Chapter 327: The North

The Pocket World shook violently, seemingly unable to accept such betrayal yet helpless, only able to attempt to squeeze Ace out of the “Source.”

Ace’s true body stood firm within the “Source,” triggering the Divine Clone at the Divine Kingdom level to resonate. The Divine Clone, having transformed into a beam of light, drove the entire Divine Kingdom to plummet from the surface layer of the world into the inner layer.

Humans on the earth discovered in horror that the sky was falling!

Countless human heroic spirits seemed to be brandishing weapons, roaring and shouting, calling for a crusade against the “Source.”

Brilliant five-colored light shone brightly. A majestic figure seemed to stand tall, his ethereal voice transmitting into the ears of every human.

“I am the Supreme God Ai of the human race. The ‘Source’ is without virtue, expelling me as an Outer God. I shall plan for humanity! Replace the heart of the ‘Source’ with the heart of humanity, replace the destiny of the ‘Source’ with the destiny of humanity. Humanity will surely triumph over the ‘Source’!”

As his voice fell, the Human Divine Kingdom plummeted into the inner layer of the world. The humans on earth witnessed the scene of heaven and earth merging, yet they were unharmed.

The church of Supreme God Ai moved quickly, offering sacrifices to the Supreme God and publicly declaring humanity’s crusade against the “Source.”

The moment the Divine Kingdom arrived at the “Source,” due to the massive human sacrifice, it merged with the Human Tribal Qi’s foundation therein. With the help of Human Tribal Qi, the Divine Kingdom cut off nearly one-third of the “Source,” seizing a one-third share of the world.

The World Consciousness wailed in pain, seemingly unable to believe humanity’s betrayal. Without the Giant Beast Civilization, the World Consciousness had no other choice. A large amount of World Origin was consumed, and the entire world seemed to be splitting apart, exposing a large number of rules—the Level 2 Rune structures.

Ace looked coldly at the complex Rune structures, the cowlick on his head swaying as he recorded and analyzed with full concentration.

Various elements were in turmoil. The Rune structures of the six basic elements—Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Life, and Death—appeared successively. Ace maintained his wrestling state with the world, striving to observe the mysteries of the six basic elements and the reality of various derivative elements.

About forty years passed. The World Origin fell into a deep sleep due to excessive consumption. Before sleeping, it released more than half of its origin to form a Son of Destiny that Ace could not detect.

“The 3-Ring Spell Six-Element Cirle has been formed. With Life as the core, driving Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water creates the Creation Spell, capable of manufacturing various inanimate magic elemental substances. This is a good helper for alchemy.

“With Death as the core, driving Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water creates the Disjunction Spell. It has a certain probability of reducing inanimate objects not exceeding Level 2 to an elemental state, and causing certain elemental damage to living and dead things within the spell range.”

Boom!

Ace activated the Disjunction Spell in the Pocket World. It instantly split the continent in two, the middle turning into an elemental particle rift insurmountable for mortals. Most ordinary living creatures survived, only to be torn to shreds in the elemental particle storm later.

“As for the Son of Destiny, that’s excellent research material.”

Ace didn’t care. Instead of searching for some Son of Destiny, it was better to take the opportunity to increase the plunder of the World Origin share, deduce the Level 2 Runes he needed, and then use the World Origin to directly enhance his own strength!

As long as he was powerful, even a Son of Destiny would be nothing more than a dissection subject on his experiment table.

High Tower Territory, Top Floor.

“We still cant contacted Lord Ace.”

Betty said anxiously, the regular octahedron pendant on her chest swaying slightly.

“A decision must be made immediately! I will lead a team to improve the perception barrier. Excellency Ancestar will go to the south to stand guard and watch for movements of demons. Excellency Polina and Excellency Caruso are responsible for upgrading the Magic Ship and preparing to evacuate a batch of seeds. Excellency Ollie, Excellency Arno, and Excelency Daina are responsible for staying behind at the High Tower and activating the Wonder left by Lord Ace, the Marauder’s Map!”

Shining silver all over, sitting on a small and exquisite floating disk-shaped machine, Betty tossed her twin tails and spoke in a rapid tone.

The others expressed agreement. According to the laws set by Ace, the rotating chairperson had decision-making power during special periods.

They each took out a key fragment, put them together, and chanted a secret phrase. Instantly, light shone brightly, and a golden key appeared, displaying the color of Runes.

[Rune Key: A magic key composed entirely of Level 1 Rune sequences created by Ace. It is the key to open the secret door of the West Tower.]

Subsequently, Daina took the key and entered the Magic Castle West Tower. Under the guidance of the living activated life in the West Tower, she retrieved the Marauder’s Map left by Ace.

Looking at this familiar laboratory, Daina’s mood was very complicated. Thinking that Ace had lived here, uncontrollable longing rose in her heart.

In a trance, she seemed to see Ace’s figure pacing back and forth, Ace busy with experiments, observing various strange monsters. It was as if she had returned to that day in the Northern Frontier, walking with Ace on the streets and corners of the Northern March Fortress.

That day was cold, but her heart was warm.

“Teacher Ace, where exactly have you gone? I miss you very much.”

Daina put the Marauder’s Map into her Spatial Bag, speaking with somewhat blurry eyes.

..

The North, Punisher Headquarters.

Several Warlock Apprentices had already infiltrated the Punisher ranks, becoming part of them.

And today, the Warlock Apprentices observed unusual movements among the Punishers. Turin, a Warlock Apprentice appreciated by Karim, learned that the Punisher Organization was about to concentrate manpower for an expedition to strike at the blasphemers’ lair.

Advanced Warlock Apprentice Turin’s expression remained unchanged as he stood by the side of Great Hero Karim.

Turin and Karim came from the same branch family. After Turin claimed to have awakened as a God-favored, his family branch introduced him to work at the Punisher Headquarters.

Turin carefully improved his strength, using his bloodline to disguise his true situation very well. Even when he opened his Soul Sanctuary, others only thought he had achieved the status of Quasi-Hero.

This was darkness under the lamp. The high-level God-descendants would never have thought that their lower levels had already been quietly changed.

Turin did not attempt to betray the council. On the contrary, as an incompetent person who had suffered discrimination and humiliation for twenty years, Turin was extremely hostile towards the upper-class God-descendants in his heart. Especially seeing the terrors within the Punisher Organization only strengthened his conviction.

When Turin was most desperate, he met his senior, a girl who loved to laugh. She was just an ordinary Freeman, but she possessed extraordinary magic talent.

Turin followed her to learn magic and became a Warlock Apprentice, a God-favored on the surface.

However, such a kind girl who stood aloof from worldly strife was burned alive by the Punishers right in front of him just because she liked mathematics.

Her appearance before dying remained etched in Turin’s mind—the light in her eyes when she saw him, the panic, followed by her closing eyes and trembling eyelashes.

She was very kind and very brave. She didn’t expose his identity but was burned to death for researching mathematics.

Karim didn’t notice the thoughts of the young man beside him. Turin looked steady and reliable. Except for awakening too late, meaning his future achievements might stop at Hero level, Karim was very satisfied with everything else. He intended to cultivate Turin.
