Chapter 542: Wizard World

Ace’s figure suddenly shrank by nearly a hundred times, strolling in the newly born solar system. He carved within it for a long time, and finally looked at this stellar system as if looking at a piece of art. He placed his Lake of Magic at the position of the Earth, making the Earth look dazzlingly brilliant.

He didn’t create fake dream lives within it because the nostalgia in his heart always made him feel that dream lives couldn’t fill the void inside.

“Moreover, this nebula universe is embedded in the Dream Realm. In essence, it is still my weapon. If summoned and manifested for battle, it will inevitably cause the dream lives surviving in it to disappear like bubbles. It’s better to keep the dream lives in ‘Fantasia.’ The nebula Noble Phantasm here is a pure weapon of slaughter.”

His figure gradually returned to its original state. The isolation seal of the Dream Realm closed, and information from the outside world surged in like a tide.

Ace quietly digested the changes of these few years and praised: “I didn’t expect that in just a few years, ten Legends have already been born. It really is changing with each passing day. Bayen and the others also did a good job, picking up a lot of resources for the world, further accelerating this process.”

Ace’s gaze had already passed through the Dream Realm and saw the numerous “bubbles” inside the world, especially the Totem Continent bubble, which had already been mostly transformed. If it weren’t for the totem “gods” within it struggling to hold on, the transformation speed would probably have been even faster.

“No need to rush it. These ‘gods’ are the best whetstones for the new generation of wizards. I won’t go resolve them.”

He took a step out and appeared on the top floor of the High Tower in the Academic City of the Celestial Realm. The six Legendary Wizards who were discussing matters saw Ace suddenly flash inside and hurriedly stood up.

Bayen took the lead, bowed slightly and respectfully, and said: “You are the Ruler of Dreams, the Creator of the Magic Net, the Guide of Wizards, the Patron of Mages. We respectfully welcome your return, Great Lord Firelinker.”

The other Legendary Wizards followed Bayen, respectfully greeting Ace. Daina’s eyes flickered with a faint light, seemingly with tears rolling. After advancing to Legend, her skin was like creamy jade, her whole person unreasonably beautiful. Wearing a lady’s dress, she looked just like a princess stepping out of a painting.

Even Ace was startled when he saw Daina. He didn’t expect that advancing to Legend also had the effect of perfecting appearance and figure.

He strode up to the main seat. Bayen respectfully stepped down and sat on the secondary seat.

“During the time I was refining the Noble Phantasm, you all did very well, worthy of being the guides of a world. The development of a world shouldn’t be involuted like the Kaya World, but should be like us, constantly adding new resources to the world.

“If it weren’t for the invasion of the Giant Tree World, the Kaya World would still be stuck in the endless cycle of civilization birth, development, peak, and destruction.

“And this is the so-called involution. All power is consumed in internal slaughter, simply unworthy of the world’s favor to the gods of Kaya.”

Everyone listened to Ace speak with serious expressions. In fact, they had deep feelings for the Bernard World Cluster. This world was almost tailor-made for wizards. Here, wizards were the supreme rulers, and they could do everything according to their own will.

There was no oppression from gods here. Wizards only needed to be vigorous and upward, working hard to develop the world.

Betty couldn’t help saying: “Lord Ace, actually, I’m saying what if… what if we simply abandon the Kaya World, all descend to this world with our true bodies, and operate this world cluster attentively? The future will be just as promising.”

Betty didn’t fear war, but the strength of the gods of the Kaya World and the gods of the Giant Tree World was too strong. Even if Ace went back now, he might not necessarily be able to deal with just the God of Sleep and the Three Sons of Dream.

Quite a few wizards had the same thought as Betty, only they didn’t dare to speak it out, while Betty said it directly.

Ace listened to Betty smilingly, looked around, and said: “Betty’s idea is very interesting. What does everyone think we should do? Speak your minds.”

The Lich Witte said without hesitation: “I oppose abandoning the Kaya World. Although the Kaya World has entered an extremely dangerous situation, it also has huge opportunities. If we abandon it, it will be very difficult for us to achieve major development. If we just rely on scavenging in the lower layer of the Astral Plane to get by, Lord Ace wanting to advance to a Level 5 True God, and us wanting to advance to Level 4 Mythical, will basically be very, very difficult.”

Witte still had some words unsaid. The reason he wanted to stay in the Kaya World was that he longed to resurrect Misha and Mr. Turtledove, longing to recover everything.

If not in the Kaya World, then it would be meaningless.

