
Even the monks from Lingfa Temple Su Jie had personally thrashed, so for Pamom to try to put on airs in front of Su Jie was simply wishful thinking.
“Amitabha, Baiya, you’ve made a grave mistake this time. After committing such acts, how do you expect to reach the Western Paradise?”
After completing the soul-releasing rites, Pamom shook his head at Baiya.
“Monk King, Mr. Su is right. Pupeng is beyond redemption, and death is the best destination for him.”
Baiya’s face showed an ugly expression, his heart filled with scorn.
If I hadn’t taken action just now, it wouldn’t be just my older brother Pupeng facing the guillotine, I too would’ve gotten a taste of it and headed to the Western Paradise ahead of schedule.
For Baiya, Pamom was merely a threat to his throne, while Su Jie held the power over his life and could enact it immediately; Baiya made what he believed to be the wisest choice.
“So-called Buddhism isn’t that influential in Siam, is it!”
Su Jie was quite satisfied with Baiya’s astuteness. If Baiya had hesitated just now, Su Jie wouldn’t have minded replacing him with someone else for the throne. After all, three-legged toads are hard to find, but two-legged people are everywhere.
But for now, it seemed Baiya was quite aware of his role as a puppet.
Pamom sighed, seemingly coming to an understanding, and said, “Mr. Su, I see your determination. Now that Pupeng has gone to the Western Paradise, I shall not trouble you further.”
“Hold on!”
As Pamom was about to leave, Su Jie called out to stop him.
Pamom turned his head, not sure what Su Jie meant.
“I hear you’re in charge of the High Monk Committee. Send this committee under the name of Jieke Group, awaiting Jieke Group’s directives and management.”
Su Jie gave the instruction nonchalantly, as if giving an order to a subordinate.
“What, you dare to take control of our High Monk Committee, you’ve got some nerve.”
“Stop your nonsense! Do you think we are just anybody? We are the symbol of the Siamese people’s spiritual beliefs.”
“You have already plagued the Siam Royal Family and now you even want to extend your devilish reach into our sacred Buddhism. I will never allow you to wreak havoc as you please.”
When the monks heard this, they became intensely agitated. Su Jie’s statement made it clear that he wanted to take control of Buddhism, turning it into an instrument under his command, just like he had played with the Siam Royal Family. How could the monks present accept this?
The monks did not know that in calling Su Jie a devil, they were actually spot on.
Su Jie looked at Pamom and said, “You’re their leader, aren’t you going to say anything?”
“Amitabha, Mr. Su, your greed is too heavy. You should know that the five emotions–greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance, and evil–are the five poisons of the human body, with greed being the foremost. If left unchecked, disaster will inevitably follow. For every act of greed you commit, there is karma and judgment. Do not let greed cloud your judgment. These false joys are just illusions. You should learn to understand your true nature and the value of letting go. To give is to receive.”
Pamom spoke gravely, giving Su Jie an earful.
“I didn’t come here to listen to your sermons. If you disagree, just say so! I’m not one to force my way, no need to compare me to a bandit.”
Su Jie chuckled, then turned to Liu Yingying and said, “Yingying, relay my orders. Siam, no, including Chan Country, Zhenla, Lancang, An Nan–Buddhism there needs a complete overhaul. Our Jieke Group will take it upon ourselves to purge the internal maladies within their Buddhism, teaching them how to coexist with Jieke Group.”

Liu Yingying understood Su Jie’s intentions and immediately picked up her phone to start organizing people.
“Mr. Su, do you really intend to carry out such a bandit’s deed? Cease this at once.”
Pamom’s eyes widened, enraged by Su Jie. He had lived so long, yet this was the first time he had seen someone so shameless.
“The act of a bandit? Heh, we are simply teaching you Buddhists. Letting you understand who truly rules here. The people do not need a spiritual leader who rises above them.”
Su Jie shrugged his shoulders, as several Genetic Warriors stepped forward, starting to hold down Pamom’s shoulders. Su Jie sneered and continued, “You see, we are the new rulers here. As the owners, if there are unruly kids in the house, naturally, we need to educate them, helping them understand what should and shouldn’t be done. That’s what creates order and hierarchy. Do you understand?”
