Chapter 297: Information Cloud

Ace’s Mana in the Information Cloud state was still slowly draining away. In this No-Mana environment, he was like a balloon leaking air everywhere. Ace didn’t know if he would vanish after losing all his Mana. He attempted to transform his state but found it extremely difficult.

His Reverse Dreamification Spell Model couldn’t be said to have failed, but its operation was sluggish in this No-Mana environment, seemingly unsustainable because it was so out of place.

In this No-Mana environment, Ace was the only unique high-density aggregate of Mana, constantly having his Mana torn away by the environment. If Ace were to completely dissipate into this spatial world, this place might turn from a No-Mana World into a Micro-Mana World.

But that would be of no benefit to Ace. Out of necessity, Ace turned himself into a stream of dream information and surged into the dream of the witch named Zi.

The dark clouds and lightning in the sky poured down like stormy waves. The witch Zi’s body floated slowly, and the vast dark clouds that blotted out the sun, accompanied by lightning, surged into her body and vanished.

The sky turned clear for thousands of miles. Warm sunlight bathed Zi’s body, as if the dark clouds had never existed.

The red paint on Zi’s face had been washed away by the dark clouds and rainstorm, revealing her healthy, wheat-colored skin. She suddenly opened her eyes, seeming to recall something, her expression a mix of shock, joy, and disbelief.

A ringed six-pointed star pattern unknowingly emerged in her right eye, which then closed.

Ace, in the form of an information stream, used the contract connection to temporarily seal himself within the dreamscape of her right eye.

This was a helpless move. The environment in the entire space was too terrible; Mana was constantly draining and couldn’t be replenished. Ace had to use the contract relationship and Zi’s dream to create a small environment where he could reside.

As long as Ace didn’t come out, this small environment could ensure his remaining Mana wouldn’t drain any further.

Zi’s face was flushed. In her understanding, she had become the bedchamber of the Invisible King, a mobile dwelling. It was simply a tremendous honor!

It was just that the Invisible King was too powerful. Even a single word leaked out was enough to drive her crazy to the point of losing her reason.

“Is the gap in Life Level too great? Just ordinary words turn into a massive information stream that stuns giant beasts when it reaches their ears. What kind of space is this, and how low is the level of these existences?”

Ace, parasitical in Zi’s dream, muttered to himself.

Zi, whose eyes were originally clear, now had grayness surfacing in her eyes. Her right eye was closed because Ace had solidified her dream there. If the right eye opened, it would mean Ace had woken from the dream.

The young girl Zi walked somewhat staggeringly. The rainstorm had damaged her animal skin skirt and chest wrap, but she had no time to worry about that. She woke the tribe members with kicks and punches.

“The Invisible King protects us! The giant beasts are all unconscious. We must run quickly!”

Hearing the young girl Zi’s words, the tribe members scrambled up, ready to flee with Zi. At this moment, the boy Duan stopped them, speaking viciously:

“The giant beasts are unconscious. Why should we still run? We should take this opportunity to kill them.”

Zi, whose face was still flushed, widened her left eye while her right eye remained tightly closed. She whispered sternly:

“Flee with me immediately! Putting aside how we would kill the giant beasts without weapons, even if you kill these few, can you kill all the giant beasts outside the conservation area? If the giant beasts find out we hunted them, the Giant Beast Guard will come directly to wipe out all the tribes!”

Another older tribe member walked over, held Duan, and said calmly, “We cannot take the risk. Once the giant beasts are angered, what awaits us is a cruel massacre by herds of giant beasts! The last tribe that did this has completely disappeared from the grasslands.”

Finally, the resentful Duan turned back and spat, then fled with the crowd.

They didn’t return to their original settlement but stayed in a natural limestone cave. They simply laid down haystacks and extinguished the fire. Except for one tribe member keeping watch, everyone else who had been fleeing for a day fell into a deep sleep.

In the dream, Zi seemed to see a majestic, gigantic silhouette of light. Compared to the light silhouette, she was so tiny, like an ant to a human.

Merely approaching the light silhouette caused hallucinations to breed and made her dizzy.

Ace stared at the young girl Zi, who was truly as small as an ant, with a thoughtful look in his eyes. He realized Zi had reached some kind of limit, so he drove her out of the dream, murmuring:

“In the Mental Imagery Dream, is there such a huge chasm between my Life Level and the other party’s? It’s almost the difference between a Deity and a human. My actions in this space can actually trigger natural phenomena. If not for the restrictions of the No-Mana environment, this place would practically be my natural testing ground!”

Ace had already sensed it. The No-Mana environment didn’t mean strict planar rules; on the contrary, the rules here were very loose and had huge loopholes. In the Material Plane, Ace was just an ordinary Level 1 Life, only able to observe Level 1 Runes, which were traces and degradations of the Material Plane’s rules.

But in this space, Ace could almost pluck the strings of the planar rules and trigger natural anomalies. He was only restricted by the drain of Mana, unable to fully display his abilities.

It seemed that due to the massive gap in Life Level, the humans in this space could never listen to Ace’s information. Even a tiny bit of information, when reaching humans or giant beasts, would turn into a massive flood of data, crushing them with chaotic and disorderly knowledge.

However, Ace still found a suitable experimental subject: Blood Qi cultivation and Mental Power purification.

“My biggest problem currently is the inability to quickly digest the Mana obtained from meditation, and this is related to my somewhat mottled and chaotic Mental Power.”

Ace analyzed calmly. The time flow inside this No-Mana Space world was incredibly fast; it was an excellent time-saving testing ground. Ace prepared to try solving the two problems of Mana digestion and Mental Power mottling here.

Mana digestion was actually quickly converting the foreign Mana obtained from meditation into Mental Power. If this process could be accelerated, Ace could increase his Mental Power strength faster.

The mottling of Mental Power was also due to foreign Mana. The Dawn and Bright Moon Meditation Method fundamentally absorbed the Mana radiation of “celestial bodies.” This Mana radiation naturally carried certain imprints of the “celestial bodies.” Over time, his Mental Power gradually became mottled and had to be purified.

“Since it is a No-Mana World, it is unlikely to draw Mana from the external environment. Then I will try to create something from nothing—create Mana from within the human body!

“First, let them practice the improved version of the Blood Food Transport Method to generate Blood Qi. Rely on constant eating to nurture their own Blood Qi, and then find a method of metamorphosis to generate Mana from nothing!”

Ace chose humans instead of giant beasts because the structure of humans here was closer to his own. Ace inadvertently cast the die, casting a shadow over the future of the Giant Beast civilization.
