Chapter 470: Template

Luther’s expression froze. “Fantasia” had always been exclusive to wizards. He hadn’t expected it to open up to all supernatural citizens within the city-state.

The emotionless synthesized voice continued:

“Second, all supernatural beings entering ‘Fantasia’ will obtain the title of Dreamwalker. Their professional path will be locked, and they must start from the beginning of their professional path.

“Third, every Dreamwalker will possess their own Attribute Panel. At the same time, according to the contract, information about the real world must not be leaked. The information you speak will turn into meaningless ravings, and you will be subject to the penalty of Forced Dream Death.

“Fourth, in the Fantasia world, you can do almost anything. You can explore, fight, experiment, and even live in the Dream Human Kingdoms. Dying here will result in the loss of a small amount of recoverable spiritual substance and the vast majority of your mental power, and you will be banned from logging into Fantasia for ten days.

“Fifth, the Fantasia world is a dream world. Spending ten days in this world is equivalent to one day in reality.”

Luther listened to this information. Just as he was comprehending it, his pupils shrank slightly: “Ten days in the dream, one day in the human world?”

The consciousness of countless wizards entering “Fantasia” heard this incredible sentence. Their eyes widened, or their pupils shrank, or they were so surprised they forgot to close their mouths.

“What is the principle behind this? Fantasia is Lord Ace’s Noble Phantasm. If he claims the time flow is accelerated, then it must be accelerated. But why?”

For a moment, Luther fell into doubt.

In reality, inside the West Tower, Olli found Ace again. Wearing a moon-white magic robe, her somewhat weak posture possessed a different kind of charm.

“Lord Ace, I have completely disintegrated all the spell models in my Soul Sanctuary.”

Ace nodded. He glanced at Arno beside her and tossed a fantasy crystal to him: “This is the key to entering the Fantasia virtual world. There is also a fantasy crystal on the Spiritual Imprint Page of Olli’s grimoire. Sign the contract according to the prompts, and your consciousness will enter Fantasia. Start from scratch, and you will understand everything about the magic innovation.”

After speaking, Ace drove the two somewhat bewildered people out of the West Tower.

Olli and Arno looked at each other. She said gently: “Brother Arno, then I’ll trouble you to accompany me to ‘Fantasia’.”

Inside the West Tower, Ace was in the meditation room, gently connecting with the diffuse dream mist. A fantasy crystal ball slowly emerged.

Ace tightly gripped a Golden Spell Model. There seemed to be the ticking sound of a clock, and also the sound of fine sand falling in an hourglass. It was the Golden Spell “Time Stasis.”

“To nurture a 4-Ring Time Spell into a 5-Ring Spell, I still need to use the power of the dream to turn the fake into the real. The thinking speed of a human in a pure spirit body state is faster than in a physical state. The most critical thing is that there is no need to rely on nerves to transmit information. A pure spirit body can transmit information at high speed in the dream world. This situation results in the time flow of ‘Fantasia’ being far faster than reality!”

Ace slowly stuffed the Golden Spell “Time Stasis” into the fantasy crystal ball. That spell model transformed into a huge clock, hiding in the deep layers of the Dream Virtual World.

“This flow rate can be accelerated by at least thirty times. By setting it to ten times the speed, I have largely restricted the flow rate. However, this Dream Virtual World is perfectly capable of conducting various forms of time flow experiments, collecting the Power of Domain, and allowing me to possess a 5-Ring Time Spell as soon as possible!”

Ace’s eyes flickered with breathtaking white light. He wasn’t in a hurry to study the Astral Travel Knowledge just to accumulate more sufficient power. Having as much power as possible by his side would ensure the safety of future travel.

Luther had already clearly understood the changes in “Fantasia.” They would enter a virtual world where the time flow was ten times that of the real world as Dreamwalkers. Everyone could only start from the beginning of their supernatural profession, re-walking the supernatural path as if in the real world.

Here, Dreamwalkers could die infinitely. Although there was a long penalty each time, Luther knew very well what this meant.

“Just this point alone is enough for me to enter this virtual world! Although it is virtual, a world built based on Lord Ace’s Magical Mechanics—how much difference is there from the real world for my level? In the real world, I need to cherish my life, but in this world, I don’t need to. My actual combat ability will definitely be greatly improved. In the future, I will definitely be able to provide help in finding Mom, Dad, and my sister!”

He chose to agree on the light screen without hesitation. A burst of milky white light covered the surrounding environment. When he opened his eyes, Luther found himself appearing in the Fountain Plaza of the Floating Island—City of True Knowledge, wearing only a loose white robe.

In front of him was a light screen displaying his basic information.

“Name: Luther. Dream Profession: Junior Apprentice (Advanced Apprentice). Mental Strength: 1 Unit (2 on the scale). Physical Strength: 0.9 Unit (1.5 on the scale).”

After this attribute column, there were also Rune Column, Spell Column, Knowledge Column, etc., all of which were currently blank. There was also a Dream Space column showing “insufficient conditions.” Apart from that, the Task Bar was flashing constantly, seemingly reminding Luther.

Luther studied it for a while and figured out the general mechanism of the panel. He felt very novel: “This thing is very convenient. Using a popular term recently, it’s called ‘Quantification’ or ‘Digitization.’ It uses a simple panel to display a person’s entire situation clearly.”

Following the instructions on the panel, he hid the panel. If needed, he just had to silently recite “Panel” in his heart to call it out. After trying a few times, he began to carefully read the tasks in the Task Bar.

“World Familiarization Task, Profession Task, Sudden Task, and Main Task. This classification is interesting.”

After reading, Luther understood the differences between them. As the name suggested, “World Familiarization Task” was to let him familiarize himself with the basic mechanism and general situation of this Dream Virtual World by following the task. If he didn’t want to do it, he could cancel it. If he did it, he would be given certain dream rewards.

“Profession Task” was a series of professional goals. He was currently a Junior Wizard Apprentice. The tasks were very simple ones like “Perceive Mana, Learn Minimalist Meditation, Learn a Spell,” and so on.

“Sudden Task” and “Main Task” both displayed “Unknown, please explore on your own.”

Luther did not hesitate. According to the task requirements, he ran all over the City of True Knowledge and completed a series of Profession Tasks and Sudden Tasks along the way.

“It’s clearly a Dream Virtual World, yet the people are even shrewder than in reality. I was almost cheated. I don’t know what method Lord Ace used, but here I must go through the process of learning a certain rune or spell model in the dream world; otherwise, I simply cannot construct it successfully.

“It feels like being reincarnated into this world with memories. This magical island is really too fun!”
