Since we barely make any profit from our site, I will close the site and turn it into a Blogger blog where I will publish the two most famous novels on the site. After we finish translating the novels, we will close it.

Father Gu was waiting outside the Ancestral Hall with a deep and tranquil expression mixed with a hint of concern.
He glanced at the Nirvana Pond from time to time, sensing the aura inside.
Gu Changge’s cultivation perplexed him, jumping from the True supreme-ruler Realm to the Heavenly supreme-ruler Realm, and even the Quasi-Sacred Realm at times… He was speechless, for this was the first time he had witnessed such a thing.
Gu Xian’er sat crossed-legged inside, Immortal Qi seeping into her body, pouring into her newborn Fairy Bones. She sat like a female immortal, reciting scriptures for the next incarnation.
Although it wasn’t as mysterious as Gu Changge’s, her aura was also improving.
As for the other three, they were completely negligible.
“Changge, he has his own thoughts. And as a father, I shouldn’t ask too much, but I must find a way to conceal the existence of the Devil Heart for him…”
Father Gu murmured softly, as various visions appeared in his eyes.
Then, with a wave of his palm, a layer of fluctuations appeared, separating the aura of the Ancestral Hall from the outside.
Unless he went inside, even he himself would find it a little difficult to see what was going on. However, he still chose to isolate the fluctuations in the area.
Currently, restricting the curiosity of the rest of the clan was necessary. Otherwise, they’d likely rush inside to have a look, especially those Ancestors who have nothing better to do.
‘Xian’er’s ancestor, Gu Nanshan appears to have been rather idle recently, anxiously waiting for the benefits she’ll get from the Nirvana Pond.’
‘If that old ancestor comes later, I’ll have to devise a means to keep him at bay.’
Father Gu became increasingly serious as he considered this, and with a wave of his sleeve, he closed the portal to the Main Hall and stood guard outside the hall to prevent anyone from approaching.
“This is the only way to be safe, and I believe in Changge’s perseverance. There will be no mishaps.”
Father Gu reassured himself. This was a father who had faith in his son.
Rumble!
At the same time, thousands of hazy rays, lights of supreme brilliance, gushed forth like a large river, as even mysterious Immortal lights diffused throughout the Ancestral Hall.
The momentum granted by the Nirvana Pond was truly astounding.
Gu Changge’s form was magnificent and immovable, his entire aura palpitated as if it would wrap everyone nearby and devour them.
Unlike the rest, his consciousness was calm, undisturbed by any visions.
The Nirvana Pond was originally constructed for the Gu Family’s bloodline to allow future generations to transform.
However, his innate talent, the Devil Heart, and many of his other abilities were also tied to the system.
Nevertheless, because they all carried the bloodline’s aura, they all underwent the transformation.
Buzz!
Layers of brilliance appeared near the Nirvana Pond, with different auras sinking in, and the Supreme Talents of Samsara and Void manifested.
On top of that, Gu Changge had devoured many of the Young Supremes’ talents.
Many more talents such as Geng Jin, Chi Yang, Tai Yin1… and various other talents manifested, seeming extremely mysterious.
Finally, amid all the chaos, the sensation of a crack appearing in the sky was felt.
All the Transcendence Bones exchanged from the System Shop emitted a roar in unison, as the Great Dao Law burst forth like a waterfall.
Of course, Gu Changge did not care too much for such things. The Nirvana Pond wasn’t anything to scoff at, but – with his current cultivation – he’d only advance to the middle stage of the Sacred Realm at best.
‘The feeling that was vaguely transmitted to me from this Devil Heart is a little strange… familiar, almost. It’s the same with the Eight Desolate Demon Halberd.’
‘Am I the Demon Lord?’
Gu Changge frowned, always feeling that his other self in the Devil Heart brought problems, more problems than just Gu Xian’er and Yue Mingkong.
Although, the system had now resolved the drawbacks of the Devil Heart…
But either with or without Demonic Nature, it was still all him.
