Chapter 451: Outbreak

That night, phenomena of extremely strong mana accumulation appeared successively in Thoth City-State. Several advanced wizard apprentices broke through their limits. Without the aid of any rituals, they naturally achieved Level 1 Life and became Quasi-Official Wizards.

Bruce, Allen, and Eva gathered near the Magic Castle as usual. The chubby Bruce looked unusually excited and confident today. Allen stared at Bruce, realizing that his aura was vastly different.

“Bruce, could it be that you…?”

Bruce nodded reservedly: “I advanced to Level 1 and became a Quasi-Official Wizard!”

Eva couldn’t help covering her mouth and exclaiming loudly: “There were at least twelve or thirteen mana accumulation phenomena last night. I was still envying them; I didn’t expect a genius to be right beside me.”

Bruce touched his head somewhat embarrassedly: “Not really. I just read Lord Ace’s Magical Mechanics and suddenly felt enlightened, as if everything is different from now on.

“The foundation of our meditation method is the ‘Astral Beneficial State Hypothesis.’ In fact, all things can be celestial bodies, and all things can be in a beneficial state. The key lies in mechanics…”

While Allen and Eva were listening seriously, in a secluded villa by the Luminous Light River, the only Lich, Witte , was in meditation.

He was a pure skeleton frame wearing a black robe. A pale and beautiful female head was rotating around him. A small conch hung around his neck, seemingly calling his name faintly.

In his Soul Sanctuary, Witte had already beheld his True Spirit. His True Spirit stood there, with a Natal Star spell model hanging high above.

The meditation method he adopted was the standard Beneficial State Astral Hypothesis. The Natal Star he sought was also one compatible with himself. This Natal Star was inconspicuous and had never given birth to any Deity.

Many wizards connected with stars related to Deities to form their Natal Stars, but Witte felt that was inappropriate. He had no evidence, but as long as it was related to a Deity, he felt it was unsafe.

Cold mana flowed through his body, matching the nature of this Natal Star: cold and deathly. Witte was very smart; otherwise, he wouldn’t have become an advanced wizard apprentice so quickly. It was just that after helplessly transforming into a Lich, his advancement became too difficult.

Although he retained his Soul Sanctuary, his body was reduced to a skeleton frame, and his soul had disappeared, leaving only a wisp of Soul Fire burning. This situation severely damaged his potential and made it very difficult for him to perceive mana.

The turning point appeared with the proposal of the Phlogiston Theory. Regardless of whether the theory was correct, Witte reconstructed his Soul Fire based on the Phlogiston Theory and improved the meditation environment within his Soul Sanctuary, incorporating the Soul Fire into it.

This improvement greatly restored his meditation efficiency, allowing him to rapidly reach the peak state of an advanced wizard apprentice.

Witte had a strong talent for mathematics. Shortly after Ace released Calculus, he could use it proficiently. However, the more proficient he became, the more puzzled he was about the concept of infinitesimals.

“Now is not the time for doubts. I must reconstruct the Natal Star trajectory based on Magical Mechanics. This kind of unused Natal Star is actually better for me; I can draw more Beneficial State Mana!

“If one day I can get close to this star, it would be even better to draw its dispersed mana at close range.”

While thinking, Witte reconstructed the Natal Star trajectory according to the Three Laws of Motion and Universal Gravitation. Unknowingly, his mana, which had already reached the peak, broke through with a bang.

His spiritual power spread like mercury pouring onto the ground, naturally advancing to Level 1. Witte’s aura became increasingly cold. He connected with the aura of the reflection world, and death mana favored him.

He did not use a Natal Artifact. Seemingly because he was not a living creature, Witte could not maintain a Natal Artifact, but he didn’t mind.

“Anyway, I’m just a skeleton frame. Being able to continue existing is already a miracle; there is no need to ask for more.”

Witte whispered in an emotionless voice using a sound rune array. His spirit continued to sink into the Soul Sanctuary, turning to construct the Natal Star Meditation Spell Model using Level 1 runes.

The Natal Star was real, the universe was virtual. The trajectory gradually approached reality, and his mana increased step by step. The Lich Witte stood up slowly, stroking the pale female head with his skeletal fingers. Dark red runes flickered, constantly emerging on the head.

“Ms. Turtledobe, the path of magic has undergone earth-shaking changes. We have glimpsed the mysteries of motion, as if everything in the world is under the control of wizards. I am proud of this, and I rejoice that you guided me to become a wizard.”

The pale-skinned female head bobbed up and down, seeming to agree, or perhaps feeling gratified.

Top floor of the High Tower outside the city, Council Roundtable Meeting.

Ace scanned the sixteen newly promoted Quasi-Official Wizards, feeling emotional in his heart. With this, the entire High Tower had one Level 3 Wizard, three Level 2 Wizards, and twenty-three Level 1 Wizards, along with nearly a thousand advanced wizard apprentices.

As long as they passed the thirty-year armistice peacefully, the High Tower wizards would welcome a massive explosion in strength. Even now, the strength of the High Tower wizards was indisputably the first in the Salia region.

He opened his arms with a smile and said to everyone:

“Three things. First, welcome everyone to join the Magic Council Member Review Group. From today on, you are Members of Parliament of the Magic Council, enjoying all rights of members and fulfilling obligations.

“Second, with the improvement of the overall strength of the Magic Council, to ensure leadership and efficiency, wizards of Level 2 and above will become Commissioners of the Magic Council, forming the Commissioner Review Committee as the current highest power authority of the Magic Council.

“Third, although we took many precautions, the release of Magical Mechanics this time still resulted in the loss of twenty-one advanced wizard apprentices. I propose a moment of mourning for the fellow travelers who unfortunately sacrificed themselves on the path of magic.”

The wizards looked solemn and closed their eyes. The Lich Witte looked left and right, straightened his skeletal frame, and extinguished the two wisps of flickering Soul Fire in his eye sockets.

After a long time, Ace warmly invited everyone to sit down. While enjoying magical delicacies, they discussed their feelings about advancing to Level 1.

Ace held up a glass of blood-colored wine and said loudly, “After the welcome party, I will share the Level 1 runes and structures of various stars that I possess with everyone for free. I will leave a clone here. Anyone who wants to construct a Natal Star Meditation Method can come here to discuss.”

After speaking, Ace’s figure blurred. His True Spirit projected a shadow that fused with dream mana, and a clone with the strength of an Official Wizard walked out.

The wizards who had not yet constructed 2-Ring Meditation Spell Models put down their food and gathered around, asking for advice respectfully.

Witte’s Soul Fire was dull, seeming somewhat annoyed. He had already constructed his meditation method, but perhaps it would be better to go and ask for advice to perfect it.

Ace’s main body left quietly. The starry sky was brilliant. He was going to find that great existence from another world.
