Chapter 516: Fierce Tiger

Inside the pitch-black alley, several screams rang out. Ace’s sword was already out of its sheath. The cold blade edge slashed across, and the screams gradually weakened.

He unhurriedly took out a clean white handkerchief, wiped the blade gently, put the handkerchief away naturally, inserted the sword into the sheath hanging at his waist, took out the cat face mask from the bundle on his back and put it on, and shook the cloak gently to drape it over his shoulders.

From the several corpses lying in the pool of blood, wisps of Power of Fate were absorbed by the vertical eye on Ace’s forehead. Those Threads of Fate also returned to Ace’s vertical eye. He walked out of the darkness, just in time to see the wretched noble youth leaving triumphantly with the newly bought noble young lady slave in his arms.

“Before the main play, a few episodic plays are needed for a warm-up. You are the first one.”

The Threads of Fate had unknowingly entangled Ace and the noble youth, but the noble youth was still completely unaware.

As a noble, he naturally wouldn’t come to such a dangerous place alone. A carriage and four mounted swordsmen escorted him. The sobbing and exclamations of the noble young lady could be faintly heard.

Ace entangled the Threads of Fate around the group. The vertical eye between his eyebrows opened, whispering softly.

“Announcing: The stage is set, the actors take the stage, and the story is about to begin.”

Faint music seemed to sound. The noble youth playing with the beauty in the carriage couldn’t help saying: “What sound is that?”

The mounted swordsmen outside also heard it. They looked around and answered: “Young Master Bakar, it seems someone is playing music? i can’t figure out what instrument it is.”

Bakar said to the swordsmen dissatisfiedly: “Go and see who is playing. Not playing something cheerful is too disappointing.”

Hearing the master’s words, the swordsmen dared not neglect. Exchanging glances, one swordsman rode his horse slowly forward. The sound of music grew louder, but upon arriving at the place, he found no one.

Just then, the music suddenly became passionate. The swordsman felt a wind behind his back. Just as he was about to check, he suddenly felt a stinging pain behind his neck. A sharp hard object pierced his neck.

Ace retracted the sword without sheathing it. Lightly stepping on the back of the stabbed swordsman, accompanied by the horse’s neighing, he arrived at the top of the carriage as fast as lightning.

He circulated the power of Heart Fire to the tip of the sword. Blue starlight rose in the dark night, drawing a gorgeous spark that spread.

A swordsman shouted “damn it!” Unable to dodge in time, his body was split in two, and he couldn’t survive.

The other two swordsmen suffered the same fate. Ace’s actions were too swift; every move was a killing move. This spark, similar to sword energy and carrying scorching heat, directly penetrated their armor, cutting them in two.

Young Master Bakar was angrily poking his head out when he suddenly saw a smiling white cat mask. Scared, he was about to retreat when he suddenly felt severe pain in his back.

The noble girl sold as a slave had pulled out her hairpin and stabbed it into his back near the chest.

Biting her lip, the scantily clad girl had specks of blood beneath her. Her expression was extremely aggrieved and painful. Breathing hard, her eyes listless, her hands trembled slightly.

Ace tore down the curtain on the carriage, draped it over the girl, held her in his arms, and said gently: “The nightmare is over. Fate has sounded the curtain call for the drama.”

The girl leaned against Ace’s chest, looking at his mask and asking softly: “My name is Lisa Mellon. Who are you?”

Ace pondered for a moment, then leaped up with the girl. Stepping on the roof tiles like a light wind, his cloak fluttered loudly.

“Call me Mr. Cat. I am just a Restorer of Fate, guiding a little bit of fate to the direction it should go.”

Lisa leaned a bit closer to Ace’s chest and said with a trembling voice: “Where are we going?”

Ace’s cheap white cat mask reflected the moonlight, still smiling amiably: “To restore fate. Seeing injustice on the road, someone will step on it.”

After speaking, his jumping speed increased a bit. He had long memorized those targets involved in human trafficking. Ace’s goal was not pure justice; in fact, he was managing his image of justice.

Because he discovered that this image could greatly stir the Threads of Fate. His own Power of Fate became thicker and thicker, and the associated and entangled Threads of Fate also increased.

Through the spindle phantom, he obtained feedback from the Power of Fate, and his strength increased rapidly.

Ace put Lisa aside. They had arrived at a roadside lawn where a group of trafficked children were being driven like sheep.

Ace was as fast as lightning, like a bolt of darkest thunder, arriving beside the group of people in an instant. Without any words, his long sword stabbed out like a snake.