He didn’t believe that the present version of him acted any differently compared to the one with Demonic Nature.
Speaking of which, this Demonic Nature was the root cause of him killing Yue Mingkong in his previous life, as well as digging up Gu Xian’er’s Dao Bones.
He did all of it with his own two hands, Gu Changge couldn’t refuse it even if he wanted to. And yet he must continue to blame his Demonic Nature.
‘It’s just that from this aura, the Devil Heart’s origin seems quite ominous… The Nirvana Pond reflects one’s past life. Was I not a transmigrator in my previous life? Is there still something yet to come that I’m unaware of?’
Gu Changge frowned slightly, feeling a bit tricked.
‘Is the Heart testing me…?’
Soon, he stopped paying attention to it.
After all, whether it was the Devil Heart or whether he truly was the Demon Lord, it had nothing to do with the current him.
The Demonic Nature, according to him, was just a colder and heartless state of him… Gu Changge could now let the Demonic Nature cover his thoughts at any time, thus reaching the point where he was void of any emotions.
In such a state, he will act with absolute indifference. Unlike now, he will no longer have to worry about his personal emotions.
To which extent will this Demonic Nature affect him? He would no longer look at anyone other than himself.
For Gu Changge, this was certainly not something he’d be willing to accept.
The whole purpose of his cultivation was to gain strength, not betrayals.
If his Demonic Nature took over, there would be little difference between him and the ‘Gu Changge’ from the timeline Yue Mingkong experienced.
Gu Changge didn’t consider himself to be a good person, but he also didn’t think he was that void of emotions either.
Yue Mingkong and a few others, in his eyes, were different from the rest… to a certain extent.
‘The Devil Heart does not influence me. My consciousness was initially suppressed by the Demonic Nature, although this was merely due to its enormous accumulation…’
Many thoughts flashed through Gu Changge’s mind.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
At that moment, he heard the sound of the Devil Heart beating.
The heart-pounding sound was similar to a powerful drum banging between the heavens and earth.
The monstrous Demonic Nature began to manifest itself from within the heart.
The Eight Desolate Demon Halberd let out a leaping cheer within the Weapon Storage Space, seemingly overjoyed at its master’s enlightenment of his true heart.
Buzz!
A black light erupted from within his veins, with an aura that could make the entire world tremble!
As Gu Changge explored his Devil Heart, he suddenly sensed a supreme and ancient aura within.
There were faint sounds of strange scriptures, endless prostrations and chants, echoing in his ears.
If one were to look closely, they would see the supreme Demon Lord reigning over the Nine Heavens and Ten Regions, above the heavens and earth.
Behind him was a monstrous shadow, amidst the surging grey fog, holding a fierce halberd that threatened the universe, standing indifferently in the sky.
Boom!
The demon halberd swept down.
Time and space collapsed at once, confining and destroying the cycle of reincarnation.
The universe appeared to be split open, the True Immortals beneath it fell, and the Immortal King was slain!
Although these visions appeared incomprehensible and would make people fall into madness…
Despite the fact the face of the unparalleled Demon Lord was obscured, Gu Changge was certain it was… himself!
‘Is this the so-called past life? A past life where I was a Demon Lord?’
‘Or could it be a vision of the future?’
Gu Changge had an epiphany the very next moment, as the visions disappeared.
In the dark, he sensed that his Devil Heart had experienced a transformation, resulting in an unfathomable and mysterious change.
Perhaps now it should be called the Indomitable Devil Heart.
That said, it would still be up to him to find out what benefits there might be.
Gu Changge soon opened his eyes, taking the initiative to withdraw from the state of absorbing the subtle Aura of Creation within the Nirvana Pond.
After all, his primary goal of entering the Nirvana Pond had been accomplished, and the next step of his plan was to take action on Gu Xian’er!
To perfectly stage a bitter and tragic drama!
Buzz!
