Chapter 485: Deep Meaning

Ace watched everything happening through the mirror surface. Bruce had already used combustion magic to burn down the entire mansion where Elena was located. The captured bats had also turned back into Elena’s pale body, devoid of breath.

“Let’s go. The enemy has been purged.”

Bruce said somewhat desolately. For some reason, he didn’t feel the thrill of revenge, but rather a sense of loneliness.

The fire burned fiercely, and sounds of firefighting and crying appeared one after another. Ace stepped into the mirror surface and entered the room surrounded by flames.

“You possess some intelligence, but if I hadn’t come today, you probably really would have been buried in the sea of fire.”

Ace reached into the pool of blood in the room and actually grabbed a Blood Crow that was fluttering ceaselessly. The crow’s eyes revealed a very human-like fear.

A smooth mirror surface appeared quietly. Ace held the Blood Crow firmly and walked into the mirror, causing a ripple on the surface.

On the Magic Lake Planet, Ace threw the fluttering Blood Crow onto the ground, where it turned into a motionless dark red heart.

Ace activated the “Eye of True Knowledge.” Pure white light bloomed, and in Ace’s eyes, the heart turned into a mass of blood, seeming to tremble slightly.

“Lost too much blood?”

Ace condensed a drop of blood energy and let it drip onto the heart. In an instant, the blood spread and gradually condensed into a human shape. A few minutes later, the incredibly pale and exquisitely figured Elena stood up.

Elena looked at Ace—the black magic robe, the tall magic top hat, and the 5-Ring Gold Badge. Her pupils shrank slightly.

She immediately knelt on both knees and shouted loudly in a prostrate posture: “Blood Kin Elena pays respects to the Great Legendary Wizard. Your wisdom is eternal.”

Ace smiled slightly and said kindly: “You are somewhat clever.”

A wave of mana brushed past, and Elena stood up involuntarily. The white light in Ace’s eyes made her tremble, her brain instantly stopping all thought.

Ace stared at Elena, who had fallen into a state of shock. Under the white light, her soul was completely revealed.

“Huh?”

With a snap of his fingers, ice spread upwards from Elena’s bare feet, quickly freezing and sealing her. Ace paced back and forth, looking troubled.

“It turns out not to be a substituted consciousness, but a False Soul derived from the dream. It has memories, consciousness, and personality, but no True Spirit. This is indeed a bit difficult to handle.”

It turned out Ace had taken a liking to Elena’s methods in the Delat Kingdom. The situation in the entire Delat Kingdom was almost developed by Elena alone. Even that Count only had talent in bloodline; in terms of methods and scheming, he was far inferior.

If Elena hadn’t been abandoned by Caroso, and if Bruce hadn’t obtained intelligence on Elena through the Bloodline Wizard channels—planning against the unsuspecting—the outcome might have been uncertain.

“Although I can briefly manifest dream life, I cannot maintain it for long. If I really want dream life to walk into reality, I’m afraid it requires a Demigod or even a True God.

“In that case, leaving her here isn’t appropriate either. Since that’s the case, I can try another experiment.”

Ace’s hand gently stroked the ice. The ice sculpture Elena had turned into shattered instantly, vanishing completely, leaving only a pale red ball of light floating.

Ace held the pale red ball of light, and a smooth, pure mirror surface appeared in front of him. He waved his hand gently, and the scenes in the mirror changed constantly. After about five or six minutes, Ace found a poor family with a pregnant woman about to give birth.

His eyes narrowed slightly, white light flickering: “No, this child has good magic talent.”

With a wave of his slender hand, the image dispersed. He changed it several times. Ace looked closely, white light scanning, and shook his head each time.

Finally, in a wealthy merchant’s home, Ace found a pregnant woman awaiting delivery. The fetus in her womb was very suitable.

“No divine blood, no magic talent, no knight talent, not even warrior talent. Simply too suitable!”

Ace threw the ball of light into the mirror, splashing ripples. It traveled through layers of space and submerged into the pregnant woman’s belly.

Elena felt a burst of coldness. Her thinking seemed to be completely frozen. Gradually, she stopped thinking about even this, falling into dead silence.

Unknown how much time passed, she felt as if she had turned into a ball of light, hazy and obscure. Suddenly, there was a pushing force from behind. The world spun, and she crashed into somewhere.

So warm. There seemed to be a pushing force behind her, making her push forward hard. When she finally came out, she inhaled a breath of cold air and cried out loudly.

The mirror surface in front of Ace gradually dissipated. He grabbed a magic net thread and plucked it gently, seemingly thinking about something.

“I need some people—no, it should be a large group of people—to go to the shelter and develop that desolate world.”

His fingers tapped the magic net thread unconsciously, causing mana fluctuations in the entire area.

“The ‘Fantasia’ dream world has ready-made manpower. Whether it is Dreamwalkers who possess supernatural power in reality, mortals substituted in, or pure dream lives like Elena, they can all be briefly manifested.”

Ace’s eyes shone. He snapped his fingers gently, and a phantom of the Shelter Alien Dimension appeared. He stared at the Dream Mist Crystal Wall within the phantom with burning eyes.

“As long as the Dream Mist Crystal Wall communicates with Fantasia, the manifestation effect can be achieved. Let the Dreamwalkers of the entire Fantasia become the driving force for the construction of the shelter.”

A few minutes later, Bruce and the other three, who were celebrating in the largest tavern in the City of True Knowledge, suddenly changed their expressions. A light screen forcibly popped up in front of their eyes.

It was wood-colored, with a short sentence.

“Main Task Open. Current Task: Pioneering the Desolate Planet.”

The four of them clicked it subconsciously. A desolate planet appeared in front of them, and Ace’s voice rang in their ears:

“Dreamwalkers, we have discovered a brand-new space, a new planet. This planet is named Syracur. It also has a sun star and a moon star, only smaller.

“Every Dreamwalker can recruit manpower on their own and go to Syracur to build a new world. We will build cities in the wilderness; we will build a brand-new magic civilization in Syracur.”

The content was very brief, and the news was not very shocking. This was the first feeling of the group.

They exchanged glances. Bruce said: “Go to my Dream Space. This place is not suitable for detailed discussion.”

The other three nodded. They drank the remaining beer in one gulp. Bruce left a bag of silver coins, and the four left the tavern and arrived at Bruce’s Dream Space.

“What does everyone think of this Main Task? Why do I feel it lacks appeal!” Bruce said first.

Allen frowned and thought seriously: “We shouldn’t just look at it simply. This is the Noble Phantasm ‘Fantasia’. Lord Ace is the true leader here, the Creator God!

“There must be some deep meaning.”

Luther nodded in agreement: “This is the first Main Task of ‘Fantasia.’ It inevitably has its deep meaning. Perhaps it is Lord Ace’s test.”