Passionate music sounded accordingly. Several people couldn’t dodge in time and were killed by Ace on the spot. The others picked up weapons to fight Ace. Ace didn’t hold back. He condensed Heart Fire at the tip of the sword, a blue light flashing.

With a swift slash, the blue light turned into a spark thread, expanding rapidly. Swish!

Everyone found a blood-red thread appearing on their chests, then their bodies slowly separated. One person grabbed Ace’s trouser leg and asked: “Which faction are you from? Why kill us?”

The music gradually faded. The smiling white cat mask looked at the person grabbing his trouser leg and kicked him away gently.

The Power of Fate had returned to the center of Ace’s eyebrows along with the threads. Feeling the recovery and rapid growth of power, Ace said loudly:

“My name is Mr. Cat. I am the Restorer of Fate. Your fate has ended.”

After speaking, Ace waved his sword like snowflakes, cutting all the ropes on the children. The children were not pleasantly surprised but shivered while looking at Ace, whose sword was still stained with blood.

If these children were released like this, they might be trafficked again or reduced to beggars in a few days.

Ace beckoned to Lisa. After Lisa ran over, he said: “I have a friend who lives not far away. You go with these children to stay with him temporarily.”

The person Ace mentioned was an eccentric he met while eliminating evil and distributing wealth in the Old Street during this period. As the White Cat, Ace had been eliminating pests in the Old Street for several months. Once he saved this eccentric. According to Ace’s observation, this person should be trustworthy.

In the darkness, Ace led Lisa and the children left and right, arriving at a somewhat dilapidated garbage dump, and saw an extremely tattered and huge tent.

Thunderous snoring sounded from inside. With his long sword sheathed, Ace tapped the ground gently with the scabbard. Heart Fire oscillated, and strange ripples and music sounded.

Threads of Fate extended from the vertical eye between Ace’s eyebrows, quietly connecting Ace, Lisa, the group of children, and the owner of the snoring.

“Claire Latin, Claire Latin, get up quickly…”

Ace’s voice wasn’t loud, but with the ripples, it clearly entered the ears of the snoring owner. He woke up groggily, walked out of the tent, and rubbed his eyes.

Under the moonlight, Lisa saw this person clearly. His figure was extremely burly; even “burly” was insufficient to describe it. He was at least four meters tall. Lisa covered her mouth and whispered: “Half-Giant?”

The children also looked fearful; some were even whispering about how terrible giants were.

With his sword hanging at his waist, Ace extended his fist. The Half-Giant Claire Latin also extended his fist to bump Ace’s fist, laughing loudly: “So it’s Mr. Cat, hahaha. I wondered who it was. Who are these little ones?”

Claire Latin’s voice boomed like thunder. Everyone present except Ace felt somewhat dizzy. Ace said gently: “These are some pitiful people I saved. I want to settle them here with you temporarily and look after them separately after the matter is over.”

Claire Latin readily agreed and asked: “What matter?”

Ace had already turned and leaped up, his figure shrinking rapidly, leaving only his voice behind: “The order of the Old Street needs Fate Restoration.”

Everyone was puzzled. The children and Lisa looked at Claire Latin with some fear, shivering.

Claire Latin touched his head, squatted down, and said: “Stay here with peace of mind. I will protect you well. Don’t be afraid of me; I really am a good person. Even Mr. Cat said I am a good person.”

…

Ace was still moving rapidly. Only a small part of the newly harvested Power of Fate was consumed, quickly restoring his blood energy and Heart Fire. He stored most of it in the vertical eye, seeming to be brewing something.

He took off his mask, covered the vertical eye between his eyebrows with his right hand, and pulled forcefully, actually pulling out an ancient scroll from it.

Putting on the mask, he unfolded the scroll. Densely packed character names flickered. Sentences and paragraphs of text seemed to be revealing something.

Following his own marks, Ace tracked the wealthy merchant who bought Yamila. putting the scroll into his bosom, he was as agile and elegant as a cat under the moonlight.

The wealthy merchant was named Walton Neil, a famous rich merchant in the southern region. His business spanned both black and white markets. His own strength was not bad, and he used money to rope in a group of extraordinary people who believed in Nature Spirits.

They booked an inn. Walton’s subordinates faithfully guarded every corner of the inn, while he himself took the powerless Yamila to the best room.

Walton held a whip high, a wicked and wretched smile on his lips, and whipped Yamila fiercely. The snow-white wedding dress was instantly stained with fresh blood, looking dark red and coquettish.