In the next moment, Gu Changge’s aura changed.
A wisp of Demonic Intent began to emerge from his body.
His face abruptly turned indifferent, and all of his emotions seemed to vanish at that moment, leaving behind only apathy that made hearts tremble.
If the Great Dao was supposed to be heartless, then Gu Changge’s current state was more similar to the Great Dao than anything else in the realm.
Emotionless! Heartlessness!
“Young Master!”
“What’s going on? How is…”
This startling change was immediately noticed by the three Young Supremes of the Gu Family, who were cultivating their bloodline transformation besides the Nirvana Pond.
They witnessed a shocking scene upon opening their eyes.
They simply couldn’t believe it.
Their rosy faces instantly turned pale.
They then hastily withdrew from the cultivation state, feeling a horrible killing intent that had completely enveloped them.
As if sinking into a cellar of ice, the Young Supremes felt their bodies freeze. Not one of them dared to even lift a finger.
It was as if they had been turned into mere humble ants under the Great Dao, where even a single thought could crush them to death.
They couldn’t figure out why Gu Changge, who had been cultivating so peacefully up until now, suddenly turned out this way.
Gu Changge’s presence made them tremble, their bodies were frigid, and their souls appeared to be frozen and shattered!
It was as if a single thought from Gu Changge would cause the three of them to explode at the Nirvana Pond in a moment, destroying their bodies and souls.
“Young Master, we are from the same clan…”
“Young Master, please come to your senses!”
They trembled and opened their mouths, hoping to communicate with Gu Changge, trying to reason with him.
After all, nothing could have possibly prepared them for this.
Who could have predicted Gu Changge’s change?
Gu Changge glanced at them with indifference, his face cold and unfeeling, as if they were nothing more than little ants who stood beneath his feet.
But though he seemingly did not care whether they lived or died, the three could clearly tell that there was a trace of struggle and reluctance on Gu Changge’s face.
It seemed… that Gu Changge felt extremely unwilling about something.
“Could it be that the Young Master got himself into trouble and screwed up his cultivation, entering Demonic Possession?”
One person’s voice trembled, as he immediately realised that the current Gu Changge looked very much like the rumoured Demonic Possession.
“He was fine just a minute ago, how could he have entered Qi Deviation in such a way? Quickly, go find the Patriarch and Clan Elders!!!”
Another person yelled for those outside to immediately seek help, as they simply couldn’t be Gu Changge’s opponent. Putting up any resistance would be futile.
But no one responded.
Looking at them trying to flee, Gu Changge’s unfeeling expression shifted slightly. With a wave of his palm, a surging five-coloured supreme light burst out.
Puff!
The trio of Young Supremes flew upside down while spewing blood, and slammed into the wall behind them before passing out, with no one knowing whether they were alive or dead.
“Gu Changge…”
This rumble finally alarmed Gu Xian’er, who was in her cultivation state beside the Nirvana Pond.
She had been in a deeper meditation compared to the others, so she didn’t notice the changes in her surroundings right away.
Waking up to the scene of three men stuck like swatted flies on a wall truly made her astonished and thoroughly perplexed.
She didn’t know what happened to the three and didn’t have time to look into it.
However, her analysis of the situation was instant.
She could tell that Gu Changge’s current state appeared to be extremely abnormal and dangerous, despite the fact that his physical body appeared to be completely normal, with no oddity or strangeness.
But his indifferent look reminded her of the time when she was young. About that time when he had dug out her Dao Bones.
‘It’s the same… exactly the same inhumane look.’
Being reminded of that day sent a dreaded shiver down Gu Xian’er’s back.
“Gu Changge, what’s the matter with you?” Gu Xian’er asked, secretly raising her defences and circulating her aura.
At this moment, Gu Changge’s aura had reached the Quasi-Sacred Realm, rather than the True supreme-ruler Realm that he usually displayed.
This stunned Gu Xian’er even more, as she became increasingly worried.
