Chapter 518: Miracle Will

You’re definitely no match for it. Don’t you know your own limits? But you have Suction Cup now, and she’s far more powerful than in any previous timeline… This type of domain creature is indeed formidable, likely enough to fill Suction Cup to bursting.

Once he confirmed he could hunt it, Feng Qi immediately formed a plan.

But just as he was about to grab Suction Cup and head north to hunt the red-haired gorilla, a black dot materialized before the gorilla, rapidly expanding into a swirling black hole.

A terrifying giant hand, larger than the gorilla itself, emerged from the black hole.

As the hand advanced, dense spatial cracks appeared around it, unleashing a violent wind that forced Feng Qi, standing far away, to struggle to maintain his footing.

Before Feng Qi’s incredulous eyes, the giant hand seized the red-haired gorilla.

The gorilla let out a bloodcurdling scream, then turned toward the spatial black hole, wailing as if begging for mercy.

The mysterious giant hand ignored the red-haired gorilla’s struggles, retracting and dragging the creature into the black spatial portal.

A distinct crunching sound echoed from within.

The spatial black hole slowly dissipated, and the terrifying pressure vanished with it.

Feng Qi: ……

The scene had been sudden and visually stunning.

Staring in the direction where the giant hand had disappeared, Feng Qi fell into deep thought.

He knew little about how the world had changed in the 1,500 years since his time.

While the Sacrifice Line intelligence was constantly updated, in the Dream Realm, he had always wandered near the Star City Ruins, never venturing further.

His knowledge of this future world was limited to occasional glimpses of terrifying creatures.

For instance, to the west, amidst the swirling clouds and flashes of thunder, a colossal figure would occasionally materialize, standing like a deity who had created heaven and earth. Even from a great distance, Feng Qi could feel the oppressive aura emanating from it.

Then there were the Sky Giant Beasts that frequently soared over the Star City Ruins, their wingspan like sun-obscuring clouds. Each flap of their wings brought a storm to the earth below.

And the chimera demon’s egg blocking the northern road.

And in his previous Dream Realm, the Dark God who had crossed space to find him.

Wait.

Through these terrifying creatures, Feng Qi realized that the world’s current state was far more brutal than the clandestine struggles of 1,500 years ago.

This must be the final competition before the Great Tide’s Descent.

Numerous Domain Forces and domain creatures, none of which had existed 1,500 years ago, had emerged.

In this brutal battle for survival resources, only the strongest races and factions had endured. The weaker ones had long been eliminated.

Meanwhile, the top-tier clans, having plundered vast resources, were undoubtedly still engaged in bloody wars of conquest.

This world was like a crucible for breeding gu worms.

With his current strength, Feng Qi was nearly invincible in the resource-scarce wasteland of the Star City Ruins, capable of crushing all opposition.

But challenging the top-tier clans that stood at the apex of this world would require far greater power.

As this thought crossed his mind, the soulfire within Feng Qi’s skull flickered.

Gazing in the direction where the giant hand had vanished, a wild ambition ignited in his heart.

He yearned for the day when he could travel to the future world of 1,500 years hence, reunite with the peak human race, and together challenge the top-tier clans of the domain world.

By then, the human race would be as mighty as dragons, rivaling any top-tier Domain Force.

He would join forces with the Future People to triumph in the Ten Thousand Clans Hegemony and confront the final Great Tide’s Descent head-on.

Just then, the Narrator’s voice echoed in his mind, interrupting his thoughts.

Hey, kiddo, let me cut in here. As the saying goes, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” You’ve barely taken a few steps, and you’re already dreaming of flying to the finish line? Get stronger first! Little Black’s first warning!

Ignoring the Narrator’s warning, Feng Qi continued east, Suction Cup in his arms.

His gaze swept across the desolate landscape.

At this moment, he almost wished a domain creature would attack him.

That way, he could gain innate abilities, bloodline evolution points, and take a small step toward a new stage of evolution.

The path ahead was littered with ruins.

The rusted steel rebar of collapsed buildings protruded from the rubble, snapping under the slightest pressure. The cracked and uneven road was overgrown with lush vegetation sprouting from the fissures.

The remnants of human civilization were on the verge of being completely erased.

Dissatisfied with walking, Feng Qi broke into a run, determined to explore more secrets of the future world.

He aimed to map out the power dynamics of this era, hoping to gather useful intelligence along the way.

Just then, the Narrator’s voice echoed in his mind:

If you want to understand the future world’s power dynamics, I suggest you heed the old woman’s advice and study domain studies at the Old Day City Academy. Most importantly, learn several domain languages. After all, besides the Domain Forces lurking within human society, the external Domain Forces don’t speak human languages. If you can’t even communicate, how can you hope to gather intelligence?

Feng Qi agreed with the Narrator’s reminder.

In the previous War Timeline, his lack of in-depth knowledge of domain studies and complete ignorance of the domain world’s writing systems had cost him many opportunities to gather intelligence.

Moreover, with humanity inevitably facing the brutal Ten Thousand Clans Hegemony in the future, studying domain studies would indeed help him obtain intelligence and understand the habits of various Domain Forces.

He decided to add the suggestion of studying domain studies at the Old Day City Academy to his Future Line plans.

Perhaps this would also give him a chance to contact the Spirit Energy Clan and learn more useful information.

As for whether to embark on this path in the next timeline, he planned to deliberate further after returning to reality.

While sprinting, Suction Cup perched on his right shoulder, her left arm wrapped around his head. Leaning forward, she raised her right arm high, striking a pose as if facing the raging wind head-on.

After running for some distance, a domain creature blocking their path came into view.

The domain creature’s appearance was utterly bizarre.

It had a humanoid form, standing approximately two meters tall. A fragmented metal plate covered its face, revealing a mouth stitched shut with metallic thread.

In its right hand, it wielded a strangely shaped iron hammer, the end of which pulsed with writhing flesh.

The domain creature resembled a grotesque patchwork monster, stitched together from mismatched parts.

Feng Qi didn’t hesitate. He sprinted toward the creature and delivered a vicious knee strike to its neck.

Crack!

The brutal impact sent the monster’s head flying.

As his feet landed, Feng Qi seized the creature’s arm and executed a shoulder throw.

Crack!

A sharp metallic snap echoed as the stitched monster crashed to the ground, its body shattering into pieces.

To his astonishment, Feng Qi discovered a purple-haired youth hidden within the creature’s remains.

The youth slowly rose, his eyes burning with murderous intent.

For some reason, Feng Qi found the purple-haired youth strangely familiar.

After a closer look, he suddenly exclaimed:

“Wait… Old Mist?!”
