Chapter 175: New runic stones!
‘I see. Pure-blooded Baldwins are born with ridiculous potential. Unawakened typically can’t increase their stats to 50 points. I was able to do it with the help of my system because I am a Baldwin. No wonder the best among the servants of Chaos didn’t have stats as high as me. Even GhostWalker, a powerful chaotic being, was barely my equal in terms of stats.’
Before removing two limiters, his stats were better than boss type monster of the tenth level. That wasn’t humanely possible. Heck, even chaotic beings, those who have given up their humanity, couldn’t attain 50 points in each of their basic stats. GhostWalker, a priest of Chaos that intentionally decreased his rank to the level of a servant, only had stats around Roy. From that point alone, it could be seen how lucky he was to be born as a Baldwin.
The author hadn’t written much about the Baldwins as he had killed them off in the first paragraph of the first chapter of the novel.
But Roy didn’t need to read a novel about Baldwins to realize that they were different than everyone else in the Far West Major Realm.
‘Maybe only the emperor’s bloodline can compare to my bloodline.’
Immediately Roy kicked that idea out of his mind and corrected himself.
‘No, I am certain Delilah’s origin isn’t simple either. I have checked her stats, and her stamina was above 50 without the help of runic items when we first met. Her basic stats are between 40-60. Her stamina is ridiculously high; it has reached 60 points. And her HP is at 25. I initially thought it must be because she is a weapon master. But this time, I guessed wrong. Her basic potential is higher than a pure-blooded Baldwin like me. There is something special about her for sure. Her bloodline might not be simple.’
Roy was too intensely staring at Delilah, finding her so beautiful and talented that he felt an irresistible urge to mark her as his own, and he heated up.
Delilah could, of course, feel someone’s heated gaze on her, and she turned to the source of that gaze, only to realize that Roy was eying her like a predator staring at its prey.
She blinked her eyes at him, bewildered.
“Have you fallen for my charms?”
Standing five feet away from Roy, she chuckled.
Roy was obviously not in love with her.
‘It’s my instinct speaking.’
He looked away from her and focused somewhere else.
‘Just when I confirmed her bloodline was special like mine, I felt an urge to have a baby with her. Why did I feel like that?’
Roy appeared to be even more confused than Delilah.
Just then, a youthful and curious voice belonging to one of the twins woke Roy from his thoughts.
“Are we just going to leave them here?”

“No way, right?
Reflected in Maya and Aydin’s eyes were treasures too valuable.
“… but how do we get the cores and runic stones out of the electric field?”
Julian was initially angry when he saw a crow trying to pick up a runic stone.
– But his anger died down and turned to shock when lightning burst out of the electric field and struck the crow exploding it.
Even for that, the system’s notification sounded in Roy’s mind.
『Ding! You indirectly killed an lv 1 monster. You gained 10 EXP.』
The Elder Moon Reaper had dropped a few too many things, but they were trapped by a black electric field that was showing no signs of dying out.
Julian and the twins were lost deep in thoughts, but no matter how much they thought, they couldn’t think of a way to pull the stones of power out of the electric field.
“It’s my creation. It won’t make sense if it harms me.”
With that, Roy approached the electric field with calm, stable steps.
All eyes turned to him.
Amelia worried for his safety.
Delilah was curious to see what would happen when he neared the electric field, but she was also all set and ready to save him if he got electrocuted.
Arlo scratched his head.
‘Aura lightning can harm its creator, but since his black lightning is so different than the normal, maybe it won’t.’
Roy approached the field, and nothing happened, and even when he walked through the electric field in order to pick up the loot, nothing happened.
『You have looted an Elder Moon Reaper’s corpse』
『You gained the rune stone of wind manipulation』
『You gained 2× Wind Elemental Core』
『You gained 5× Beast Cores』

One man was inside an electric field that demons and monsters dared not approach.
It was quite a spectacle.
“Lookout!”
Just as Roy was about to leave it, the electric field turned into streaks of lightning that pounced on him, but he didn’t even bother dodging as he had 100% resistance against black lightning, and his sixth sense wasn’t tingling.
All the streaks vanished into him.
『Gained 100+ streaks of black lightning』
『You can push it out of your body whenever you like』
‘Oh, they have settled in my blood vessels, and I feel like I can summon them with just a thought. What a surprise.’
Roy was pleased.
Now that he had multiple streaks in his blood vessels, he didn’t need to go through the troublesome process of creating Black Aura Lightning
To have lightning in one’s body was quite a magical feeling.
The beast core and the elemental core were stored in his subspace.
They continued heading North West.
“Lord Arlo… is it fine if I refer to you like that?”
Maya tried to strike up a conversation with the bald man.
Unlike her brother, she was quite social and outgoing, and it was hard and almost suffocating for her not to chat with others.
“Just call me sir.”
Arlo continued moving, leading the group deeper into this land.
The further they went inside, the colder it got.
But the fireballs, summoned by Roy, hovering around them kept them warm.
“Okay, sir! How far are we from the Warm Lands?” Maya asked.
Arlo replied, “If we walk continuously for 12 hours, we will reach it.”