Gu Changge was too strong now. The Nirvana Pond couldn’t have progressed his cultivation so much so quickly.
But that could only mean Gu Changge had been deceiving the entire world… lying about and covering up his true Cultivation Base.
Gu Changge was already in the Quasi-Sacred Realm before today.
But only now had he finally revealed it.
‘I’m still a little short of breaking through to the False supreme-ruler Realm. If Gu Changge strikes at me now, it will be impossible to stop him with my strength alone.’ Gu Xian’er knew that clearly.
As a result, a dark-gold sword pill soon manifested inside her palm.
The aura of the Sacred Realm pervaded throughout the pill.
This was a secret treasure.
She planned to use it to keep Gu Changge at bay for a while, and then take the opportunity to go outside the hall and summon the rest of the clan.
Otherwise… she would be in grave danger.
‘For him to suddenly be like this… what exactly happened to Gu Changge? He was just in the middle of the transformation process earlier.’
‘Did he forget the oath he swore in front of the Heavenly Dao Ancient City and the Great Elder?’
Gu Xian’er’s brows furrowed tightly.
‘Could this be related to the hidden secret back then? Was Gu Changge also like this at that time…?’
Gu Xian’er’s heart was suddenly startled as she thought of this.
Suddenly, the way she looked at Gu Changge changed.
Just a moment ago, there was a strong sense of caution, disbelief, confusion, and bewilderment. But now there was also a sense of complexity mixed in, as well as a hint of curiosity to find out the truth.
“The second transformation of the Fairy Bones, hm? To think that leaving you alive back then almost became a scourge on my being. I never thought that you would give your brother such a big surprise.”
Gu Changge appeared to see through Gu Xian’er’s plan at this moment. Terrifying and unusual, a demonic-looking sword light erupted through the air between his fingers, clashing against the sword pill in her hands.
At the same time, he approached Gu Xian’er, his face cold and apathetic.
Gu Xian’er did not expect Gu Changge to respond so quickly in such a state. Despite just barely noticing it, he was still able to destroy her secret weapon the very moment she took it out.
Buzz!
She then sacrificed an incomparably large, greenish-black Heavenly Luo Umbrella, unfolding between heaven and earth. With a veiled light descending, and a wave of her small hand, trying to suppress Gu Changge.
This was also an incredibly strong secret treasure.
Snicker!
However, with a casual flick of Gu Changge’s hand, the terrifying Divine Chain of Order came piercing through the void. The strong secret treasure was instantly torn apart, unable to withstand it for even a moment.
“How can this be… this guy is powerful to such an extent.”
“With a flick of his hand, he destroyed a Sacred-grade weapon…”
Gu Xian’er’s small face was pale. With her current strength, just using a single sacred weapon would consume a lot of Qi, so using two in a row was certainly not a modest consumption.
As a result, she was now left without any Qi whatsoever to oppose Gu Changge.
As she thought of this, Gu Xian’er made up her mind.
Now, for both Gu Changge’s sake and her own, she couldn’t afford to hesitate any longer.
She planned to sacrifice the treasure given to her by the masters of Peach Village.
The Heavenly Secret Treasure…
However, it was as if Gu Changge saw right through her foolish thoughts.
Boom!
Gu Changge’s movement was even faster than hers, so fast that the void seemed to collapse with a dreadful sense of immobilisation.
It was as if a billion-pound boulder had descended from the Heavens!
It immediately suppressed her, making it difficult for her to move even a bit.
She couldn’t even wiggle her fingers.
Buzz!
The void trembled, as Gu Changge slowly walked forwards.
A palm swiftly reached over, strangling her neck, and lifting her up.
“Gu Changge…”
Gu Xian’er’s face began to turn pale as she ran out of breath.
Her newborn Fairy Bones had gone through a second metamorphosis, which contained a palpitating and terrible power.
This power was unrivalled, even eerily similar to the legendary power of True Immortals, which was the ultimate attacking supreme might.
