Chapter 465: Treatment

Witte’s dry skull opened and closed, while the pale witch’s head rotated around him. “This seems interesting. If using magic as a metaphor, aren’t runes equivalent to the basic language constituting programs, and spell models are the different programs? If it’s really possible, perhaps automated, programmed combat can be realized in the future!”

The nearby wizards subconsciously moved away from this guy. A skeletal frame, gloomy all over, with a female head flying up and down—it looked a bit perverted.

Despite this, the computer was just a conceptual tool. Creating one was extremely difficult.

Ace did not point out the specific direction. In fact, in an era where electromagnetism had not yet been born, it was impossible for vacuum tubes like those in his past life to appear. The theoretical cornerstones had not even been established.

“Exert your intelligence and wisdom. What materials to adopt and what methods to use for construction are up to you to master. Every wizard interested in researching magic computers can take a scroll of this Computer Concepts.”

A plain wooden box appeared out of thin air, filled with magic scrolls. Wizards came up one after another to take the scrolls. No matter how many were taken, the scrolls in this wooden box never seemed to decrease.

When no one took any more scrolls, a burst of milky white light bloomed. When the light dissipated, everyone had returned to the starry hall of the magic castle.

Ace’s vast and boundless mental imagery world had deeply rooted itself in the hearts of the people. The wizards’ desire for power became even stronger. Many imagined in their hearts what it would be like if they possessed such a vast mental imagery world.

Bayen’s gaze was burning. He was walking almost the same path as Ace. The only difference was that Bayen incorporated runes of the prophecy series into his path. He firmly believed in Determinism and had published several program papers on the Astrological Prophecy School based on this.

Taking Determinism as his thinking guideline, supplemented by Magical Mechanics and Astrological Prophecy, Bayen developed an extremely powerful Golden Spell—”Minor Decision Prophecy.”

“My strongest spell has basically taken shape. I borrowed some simulation runes and supernatural languages, but the root of this spell lies not in fantasy but in reality. As long as I activate ‘Minor Decision Prophecy’ and set up prophecy rituals within the corresponding range, once completed, I will achieve super-long foresight and causal determination effects within that range.

“Although each decision can only have a slight impact, they accumulate and will eventually guide the result in the direction I desire.”

This spell is extremely ingenious. Bayern even has the illusion that he can reverse the fate of legendary heroes, as long as his computing power is sufficient.

“I’ll go discuss with Betty and the others first. They already have mature research results. As long as a Level 2 Auxiliary Brain is developed, my strength will undergo a qualitative transformation!”

On the other side, Warren was also discussing with Sulu.

“I think the idea proposed by Lord Ace is worth a try. This is a concept with theoretically no upper limit on calculation power,” Warren said to Sulu with excitement.

“But Warren, I think such research and development is too troublesome. Why don’t we wait for the results from both sides to come out? We can just buy whichever result is better, can’t we?”

Sulu actually had no interest in research at all. He cared more about how to earn magic stones and climb to a high position. If learning knowledge wasn’t mandatory for magic, he wouldn’t even want to study knowledge.

Warren shook his head and said seriously: “If none of us research it, where will the results come from?”

Sulu sighed: “Then you concentrate on research. If you lack anything, tell me, and I’ll handle the logistics for you.”

While the wizards were discussing enthusiastically, Ace and the Abyss Knight Arno walked into the sealing room.

Olli was sealed in an ice coffin, her expression slightly pained. The black liquid of the Star of Extreme Evil was scorching and eroding her; the situation had worsened slightly.

Arno was shrouded in dark red, looking somewhat worried: “Lord Ace, can Olli be saved now? Can you ensure success?”

Ace shook his head solemnly: “Arno, I cannot guarantee one hundred percent success yet. I can only tell you that there is a high probability that Olli will wake up. The problem now is that Olli can’t wait anymore. Her condition is slowly deteriorating; we cannot wait any longer.”

Arno’s expression dimmed. After taking several deep breaths, he used a pleading tone: “Lord Ace, please save Olli as much as possible.”

Ace nodded and gently pushed Arno: “You go out first. Absolute silence must be guaranteed. Guard the door and do not allow anyone to enter.”

Arno turned and left. The door of the sealing room closed slowly without a single sound.

Ace looked at Olli’s ice coffin. His eyes began to glow with white light as the Legendary Spell (5-Ring Spell) “Eye of True Knowledge” activated.

Olli’s situation was completely revealed before Ace’s eyes. Her bodily functions had greatly decayed, and her soul had also been eroded by a small part. The black liquid, like maggots attached to bone, was the biggest crisis.

“Can’t wait. Treatment must be performed. My Level 3 Glazed Heart Fire can definitely burn away the black liquid. The only difficulty is how to control it well and not burn Olli to ashes along with it. Her bodily functions are too fragile and might collapse halfway. This must also be considered. Also, Olli’s soul has some damage; I need to prepare some potions for assistance.”

Ace notified Logan to come here and instructed Arno to let Logan in upon seeing him.

About ten minutes later, Logan arrived panting. He stared at Olli’s condition and thought for a while: “Lord Ace, if you want to repair the soul, using my newly developed pure frost potion will work. This is a Level 2 Potion that enhances soul strength. It also has a very good effect on repairing the souls of Level 1 Lifeforms.”

Ace asked: “Has there been actual operation?”

Logan nodded: “Some time ago, several people competed in magic with the Lich Witte and had their souls injured by Witt’s curses. They have now recovered. I happen to carry this kind of potion with me—three bottles in total, all of excellent quality.”

Logan had prepared after receiving Ace’s message, carrying quite a few potions in his spatial pocket.

Ace looked at the potion in the glass bottle, pure as frost. The “Eye of True Knowledge” gazed into it, observing the pure soul matter and faint, tiny rune structures within. He nodded with satisfaction: “Go find Arno; let him give you however many magic stones it’s worth.”

Sending Logan away, Ace’s figure blurred. Two dream figures walked out of his body and solidified, transforming into two Dream Clones identical to him.

One clone had the Glazed Heart Fire atop its head, while the other clone held the three bottles of Pure Frost Potion and began to draw a magic circle.

Ace himself mobilized the Sea of Blood Energy in his mental imagery world, condensing Blood Energy Gems one by one. Then, he undid the seal on the ice coffin.

In an instant, the ice and snow melted. Substantial evil and gloom dispersed, and Olli’s expression became even more painful.
