Chapter 570: Stepping onto the Kaya Divine Mountain

In the Ocean of Rules of Ace’s mental imagery world, the laws of dreams and manifestation were firmly rooted in the Ocean of Rules, becoming the solid foundation of the Tower of Rules. The Ninth Ring foundational spells stood tall upon it, like a dazzling miniature galaxy.

“My path is now clear. The laws of dreams are the foundation, and the Ninth Ring spell ‘Galaxy Descent’ is the nesting structure. A Ninth Ring Wizard, equivalent to a True God, can be called an Immortal, but I prefer the term Immortal Legend!”

Hovering above his own sub-plane, Ace sensed the faint dissatisfaction of the Great Source.

He had advanced to a True God, but the Great Source had not given him world anomalies to welcome him. Ace knew the reason. He had not handed over his Fruit of History—or rather, the Fruit of Immortality—to the Great Source to form a brand. This meant he wasn’t “buying shares,” so the Kaya Great Source was naturally dissatisfied.

Ace felt it was fortunate that the Great Source was slumbering; otherwise, under these circumstances, it was entirely possible for anomalies to descend from the sky to punish him.

“Anyway, my luck isn’t bad. Fortunately, the Great Source is slumbering. Otherwise, if it forcefully coerced me to hand over the Fruit of Immortality, would I hand it over or not?

“The path of wizards is different from that of deities. During the growth process of a wizard, they rely to a much greater extent on their cognitive understanding of the world. The Ninth Ring spells are different from the laws copied from the four-dimensional Secret Realm; they are an understanding of underlying patterns, a sublimation of cognition.

“For a mortal to rely on their cognition of the world to stumble along and eventually ascend to immortality—this is an inconceivable miracle. This makes one a living legend, and one can call oneself a Legendary Immortal Wizard!”

Taking steady steps one by one, Ace spoke in a calm voice. Amidst the plane clusters as resplendent as a galaxy, one plane suddenly flickered like starlight, then rapidly approached like a meteor, plunging into Ace’s Dream Realm with a loud boom.

A strong resonance. It was the clone left behind long ago: the Wizard Subconscious Sea!

The will of all wizards, the original contract, all returned to their places at this moment. Ace seemed to have an epiphany. He sent a call down through the Astral Plane to the Wizard World Cluster in the lower layer, summoning all wizards to return.

In the Wizard World Cluster, Betty, the Rotating Celestial, had been on duty for nearly ten years and was just about to hand over her scepter to the newly appointed rotating official, the Lich Witte. Her father, the Lord of Misfortune Leon, had also just advanced to a Legendary Wizard and had the honor of attending the ceremony.

Leon was able to advance to Legend thanks to the invasion and fragmentation of the World of Qi, which birthed a massive amount of misfortune. Relying on devouring this misfortune, he successfully advanced to Legend. As a wizard, Leon wasn’t actually very good at magic; the path he took was closer to a domain.

The Lich Witte stretched his skeletal maw into a wide grin and accepted the scepter. During Betty’s ten-plus years on duty, she had made significant breakthroughs. People were all rumor-mongering that she would become the next Mythical Wizard after Bayen.

Just at this moment, the Dream Great Source suddenly emitted a signal. All the wizards of the Celestial Realm heard Ace’s call, summoning them to return to the Kaya World.

As for the reason for the call, Ace had also stated it clearly. He had already advanced to Level 5 and achieved immortality, simultaneously becoming the God of the Dream Domain and a Legendary Immortal Wizard possessing the Ninth Ring spell “Galaxy Descent.” Now he needed the help of all wizards to create a Level 5 Wondrous Item belonging to the wizards.

Everyone responded to the call one after another. After leaving behind their clones, the Mythical Wizard Bayen, a group of Legendary Wizards, and hundreds upon thousands of Third Ring Wizards and Golden Wizards all departed.

Thales and Blania were ascending to the Upper Realm for the first time. After a brief period of adaptation in the City-State of Thoth, they followed Ace’s call to prepare the ritual, linking spiritually with Ace to communicate with the Wizard Subconscious Sea together.

Ace’s consciousness had already entered the Subconscious Sea. Just in case, His true body also returned to within His own sub-plane.

The Kaya deities, who were waiting for Ace to come to the Kaya Divine Mountain for an audience with the Main Gods, saw this and began to discuss animatedly.

“That one who just appeared, why did He feel so strange?”

“He submerged into His demiplane; it felt as if He was blessed with some kind of fate.”

“I reckon it’s some kind of hidden move, something akin to the Fishmen’s Sea of Fate. Didn’t He create the supernatural profession of ‘Wizard’? Perhaps it’s related to this.”

“He wants to become the God of a supernatural profession? Feels a bit redundant.”

“He has already become the incarnation of the Dream Domain, which is indeed very formidable. But creating a supernatural profession God is meaningless; this path is a dead end.”

