Chapter 469: Entry

With the establishment of the four fundamental principles, the diffused dream mist began to act according to Ace’s will. In the entire Nightlight City and its suburban villages covered by “Fantasia,” any living creature that fell asleep would be pulled into the virtual world of “Fantasia”

At the same time, a large number of fantasy crystals also appeared. Other supernatural beings in the territory who did not have grimore could purchase fantasy crystals and enter “Fantasia” as Dreamwalkers!

When Ace stayed in the city-state, all creatures entering the dream would directly enter Ace’s mental imagery world, appearing on the dream Earth Center.

If Ace left the city-state, everyone would enter the Backup Dream Universe of the Noble Phantasm. The difference between the two was that Ace’s mental imagery world combined the 5-Ring Spell “Dimensional Grasp,” so the space near the Earth Center was real and true—a veritable Real Dream.

“Although ordinary animals, plants, and even mortals can enter the dream as a background wall to increase the foundation of my Dream Domain, the most important ones are still the supernatural beings. Provide each supernatural being with a Dream Space completely under their own control. They can continuously upgrade the level of their Dream Space according to my rules, and in this process, unknowingly condense the Heart of Dream and provide it to me.”

Ace’s eyes flickered with white light. His idea was actually to construct a large-scale virtual dream world. His own world would be the Prime Material Plane here, and the Dream Spaces of other supernatural beings would be the various planes, semi-planes, and spaces surrounding it.

Both sides would benefit mutually. Ace needed them to provide wisps of Heart of Dream to lay his Divine Foundation, while the gains they obtained in Ace’s Real Dream—whether it was mana, promotion insights, combat experience, or experimental data—could all be real.

Especially combat. They could die countless times here. Just by cutting off some renewable spiritual power to “Fantasia” they could obtain extremely strong combat experience, making it easier for them to survive in future actual combat.

And for wizards who wanted to do experiments, as long as it was within the scope of Magical Mechanics, all magic experiments here were consistent with reality. For low-level wizards, especially wizard apprentices, the experiments here were no different from the real world.

Conducting experiments in “Fantasia” did not require collecting or consuming real materials, which was a huge saving.

“The Deities of Kaya are certainly powerful, but they are unlikely to have the rich and colorful imagination of my past life. Even if I walk the Path of Domains, I cannot walk in the same form as them. Since the birth of mankind, games have been the favorite activity of humans. If I transform ‘Fantasia’ into a game, then monsters, mortals, and ordinary animals and plants are background NPCs. Supernatural beings possessing grimore or fantasy crystal, the so-called Dreamwalkers, are players!

“Just use the form of a Virtual Reality Game to help me condense the Divine Foundation of the Dream Domain and control the dream!”

Ace stopped thinking. He stood up, his clear voice echoing in the empty meditation room. Runes flickered, seeming to cheer for the future great God of Dreams, Games, and the Magic Network.

The wizards exploring Ace’s mental imagery world suddenly felt their vision go black. When they opened their eyes again, they found that they had returned to reality.

Bruce, who had just infiltrated a human kingdom in the dream Earth Center and was hoodwinking a beauty, suddenly woke up, his face full of annoyance: “Just a little bit more, just a little bit more. What happened?”

He subconsciously wanted to enter “Fantasia.” This magical fantasy land was simply incredible. The humans inside were actually as real as reality. Bruce tested in many ways and found that their reactions and thinking were no different from humans.

Except they couldn’t hear certain words. If he tried to tell them the truth about this dream world, it would turn into the ravings of a madman in their ears.

“It’s truly amazing. Lord Ace created a nearly real world in the dream. Those thirteen human kingdoms, with a population of nearly ten million, actually think realistically in illusion. Is this a dream or reality? For the humans in the dream world, it seems to be reality, but what they hear, see, and know are all controlled by the great Lord Ace.”

Bruce subconsciously shuddered. He looked up at the sky and suddenly felt cold all over.

That brilliant starry sky was unusually strange today. It seemed that the entire Kaya World was like a super-large glass ball, and a giant was stroking the glass ball, looking down at this world.

A chill rose from his tailbone straight to his forehead. Bruce subconsciously expelled this fantasy. When he looked at the sky again, everything was as brilliant as before.

“Even if our world is really created by someone else, in my eyes, it is real and true. Why think so much? Hurrying back to the ‘Fantasia’ dream world is the right principle.”

Bruce opened his grimore, only to find that the spiritual imprint page of the grimore had changed its appearance.

Dreamlike mist swirled here, and a small piece of fantasy crystal was sandwiched within it. As he opened the grimore, the crystal floated in mid-air. An ancient contract scroll and a small scale appeared simultaneously.

Bruce’s chubby face subconsciously grinned: “Contract?”

This scene happened in the eyes of countless High Tower wizards. The newly promoted advanced wizard apprentice Luther looked at the small scale and ancient scroll in front of him. Without hesitation, he pressed his bloody handprint and spiritual imprint. The scroll and scale slowly disappeared. Luther felt that he seemed to have some magical connection with the dream mist, but when he perceived it again, it disappeared.

He pressed his hand on the Spiritual Imprint Page with the dream mist. The world spun, and when he opened his eyes again, he was already in the void of a starry universe.

Luther stood in the void like this. To his surprise, he could actually breathe. In front of him was a magnificent huge sphere with bright white clouds, azure oceans, and dark gray continents. He looked around and found a hot sun on his left.

When Luther tried to fly towards the sun, he found that he couldn’t move. He looked down and saw that he was wearing a loose white robe and white shorts, and nothing else.

Just as Luther was in doubt, a distinctly emotionless synthesized voice appeared.

“Welcome to Fantasia, Dreamwalker. Identity verification passed. True Name: Luther. Advanced Wizard Apprentice. Professional direction locked: Wizard Profession.”

This string of emotionless synthesized sounds made Luther slightly uncomfortable. He coughed lightly: “May I ask what is going on? Why didn’t I descend directly to the Floating Island—City of True Knowledge?”

The emotionless synthesized voice sounded: “Respected Advanced Wizard Apprentice Mr. Luther, ‘Fantasia’ has undergone some adjustments after being promoted to a Noble Phantasm. Please note—

“First, all supernatural citizens of this city-state within the scope of the city-state are eligible to enter ‘Fantasia.’ Wizards and warlocks enter with grimore, while knights, warriors, and Thoth God-descendants enter with fantasy crystals.”