The other wizards also successively expressed their viewpoints. Roughly, they all felt the Kaya World was somewhat dangerous, but totally abandoning it was also too reluctant.

Ace said seriously—

“We completely control the Bernard World and have reshaped it into the Bernard World Cluster, making this our solid base and retreat. But this retreat is not secure.

“If we abandon the Kaya World, we will lose the possibility of rapid development. This is one.

“Two, whether it’s astral scavenging or ‘other worlds’ we might encounter in the future, there is huge uncertainty.

“Even if the megastructure project Eye of the World is completely finished—using the diameter of the Bernard World as one astral distance unit, capable of omnidirectional scanning of everything within a radius of three thousand units—we might still gain nothing for a considerable time.

“Three, don’t forget the Holy Light. We didn’t defeat Him. He still holds the coordinates of the Bernard World Cluster in His hands. Even if our movement shifted the coordinates, the world represented by the Holy Light might still come looking for us.

“These three aspects determine that we cannot abandon the Kaya World. The two worlds are in fact mutual retreats, and there is no need to abandon either.”

Betty said with a shameful face: “My Lord, I considered it too simply, only caring about the current sense of security.”

Ace smiled and said: “No need to apologize. We wizards can speak freely. Without full discussion, how can we try our best to choose the right path and eliminate doubts? In fact, for quite a long time—that is, one or two years in the Kaya World, which is four to eight hundred years in this world—our focus will be here.”

He looked around, and the phantom of a nebula star suddenly appeared behind him. The purple radiance of that nebula was unrestrained, mixed with yellow radiance. Thirteen stars were bright, beautiful, and intoxicating.

Ace said loudly:

“I have achieved a Seventh Ring Mythical Wizard. In the Dream Realm, I embedded a nebula celestial system constructed based on magical mechanics. This is my Path of Wizards, and also a Path of Magic that everyone can imitate and draw lessons from. The Firelinker’s original intention remains!

“I hope that in the hundreds of years in this world, more Mythical Wizards can step out from here. We can have a group of wizards matching Demigods. This is the hope for our rise in the era of great contention in the Kaya World.

“I will study how to share the Astral Projection Secret Art with everyone, letting you also go pioneer, conquer a brand new world, and bring all the resources and coordinates there back here.

“I propose changing the names of the Bernard World and the Bernard World Cluster to the Wizard World and the Wizard World Cluster. This is our new homeland!”

The group of Legendary Wizards all looked somewhat excited. They agreed with Ace’s proposal without hesitation. From now on, this place was the Wizard World.

And the Astral Projection Secret Art Ace mentioned made them even more fascinated. Since Ace could discover this world with a Legendary body, conquer this world, and achieve Demigod, it was entirely possible for them too.

Even if they couldn’t conquer it alone, they could contribute the coordinates and gather everyone’s power to conquer the new world. If they could really continuously pour the Source Power of other worlds into the Wizard World, perhaps the world could really ascend to a higher layer of the Astral Plane like the Giant Tree World.

This was also Ace’s expectation for the Wizard World. This was a complete great world that he personally recreated a second time, and through the Magic Net, it was transformed into a unique world cluster. In the future, it could also further evolve into a more complex world system.

Currently, the Wizard World was relatively weak even among Level 2 Worlds, only able to accommodate the existence of one Demigod. The mutation after the death of the former Creator God, and the bone-sucking and marrow-extracting harvesting by the Holy Light and angels, made the Great Source of this world very scarce. And the total amount of the Great Source determined the top status of a world.

Ace left the Celestial Realm, looking at the ruins of that shattered world, his eyes flickering with white light.

“No mistake, this kind of reaction…”

His eyes shot out rays of light, piercing straight through a seemingly ordinary shattered island. His figure flashed and disappeared, appearing beside that island. Starlight shone behind him, and a colorful shining nebula appeared.

That nebula crashed straight into the shattered island, instantly grading the island into fine dust, revealing a figure.

About a hundred meters long, a human body without a head, seemingly with gloomy qi. A creepy feeling of evil suddenly erupted. That headless body suddenly stood up. The skin all over its body suddenly became full of folds, actually growing human heads one by one.

Those human heads had various shapes, their expressions all painful. Hundreds of pairs of eyes stared at Ace, making one’s scalp tingle.

Ace didn’t hesitate. The nebula opened immediately, enveloping nearly a hundred ka entirely. Countless fragments were reduced to the most basic dust on the spot, while supernatural energy was extracted and flowed into the Lake of Magic.

That giant with hundreds and thousands of human heads on its body suddenly roared, turning into a ten-thousand-meter giant. Throwing punches that disturbed the starry river, it rushed rapidly towards Ace.