None of the gods thought highly of it. Ace didn’t know any of this, and in fact, he didn’t care about it either.

His mind and consciousness had already appeared within the Wizard Subconscious Sea. A tall sculpture holding a torch suddenly came alive; it was Ace Himself. He was too tall, almost touching the sky and standing on the ground.

He had to sit down to barely have some clearance and not feel so oppressed.

The consciousnesses of the other wizards returned to their places one after another, and sculptures came alive one by one. Besides Ace, the largest sculpture was Bayen. He was already a demigod, only one size smaller than Ace.

As a Legendary Immortal Wizard, Ace perceived the characteristics of the Subconscious Sea. It was actually a consciousness aggregate; the consciousnesses of both living and dead wizards converged here.

The difference was that living wizards had complete consciousnesses, while dead wizards only had residual traces. Their true spirits had already followed the River Styx back to the Underworld, enduring eternal roasting and burning on the Wall of Sighs.

Ace felt a momentary dip in his mood. In this ocean of consciousness networks formed by the subconscious, almost all cognitions were interconnected. The Lich Witte immediately understood all of this. He trembled all over, softly murmuring his lover’s name.

“I think, one day, we need to take a trip to the Underworld to liberate the true spirits of wizards bound to the Wall of Sighs. The true spirits of wizards belong to the wizards.”

Ace’s voice echoed throughout the Subconscious Sea, resonating with all the wizards. But they also understood that this was not something that could be achieved overnight. If they wanted to retrieve the true spirits of departed wizards from the Wall of Sighs, either the King of the Underworld would give them face, or they would have to beat the King of the Underworld until he gave them face. Currently, they could do neither.

“This is a long-term goal. For right now, I want to borrow everyone’s power to elevate the Wizard Subconscious Sea, briefly sublimating it to the inconceivable Secret Realm that only deities can reach, and create a Wondrous Item that will have endless benefits for us wizards.”

Ace’s voice was earnest and natural. The wizards expressed their support through the network one after another.

Under Ace’s command, they transformed into individual nodes, converging level by level, ultimately gathering the authority and power of the entire Subconscious Sea into Ace’s hands. Ace manifested the Ocean of Rules of his mental imagery world and linked it with them.

Boom!

As if splitting the primordial chaos, in an experience difficult to describe with words, Ace led the entire Wizard Subconscious Sea and the wizard consciousnesses of every node together to reach the inconceivable Secret Realm only deities could reach—a higher-dimensional world: the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm.

If one were to force a description, it was like a two-dimensional lifeform suddenly jumping out of a book, stumbling in a three-dimensional world, briefly possessing a three-dimensional form. But no matter how powerful a two-dimensional existence is, in three dimensions, it is hardly much stronger than a single particle.

In the higher four-dimensional space, even acquiring a single particle is extremely difficult, because a single four-dimensional particle unfolding in three dimensions is an entire universe.

Of course, universes have different energy levels. The energy limit of a three-dimensional universe unfolded from a single particle is one four-dimensional particle. If multiple four-dimensional particles unfold, the energy limit is multiple four-dimensional particles.

Actually, entering the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm also presented aspects difficult for Ace to comprehend. He had obtained the qualification and ability to enter, akin to obtaining a brick and knowing how to use it to smash things, but he was still far from mastering the ninety-nine other uses of a brick, and even further from manufacturing one.

Dragging the entire Wizard Subconscious Sea into the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm folded it into a minimal microparticle, but this was only an informational state. More importantly, this informational state had to be overlaid onto a real four-dimensional particle to grant the Wizard Subconscious Sea infinite possibilities.

“I want to make a door, a door that can enter and exit four-dimensional space with minimal energy consumption. This is the key to my entering the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm more conveniently in the future, and also a convenient channel for all wizards to briefly enter the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm.”

While thinking, Ace observed the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm. This was a miraculous world where various particles were constantly surging, but most particles had owners and brands.

Using an analogy for three-dimensional space, the four-dimensional particle Ace captured and the entire galaxy universe it unfolded into were equivalent to a “quark” in the four-dimensional world, the lowest level of microparticle.

This was also the maximum unit a Level 5 Lifeform could capture. As for four-dimensional “protons and neutrons” above four-dimensional “quarks,” those were not units Ace could capture; they were too massive.

Ace could observe that the Kaya World at a four-dimensional height was a four-dimensional “atom,” with an atomic nucleus composed of four-dimensional “protons” and “neutrons.” And Ace, an existence merely equivalent to a quark, was an even more insignificant, free-floating part of it.

This atom was currently colliding with another atom. A war that would be epic in the three-dimensional world was merely two small particles colliding in the four-dimensional picture.

Furthermore, even a Legendary Immortal Wizard, a three-dimensional Immortal Level 5 existence, could not exist long-term in four-dimensional space.