“Hehehe, I’ve played with many women, and even more pure and fierce women like you. It’s just that I’ve never played with a Knight of the Holy Light. Today, let me first…”

Filthy language spewed out. The whip cracked. Yamila’s body was already blood red. She gritted her teeth, her face unnaturally flushed.

She wanted to move but couldn’t. If not for her power seed being locked, Yamila would definitely fight this guy desperately. Trying her best to control the bad feeling, she gasped and said: “I am a Radiant Knight. If St. Ivan Cathedral knows, they won’t let you off.”

Hearing this, Walton sneered twice:

“Of course I’m afraid of St. Ivan Cathedral, but will they know? As long as I wait for the city gates to open tomorrow and leave Bernada, no one will be able to find you again.

“My holy Radiant Female Knight, accept this fate destined to be defiled. You will be my exclusive toy for life, hahaha…”

More violent whipping attacked. The redness on Yamila’s beautiful face became increasingly abnormal. Her body arched like a prawn. Her bound hands and feet had already been worn with strangle marks.

Her whole body gradually turned red, seemingly in extreme pain, and her panting gradually became somewhat charming.

Walton became more excited, filthy language unceasing.

At the same time, Ace also arrived at the inn. He scanned the heavily guarded inn, the vertical eye between his eyebrows widening, observing the strength of these people.

“Need to solve the one-eyed woman at the back door of the inn first, then the man holding a big hammer in the stable. This way I can reach the top floor room with the strongest Power of Fate.

“Cannot get entangled in between; must fight quickly and decide quickly!”

Thinking this, Ace took out the scroll from his bosom and wrote something with a quill pen. Lines of Threads of Fate turned into silver ink, becoming the script of fate.

In less than a minute, Ace had finished writing the text. He stuffed it into his bosom, tidied his cloak, pressed his right hand on the hilt of his sword, and whispered: “Act One, start.”

Bang!

The extremely rapid leap attracted the attention of the one-eyed woman behind. Holding a long sword, she signaled the other guards with her eyes. Just then, Ace had already rushed close.

A sword thrust towards her neck. The woman hurriedly raised her long sword to parry Ace’s thrust. The others wanted to get close to help, but in the flash of lightning, their necks were slashed by Ace, clearly dead.

Seeing this, the one-eyed woman was greatly shocked. Her arm was somewhat numb, feeling that she was not Ace’s match. She hurriedly fled towards the stable, intending to join forces with the strong man in the stable.

Ace smiled slightly, suddenly jumped into the sky, raised the sword in his hand slowly high. Blue light danced at the tip of the sword, turning into an azure blue semi-circle arc.

Ace waved forcefully. The arc instantly enlarged and sped away, actually cutting both the one-eyed woman and the strong man.

The guards of the inn had been alerted. They raised long bows and short crossbows one after another, shooting at Ace. Ace’s white cat mask shone, whispering: “Since I am the protagonist of the stage, naturally I must shine brightly!”

Swish swish swish!

The long sword stabbed out dozens of times instantly, each time flashing with blue light. The guards below suffered heavy casualties instantly. Ace circulated Heart Fire to his toes in the air, blue ripples appearing under his feet.

Stepping lightly, he flew up another section, avoiding all arrows, and landed on the top floor of the inn. Boom!

The ceiling collapsed in response. Ace appeared in a room—white cat smiling face, black cloak, fitting tight suit, calfskin boots, sword hanging at his waist, looking extremely heroic.

“Ah!”

A man holding a quilt screamed miserably. Ace looked; this person was not the tall, fat, and strong wealthy merchant. This man had a glamorous appearance and a somewhat enchanting figure, making Ace associate him with a certain same-sex relationship. He stepped forward in a stride, knocked this glamorous man unconscious, then concentrated on sensing—it turned out to be next door.

Boom!

The wall collapsed in response. Ace made a shocking entrance once again.

The tall, fat, and strong wretched man; the bound girl in a white gauze dress. The bright red blood soaked the white dress, actually strangely beautiful and moving.

Ace was unaware. In his eyes, there was only the scene presented by the vertical eye between his eyebrows. That dense Power of Fate, the large amount of Threads of Fate, almost declared that the girl in the white dress before him was absolutely extraordinary.

Drawing his sword, azure blue fire light rippled across the entire blade. As soon as Ace attacked, it was a killing move—merciless, as swift as a crashing thunder.

Although Walton was greatly shocked, he did not panic. He slapped his chest fiercely. A ball of orange-yellow light actually shrouded him. A fierce tiger form faintly appeared behind him. Instead of retreating, he advanced, actually grabbing Ace’s sword blade with one hand and striking with the other like a fierce tiger pouncing on an enemy.