But now, under Gu Changge’s terrible suppression, her Fairy Bone, let alone its awakening, was unable to perform its role in the slightest.
The aura it released was wiped away by his monstrous palm strike.
“Pathetic and foolish. Do you think I am not aware of your methods?”
Gu Changge spoke indifferently, as he dismissively mocked her.
Gu Xian’er’s face was pale, recalling the feelings of despair and powerlessness she had felt when she was younger.
A dark depression swept through her consciousness.
In her little “fight” with Gu Changge, she didn’t even have the opportunity to speak.
The disparity was simply too large.
No matter how much she cultivated, she just couldn’t catch up.
He was far too powerful, so much so that he could easily kill her if he wished to.
And Gu Changge was also well aware of all her trump cards. The Divine Weapons and Secret Treasures, given to her by her masters—
She didn’t even get the chance to use them.
‘Will I die here today? At the hands of Gu Changge…’
In a trance, Gu Xian’er’s consciousness grew colder, and she murmured in her heart as she fell into darkness.
She suddenly recalled the events within the Ancient Immortal Continent… in front of the Ancient City of the Heavenly Dao, Gu Changge appeared. His slender and upright back stood tall in front of her.
It was as if he’d gladly take on all her enemies for her.
That feeling made her nostalgic.
‘No wonder he wanted me to cultivate well so that I could be strong enough to defeat him one day…’
‘All of his past intentions were for today… so that I could have one more chance of surviving in front of him.’
Gu Xian’er had now figured it out.
In the past, why else would Gu Changge push her to cultivate through various and convoluted means? Even if it meant offending the Great Elder, he forced him to teach her well.
It was because he knew such a day would come… when he would make a move to kill her.
“This new Fairy Bone, your brother will accept it with a smile.”
Gu Changge spoke indifferently, seemingly unconcerned about Gu Xian’er’s current state.
Gu Xian’er looked at him with a surprisingly calm expression.
She didn’t even blame Gu Changge. She knew he was in a strange state, his Demonic Nature practically seeped out of his bones, making her shiver and quake.
“My Fairy Bone… if you want it, then take it.”
She was talking to herself, thinking that she couldn’t break free. Maybe it wasn’t so unacceptable to die at Gu Changge’s hands after all.
Her only regret… was that she still had a lot of things she wanted to do. Like finding the whereabouts of her missing parents and grandfather…
Buzz!
Gu Changge raised his other palm, which transformed into a supreme immortal sword. The brilliant sword light was intent on piercing Gu Xian’er’s body and digging out her immortal bone.
But at the next moment…
Gu Changge’s face was suddenly filled with a ferocious aura as if he were an overwhelming Demon Lord bent on destroying the heavens!
“Get… out!”
A low growl. It was so uncharacteristic of him that Gu Xian’er had to look up.
Up at the struggle and frigid coldness visible on his face.
The hand that was about to tear Gu Xian’er apart abruptly stopped in mid-air, trembling continuously, almost as if it were convulsing.
As though fighting a frightening force from an unknown and unfathomable source.
His expression still remained as indifferent as ever.
However, there were now more emotions evident.
Rage, cruelty, and aggression…
“Gu Changge…”
“What’s going on with you?”
Gu Xian’er was stunned, suddenly released by Gu Changge, falling to the ground when he did.
Her eyes were wide. She was just about to die, after all.
But, unexpectedly, Gu Changge let go of her at the most important moment? Why did he not continue to attack her?
Just what was going on?
Was it possible that more than one demonic entity was attempting to control his body and consciousness? And his original consciousness was resisting it and trying to regain control of his body?
Gu Xian’er soon reacted.
How else could she explain Gu Changge’s tremendous Demonic Nature and what he was currently doing?
“Gu Changge, what’s going on with you? How can I help you?”
Gu Xian’er couldn’t help but be anxious, overwhelmed with concern and worry.