Because at a four-dimensional height, they only existed as informational states, at most collapsing into an extremely small microparticle.

If they maintained the collapsed state, it was naturally fine. But if they wanted their informational state to diffuse like this, the moment their energy ran out, they would either be lucky enough to down-dimension into the world inside a nearby particle—or simply return to their original world—or, if unlucky, thoroughly turn into nothingness.

At this point, the remaining Fruit of History would be the final means of resurrection.

“But in fact, the Fruit of History is just a brand in the fourth dimension, or rather a folded segment of three-dimensional time. It can also be obliterated on the four-dimensional level. It’s just a question of how to enter the interior of this great ‘atom’ and find that brand.”

Ace thought while his actions never ceased. Energy was being consumed every moment. Especially this time, the energy was exceptionally insufficient. But Ace dared not wait. By the time He accumulated full energy, He might find it difficult to open the door to the fourth dimension and enter the Four-Dimensional Secret Realm again.

He had to fix this ability to enter and exit the fourth dimension while He was still in this optimal state.

Ace set his sights on a four-dimensional “particle” orbiting outside the edge of the four-dimensional “atom.” That particle was extremely familiar to Ace. Although He couldn’t quite put it into words, Ace could be certain that particle was precisely the Wizard World Cluster.

In other words, that four-dimensional particle was the main body of the Wizard World Cluster on the four-dimensional level. Its rank was about the same as the main body particle of Ace’s sub-plane; it was just that Ace’s particle was a component of the macro-particle Kaya, while the Wizard World Cluster’s particle was an independent entity.

That marvelous connection of the Astral Plane actually became faintly visible at this moment. He unfolded his informational state, overlaying the information of the entire Wizard Subconscious Sea and his own Ocean of Rules onto a part of it.

The above description is just a metaphor for convenience of understanding. What exactly four-dimensional space is like is difficult to express clearly in a few words; everyone just has to rely on their imagination.

Ace engraved the informational state of the entire Wizard Subconscious Sea bit by bit onto the Wizard World “particle,” which was situated relatively far from the Kaya four-dimensional “particle.” Comparing their volumes, the Kaya World should be composed of tens of thousands of particles like Ace’s; the two could not be mentioned in the same breath.

On this four-dimensional level, the astral divisions observed in the three-dimensional world were no longer visible. This was too vast, and Ace couldn’t fully comprehend it either.

Even covering it with all his might, he only covered a portion. Fortunately, Ace had chosen the higher-dimensional manifestation of the Wizard World; otherwise, without cooperation, it probably would have been very difficult to complete.

“From a four-dimensional perspective, the Wizard World is clearly not a single microparticle, but the convergence of two microparticles. Is this the reason for devouring the World of Qi? From a higher-dimensional perspective, as long as the Wizard World attracts more ‘microparticles’—that is, worlds—it will sooner or later achieve advancement.

“It could even advance to a degree approaching the Kaya particle; everything is possible.”

Ace memorized and marked the four-dimensional “microparticles” near the Wizard World that were of a similar volume. These were future targets for conquest.

It takes many words to describe, but in reality, it passed very quickly. For the other wizards, they barely felt anything. In just a split second, they seemed to have understood something, yet seemed to have gained nothing. Their consciousnesses were thus thrown out by the Wizard Subconscious Sea, returning to themselves.

Ace’s consciousness also down-dimensioned back to his sub-plane and returned to his body. He opened his eyes abruptly, looked at the wondrous point of light at the center of the brilliant galaxy, and nodded in satisfaction.

“This is the ‘Door’ of Dimensional Ascension. But this name isn’t very suitable; it lacks magical grandeur. For many three-dimensional creatures, the fourth dimension is untouchable, the true domain of gods, an illusory reality. I might as well call it the Door to the Void.”

Ace seemed to have a kind of “words follow the law” ability here. This point of light actually gradually transformed into a door of uncertain reality. Faint magic script also appeared. That was the magical language with mysterious power created by Ace, synthesizing various supernatural languages, known by wizards as Ace-speak.

After sorting everything out, Ace stepped out of the sub-plane again, walking step by step to the edge of the Kaya Divine Mountain. He intersected the sub-plane with the Divine Mountain. The Divine Mountain seemed to be controlled by some great existence and permitted Ace’s actions.

His figure gradually appeared within the Divine Mountain. In a desolate land, it gradually transformed into a floating city, bearing a somewhat dream-like color.

“This is the Floating Magic City, the City of Dreams, My residence on the Kaya Divine Mountain.”

The God of Arithmetic, Thoth, laughed heartily and appeared here. Dressed in a white robe, he boldly left his chest open, revealing his well-built physique, like Michelangelo’s statue of David.

“Congratulations, Ace. Come with me for an audience with the proxy of Kaya, the Lady of the Night, Her Holiness the Bright Moon Goddess Artemis. But before that, you have to release the Three Sons of Dream.”