Ace’s figure flashed and disappeared. In this nebula, Ace was the sole Creator. He unhesitatingly used the Seventh Ring Mythical Spell “Time Manipulation” to instantly control the giant.

The thirteen stars flickered. Ace held the Gravitational Torsion Balance high and shouted loudly: “Stellar Gravity Well, Hyper-Limit Segmentation!”

Those thirteen stars rapidly approached the giant. The mass of the stars themselves was incredibly large, distorting space, instantly segmenting the giant into hundreds of pieces. The scorching solar First Flame was also burning, quickly turning the giant’s corpse into ashes.

Ace snapped his fingers. The Glazed Heart Fire merged into the solar First Flame, accelerating the refinement.

“A zombified Demigod, this should be the biggest harvest. As for the other few, they either had their energy drained dry and died completely, or successfully zombified an unknown amount of time ago and their whereabouts are unknown.”

A total of seven high-energy corpses were found, all of which were once immortal Level 4 existences. However, now they had all turned into corpses. One was refined by him, two broke through the dust seal and their whereabouts were unknown, and the remaining four were already indistinguishable from dust, turning into dust with a light bump.

A world that could gestate the existence of seven Demi-gods was considered a powerful world even at this layer of the Astral Plane. Unexpectedly, it still perished. In this boundless Astral Void, who knows how many disasters lurk.

“I don’t have the energy to investigate this. Perhaps I can let other wizards properly investigate everything that once happened here.”

With a thought from Ace, a limited-time Main Task appeared on the panels of all wizards of the Third Ring and above.

[Limited-Time Main Task: Why exactly did a world that once created at least seven Demigod existences perish? Please find clues within ten years. Note: Multiplayer task, final rewards distributed according to clues. An extremely massive amount of Fate Points and Source Points await you]

Warren and his disciple Thales had just manipulated the flying machine to crash-land onto the dark red planet. Before they even came out, they were already surrounded tightly by people. These people had pale faces, bat wings growing on their backs, and most of them had handsome looks.

Warren was just about to negotiate when he suddenly saw the popped-up limited-time Main Task. After a slight thought, he chose to accept. He thought the massive amount of “bubbles” entering the world not long ago was the end, didn’t expect it was just the beginning.

He was still very interested in the ruins of a brand new shattered world.

Thales didn’t know this. He looked at these people somewhat nervously and took out his spellbook. He had just advanced to a Senior Mage Apprentice not long ago. Warren also upgraded his spellbook for free, recording several practical spell models. At this moment, he was eager to try.

Warren pressed down the eager Thales, slowly opened the glass cover. Just as he was about to speak, the leader surrounding them said in a piercing voice: “I don’t care who you are. This is my territory. Even if you are wizards, you have to pay money first here, otherwise we’ll turn you all into Blood Thralls.”

Warren frowned slightly. He rarely saw such foolish people. Slightly sensing them, they were just some Vampire commoners without titles. He immediately let go of the hand pressing Thales and said: “Their mouths are a bit twitchy. Go teach them a lesson, but don’t take their lives.”

Thales jumped down from the flying machine excitedly, cast a Hovering Spell and a Bouncing Spell on himself, and landed lightly.

Without talking to the few people, he activated the excellent melee core spells modified by Warren, “Empowered Lightning Animation” and “Magic Crystal Gauntlet Enhancement Spell,” and rushed over like a whirlwind. Warren unhurriedly put away the flying machine, sealing it in a spatial scroll.

In the blink of an eye, Thales had already ended the battle. The Vampires were swaying and falling all over the place.

Just as those few Vampires were about to say harsh words, hearty laughter and the sound of flying piercing the air suddenly came from afar.

A familiar voice reached Warren’s ears: “I was just telling them you were about to arrive. Didn’t expect you had already arrived. Long time no see, Warren.”

Warren focused his eyes. A few people had already arrived in front of him, and the leader was none other than Sulu.

He bumped fists with Sulu somewhat excitedly and asked in a low voice: “Why are you here?”

Sulu smiled and said loudly: “Isn’t it because my good brother His Excellency Warren advanced to a Legendary Wizard, and you delayed going to the Celestial Realm? The Supreme Council asked me to invite you.”

At this time, the few people behind Sulu also saluted Warren. A gorgeous Vampire woman leaning on a fat wizard said in a pleasant voice: “I am Grand Duke Elena of the Blood Origin Planet. I’m very sorry that these guys offended you. I will give them the punishment they deserve.”
