Chapter 504: The Giant Spear

He had not been idle during these three months. Using that magical spindle to weave threads, he manipulated real people to complete scene after scene of bizarre plots.

He also left many bizarre legends in Nightlight City, such as the “Midnight Howl,” the “Non-existent Mansion,” the “Forgotten Carnival,” and so on.

Ace was very careful. The scale was small, and the plots were simple, but there was one point: they were often bizarre or had huge plot twists.

Because he discovered that the more it was like this, the more feedback he received. When the threads woven by the spindle were retrieved, two different types of threads appeared.

One type was silver-white threads, bearing a faint aura of fate; the other type was colorless and transparent threads, bearing a faint aura of the Great Source.

Undoubtedly, every time a drama ended successfully, he could harvest feedback from fate and the Great Source. Although very weak, it was real and tangible.

“Maybe I should plan a massive ‘drama.’ perhaps I can harvest a large amount of fate and Great Source feedback. The Great Source feedback can directly improve my strength, while the fate feedback will consolidate my own Status, increasing my foundation.

“Perhaps the gods possess similar abilities, which is why they manipulate the iteration of civilizations time and time again.”

Ace slowly planned the script, preparing to weave a drama of fate. He intended to use his speech at the Magic Castle as the first act when suddenly, the heavens spun and the earth moved.

His plan was interrupted just as it started. Is it an earthquake? Ace thought subconsciously.

The entire Nightlight City was constructed as a single unit. Although it wasn’t a single unit at the beginning of construction, it was a magical society after all. Through the wizards’ magic, the foundation of Nightlight City was extremely deep, and the connections were also very tight.

Except for a few houses collapsing, there didn’t seem to be a major problem.

But not long after, Ace felt the vibration of the Great Source, along with a faint irritability and anger coming from nowhere. That vibration became more and more violent.

Even though Nightlight City had a high level of earthquake resistance, under this Great Source vibration and the shaking of the earth and mountains, houses began to collapse one after another. Large fissures even appeared on the ground, and whole blocks of land caved in.

That power was probably unmatched even by Legendary Magic.

Because the Magic Castle was engraved with a large number of runes, it managed to stand tall. Ace quickly ordered the Supreme Council of the Magic Council to organize rescue efforts, while he opened the “Eye of True Knowledge” and looked around.

This feeling made Ace very uneasy. He Flashed to the starry sky and looked down to observe.

Ace manifested a high-precision Magic Telescope. As far as his eyes could see, he discovered that the surface of the earth was covered in black fog and dark red mottling everywhere.

Just looking at it, one could feel the thick evil, as tangible as substance, making one’s heart palpitate and flesh jump.

“So many Abyss Projections and Hell Projections rioting at the same time—what exactly are they trying to do? Aren’t demons and devils sworn enemies? They actually united. Although I don’t know the reason, maybe, it can only be driven by interests.”

Just as Ace was observing, a sudden change occurred.

That black and red smoke entwined and condensed, actually transforming instantly into a gigantic spear of red and black. Carrying terrifying power, it flew towards the sky.

Strangely enough, in just an instant, this giant spear disappeared. Then came a muffled sound that resonated through the entire Prime Material Plane.

There seemed to be shrill howls of pain, and sounds of anger. A huge hole actually appeared in the sky of the Prime Material Plane; the crystal wall of the Inner World had been shattered, leaving a gaping hole.

This was incredible. The Inner World, which is the Prime Material Plane, has infinitely vast internal space. It is almost a starry universe centered on the earth core. The boundaries here are expanding every moment. Unless one performs a spatial warp, one cannot leave the Inner World.

But even leaving the Inner World shouldn’t result in this situation. There was only one possibility: that black and red giant spear shattered the crystal wall of the Inner World’s Prime Material Plane in an instant, and it was destruction on a super-large scale.

If it were ordinary destruction, even a strike from a True God or a Main God wouldn’t cause this. The crystal wall of the Prime Material Plane would heal rapidly. But now, not only did a large hole appear, but it also couldn’t heal.

Black and red flames burned around the hole, extremely terrifying and dangerous.

Ace’s figure flashed and disappeared. He performed an ultra-long-distance spatial warp, appearing instantly in the outer world, the Sea of Reality and Illusion.

Observing from the Sea of Reality and Illusion, a giant hole had been broken open in the Prime Material Plane. The position of the Kaya Divine Mountain had also moved, shifting to above the hole.

Ace felt a terror that penetrated his soul. It seemed that at the peak of the Divine Mountain, a hazy figure, carrying a terrifying aura capable of destroying everything, was forcefully gripping a giant spear.

His figure was not large; compared to the giant spear, it was like an ant against a fountain pen. Yet, He steadily held the tip of the giant spear in His hand, blocking its unstoppable momentum.

Ace merely glanced at Him and felt a stinging pain in his eyes. He actually went blind instantly and turned pale with shock. Blood energy poured into his eyes, slowly restoring his vision.

There seemed to be scolding voices, enchanting voices, and exclamations of ancient existences ringing in his ears, making Ace both curious and anxious. His location was not far from the shelter; it was a remote place.

His vague perception ability only allowed him to sense the situation nearby; he could not effectively perceive that distant hole.

After waiting for about ten minutes, Ace finally opened his eyes.

The scene before him astonished him. That hazy figure had disappeared. More than a dozen blood-red figures appeared behind the giant spear, actually pushing the giant spear forward.

There seemed to be a roar of anger resonating through the Sea of Reality and Illusion.

“Nadaya, Lamor, as dignified Titan Main Gods, how dare you betray the world!”

This voice was both shocked and angry, seemingly in disbelief, yet also exceptionally disappointed.

Ace seemed to hear an ancient murmur again. That voice was faint but firm. From the Underworld that firmly locked Hell and the Abyss, an extremely ancient living being walked out.

His murmur seemed to be communicating with the world, or perhaps pouring out His heart.

“I am the First Son. My actions are not for selfishness, but for the public good of the world. Great Source, please judge clearly!”

Boom!

The Great Source boiled like a tide, almost becoming substantial, seemingly questioning this first Titan Main God.

“The Other World has collapsed and died. The Outer Gods of that side are willing to merge with Our world. This fusion shall be the Kaya World devouring the Other World. The Other World will extend vines to lock the two worlds together. We shall become one, swallowing the essence of the Other World to elevate Our world!”

The boiling of the Great Source became more violent, seemingly hesitating, seemingly craving, and also seemingly fearing.

For a moment, Ace felt that the World Will was like a naughty child. Then, the hazy figure surrounded by the aura of destruction reappeared, seemingly communicating and arguing endlessly with the World Great Source. Amidst the dispute, the giant spear suddenly disappeared without a trace.

When it appeared again, the giant spear was at the edge of the World Crystal Wall and exploded directly. The Princes of the Abyss and Hell behind it were also severely injured and retreated back to the Abyss and Hell.
