Chapter 571: Divine Attendant

Ace laughed heartily, “I forgot. I will release the Three Sons of Dream right now.”

With a wave of his hand, a halo appeared. The Three Sons of Dream—Alsodin, Alsos, and Alsop—walked out from it. The three brothers were still a bit dizzy. Alsodin looked at Ace with a complex expression, while the other two glared at Him angrily.

Seeing the God of Arithmetic, Thoth, the three brothers knew they wouldn’t die this time. But observing the relationship between Ace and Thoth, they also realized they had to swallow their grievances; seeking revenge was out of the question.

In truth, losing a battle over one’s Path usually meant utter despair. They managed to keep their lives and their realms solely because they belonged to the same faction.

Alsop’s lips moved, wanting to say something, but he ultimately held his tongue. As a Legendary Hero, he had no right to speak up. Defeated in a battle of Paths due to inferior strength, he didn’t know where to begin, even if his heart was filled with indignation.

After witnessing Ace’s true dreamscape and watching Him penetrate the dream domain in a single day—achieving incomprehensible feats from the inconceivable Divine Secret Realm to become the incarnation of dreams and a true Rule God—the three brothers had already lost all hope.

I never even noticed such an opponent until He appeared. Only when He reached the limit of a demigod and stood right in front of me did I finally wake up from the delusion.

Alsop thought to himself, swallowing bitterly, and kept his mouth shut tight. If he wanted to become a demigod, he might even have to beg Ace.

This guy is too insidious. He actually disguised himself as a Star God. I even hosted Him and told Him how to become a demigod. Thinking back, He was probably mocking my ignorance the whole time.

His progress is too fast. From Legend to True God in less than ten years! And to become the incarnation of a domain by entering the Divine Secret Realm just once in His True God state… an existence like that probably never even considered us as opponents.

Alsodin felt somewhat disheartened. Having survived, he had lost the motivation to move forward. With an incarnation of dreams standing at the end of his Path, anyone would feel despair.

He could only comfort himself like this: it wasn’t that he was incompetent, but the opponent was simply too powerful. A miraculous existence unseen in a hundred thousand years, reaching the end of a Path of Law in less than a century of life—there was no comparison.

Alsodin felt he had lived his tens of thousands of years in vain. Perhaps he was worse off than a dog; at least a dog could be happy.

At this moment, the God of Sleep, Byrne, appeared. The Lady of the Night, Artemis, had lifted His confinement, and He had rushed here immediately.

The God of Arithmetic, Thoth, was slightly nervous, worried that his older brother would be too impulsive and clash with Ace again.

The God of Sleep, Byrne, looked calm. He seemed to have snapped out of his furious state and told Thoth, “Don’t worry, I am calm now.”

He then turned to Ace and said:

“You are very formidable. To become a domain incarnation in a single day and walk straight to the end of the law of dreams… Even I am inferior to you, let alone my three disappointing sons.

“The Mother Goddess made the right choice. Perhaps you are better suited for the law of dreams.

“However, I need a promise from you. As the incarnation of dreams and a kindred god belonging to the same faction under the great Lady of the Night, I hope that, for the sake of the Mother Goddess, you will allow my youngest son, Alsop, to become a demigod.”

Ace’s expression remained natural. He stared at the God of Sleep, Byrne, glanced at the Three Sons of Dream, and replied:

“I am the incarnation of dreams; I am the dream itself. Alsop may continue on the Path of Dream, but he must submit to my command and forge a sacred contract of laws with me. Lord Byrn, I can promise here and now—if the day comes when I can fully decipher dreams, become the Sovereign of Dreams, and sublimate the law of dreams, I will grant a divine seat to my subordinates.”

Byrne automatically ignored Ace’s mention of becoming the Sovereign of Dreams. Although Ace had reached the peak of a True God and become a domain incarnation, sublimating a law was far too difficult.

The difficulty lay precisely in what Ace called “sublimating the law.”

Otherwise, why would there be only thirteen Titan Main Gods among the Kaya deities?

The so-called Titans were the apex of the world. In this world, only Level 6 existences could be called the world’s apex.

As for the other ordinary Main Gods, they were not Level 6. Although called Main Gods, they had merely become the domain itself. They were the domain, thus serving as Domain Sovereigns, but taking things a step further was incredibly difficult.

For example, the mother of the Goddess of Elegance, the Goddess of Beauty and Desire, was a Domain Sovereign. Yet, Her laws had failed to sublimate. If She could sublimate Her laws, She would be the fourteenth Titan Main God.

This newly ascended True God may already be stronger than me, with extraordinary talent and opportunities, but hoping to become the fourteenth Titan Main God is likely just wishful thinking.

But He’s half right. It is very possible for Him to become a Domain Sovereign, and He might even establish a pantheon in the future. If He truly becomes a Domain Sovereign, He could indeed grant subordinate divine seats to my three disappointing sons. I’ll say a few nice words and play along for now.

Having thought this through, Byrne forced a smile and said, “Lord Ace is like the bright moon, while my three disappointing sons are merely fireflies. They indeed cannot compare. But these three brothers still have some use. If you do not mind, let them serve as your kin.”

The three brothers were shocked. The status of kin and a subordinate god were completely different. Alsop wasn’t a demigod yet, so starting out as kin was acceptable, but Alsodin and Alsos were veteran demigods. They felt they could at least be demigod Divine Attendants.

Ace smiled. They were all deities in the Lady of the Night’s camp, and the Three Sons of Dream were also descendants of Lady Artemis. Since He had chosen the Lady of the Night, He wouldn’t humiliate the three brothers by making them mere kin.

“Lord Byrne jests. I have not yet become a Domain Sovereign and cannot confer subordinate divine seats. I can only inconvenience the three of them to serve as my Divine Attendants for now. They do not need to attend to me constantly and will have freedom of movement, as long as they forge a sacred contract of laws with me.”

Byrne nodded, then asked the three brothers, “What do you think? This is a rare opportunity. Unless you plan to abandon the Path of Dream, there is no better choice than serving Lord Ace.”

The three exchanged glances. Alsodin took the initiative to step forward, resting his large head at Ace’s feet. Prostrating himself, he said, “Respected Lord Ace, you are the incarnation of dreams. My two brothers and I are willing to serve you. We beg you to open the dream domain and allow us to share in your glory.”

Ace’s face appeared sacred and radiant. He raised his hands high. The laws of dreams pulsed, and the Great Source resonated. An invisible scale emerged. Ace materialized the sacred contract into a dazzling mark and branded it onto the chests of the Three Sons of Dream.

Alsop felt countless flickering figures, suddenly comprehending all the domain secrets he previously couldn’t understand. With Alsodin and Alsos lending a hand, he instantly became an Epic Hero, permanently solidifying his power.