At this moment, instead of being concerned about her own safety, she thought Gu Changge needed help and was facing a serious problem.
After all, judging from his actions just now, all this was clearly done involuntarily. He had no control over this situation.
He himself had absolutely no intention of killing her.
“Get out; I told you to get out. Don’t you understand? As far away as you can!”
At these words, Gu Changge snapped his eyes up to look at her.
His eyes were filled with a fierce aura, growling lowly, as if he was in some sort of struggle to regain control of his body.
His other hand was grasping his own right hand, which was blazing with a dazzling series of runes, as even the void trembled – seemingly on the verge of collapse – as a dangerous aura was unveiled.
It seemed as if he was about to make a move on Gu Xian’er, but was again held by the other hand in a deadly grip, halting its movements.
An extremely bizarre and strange scene.
But Gu Xian’er finally understood.
That Gu Changge’s right hand was no longer under his control, and he appeared to be on the verge of suppressing that terrifying Demonic Nature.
“I’m not leaving; I can help you. What should I do? Will it be helpful if I dig up my Fairy Bone and give it to you?”
Gu Xian’er asked anxiously. From her point of view, it didn’t seem like an unreasonable solution.
After all, Gu Changge was just trying to dig out her Fairy Bone, implying that the bones would be very useful to him.
“Get lost. A waste like you? Helping me? What can you do to help me? I do not need your bones nor anything else of yours.”
“I don’t want to kill you, because I don’t want to defile my hands. Gu Xian’er, get lost. Get as far away as you can, otherwise…“
Gu Changge gazed at her almost frantically as he snarled insults.
“Gu Changge, stop deceiving yourself, you arrogant maniac. How can you be so proud even in this state? Stop refusing to accept other people’s kindness and let me help…!”
Gu Xian’er’s voice trembled, and she was on the verge of crying out of anxiety.
Boom!
But Gu Changge couldn’t hear her words.
A more terrifying Demonic Aura instantly enveloped him, making him appear more cold and vicious, and the many emotions just now were nowhere to be seen.
“I gave you an opportunity to live, but you didn’t accept it. Instead, you waited for death, how foolish.” His face abruptly relaxed, as his indifference returned.
After saying that, his tremendous palm moved again, this time towards Gu Xian’er.
“Wake up, Gu Changge! Don’t let Demonic Nature take over your consciousness!”
Seeing this, Gu Xian’er’s face turned pale as she shouted, trying to wake up Gu Changge’s original consciousness.
Gu Changge’s consciousness was evidently now dominated by Demonic Nature once more; he was no longer the same person he was just now.
“I am me, why do I need to wake up?” Gu Changge’s eyes glinted sinisterly.
As his palm was about to fall upon Gu Xian’er…
The next moment, his expression changed again, like some schizophrenic maniac.
His voice was filled with cold and unrelenting anger, “Don’t touch her!”
With those words, Gu Changge’s indifferent demeanour turned to one of determination. The rune faded, before suddenly igniting once more.
Bang!
His entire right arm exploded with a bang.
As a result, Gu Changge seemed to relax.
The dreadful aura also came to a halt, and the Demonic Nature began to fade away like a tidal wave, receding into the far horizon.
He closed his eyes, and his expression returned to calm, as he stood motionless.
This scene completely stunned Gu Xian’er, as silent tears flowed down her cheeks.
“Gu Changge…”
Tears fell upon the pond and disappeared. Gu Xian’er was crying.
From her side of things, Gu Changge fought the Demonic Nature in his body in order to protect her and keep her safe.
How else could she explain his act of self-sacrifice?
But what Gu Xian’er didn’t notice, was that the glow on the peach blossom hidden behind her sleeve was now dimmed.
Hiding a vague phantom that couldn’t be seen clearly.
If Gu Changge really tried to kill her, the phantom on the peach blossom would’ve undoubtedly awakened, delivering a fatal blow to him.
This was something even Gu Xian’er was completely unaware of.
